The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) confirmed the death of Police Constable #1116 Kenrick Scott, following an incident that occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. The circumstances surrounding Constable Scott’s death are currently under investigation and the RSVGFP has promised that “further information will be provided once the relevant facts have been verified and the necessary investigative procedures have been completed.” According to a police source, the body of the constable was found in a wooded area after what is being described unofficially as a suicide. A photo of Constable Scott lying in the area where he allegedly shot himself, clearly shows what viewers of the photo assume is a police service weapon near to his left lower limb. And notwithstanding all the speculation that is expected, and Police Constable #1116 Kenrick Scott, serving as a member of the SSU, is believed to have committed suicide.
