Upcoming Community Events April - May 2025 Tuesday, May 6th: 4-5:30pm - The Duke Clinical & Translational Science Institute is hosting a virtual conversation for older adults or caregivers of older adults who have experienced a sudden health event. You can participate in the conversation by phone or computer. Participants will receive $50 gift card for their time. The virtual conversation’s flyer is attached. Wednesday, May 7th - AARP North Carolina, the NC Coalition on Aging and Friends of Residents are hosting this year’s Aging Advocacy Day at the NC General Assembly in Raleigh. There will be a rally followed-by visits with legislators. The Advocacy Day program will begin at 8:45am. To register, use this link.
