MARIA LAUNCHES NEW CANCER S U P P O RT G R O U P F O R W O M E N

M

aria, the driving force behind Maria and the Pink Ladies, has taken another heartfelt step to support women affected by cancer. She has established a dedicated cancer support group, providing a safe and welcoming space for those navigating diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Meeting once a month at the AACC office in CC Flamenca Beach, the group offers women the chance to connect, share experiences, and provide mutual support. Whether newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or in remission, all women facing cancer are warmly welcomed. As a long-time cancer sufferer herself, Maria understands firsthand the emotional and physical toll of this challenging disease. This insight inspired her to create a group rooted in compassion, encouragement, and friendship. The meetings are informal, fostering a relaxed and comforting environment where attendees can openly talk over a cup of tea or coffee, enjoy a biscuit, and find solace in each other’s company. More than just a meeting, this group is a community where women uplift one another, offering reassurance, practical advice, and emotional support. Whether someone needs guidance, a listening ear, or simply a place to feel understood, this group ensures that no woman faces cancer alone. Key benefits of the group include: Emotional Support – A place to share feelings and receive encouragement. Practical Guidance – Advice on navigating treatments and healthcare systems. Mental and Physical Well-being – Coping strategies to enhance overall health. Support at Every Stage – From diagnosis through remission and beyond. Empowerment and Advocacy – Encouraging women to support one another. If you or someone you know could benefit from this supportive network, reach out to Maria at 633 487 595. Beyond cancer support, Maria, along with the Pink Ladies and Panthers, assists with Early Detection and Screening Services, helping to book mammograms, cervical smears, and prostate tests at subsidized rates in local private hospitals and clinics. For more information or to participate in their initiatives, contact Maria and the Pink Ladies at +34 865 942 795. Visit them at CC Flamenca Beach, No. 8 Lower Level, Monday to Friday, 10 am to 1 pm. Together, we can provide strength, hope, and solidarity in the fight against cancer.
