FAMILY CLEARS THE AIR THE FAMILY OF THE ONE-YEAR-OLD GIRL, whose throat was slashed in Rose Hall, said that they are in a state of mourning but wanted to correct some information that has arisen since the child’s death. The child was removed from her home and allegedly killed by a cousin on Saturday 10th February. The family moved to make it clear that the suspect did not jump out a window as reported by some media houses.

In an interview with THE VINCENTIAN, Joan Samuel, the child’s grandmother, said that she was not at home when the child was removed. She said that her daughter (the child’s mother) told her that she put the child to lie in a chair before going into the bedroom to change. When she returned, the child was gone.
