n Friday morning the inauguration of the refurbished Zenia Boulevard was celebrated at an event attended by the mayor, Pepe Vegara, together with many of his Orihuela Councillors, and local dignitaries, in front of the central shopping precinct stage. Zenia Boulevard Director, Cristina Ros, made a short speech welcoming the guests to the event after which the mayor congratulated the centre staff on all their hard work in completing the project. He said that “Vibrant centres such as Zenia Boulevard are critical to our regional economy and to people’s quality of life, and there is no better example of such a facility in the whole of the Alicante Province.”
