NEW HOSPITAL ACCESS KEY TO TORREVIEJA’S € 6.3 MILLION ROAD UPGRADE PLAN
A
long-awaited new access to Torrevieja University Hospital is set to become the standout feature of a major e6.3 million road improvement plan approved by the City Council, as the town moves to tackle traffic bottlenecks and modernise more than 90 streets. The project, signed off by the local government board, goes far beyond routine resurfacing. At its core is a new entry point from the CV-95, on the carriageway towards Los Balcones—an intervention widely seen as overdue for one of the busiest and most strategically important healthcare facilities in the Vega Baja. The new access has already secured approval from the Valencian regional government and will be incorporated into future plans to upgrade and expand the CV-95 corridor.
