LETTER FROM FACULTY ADVISORS

Working with the talented members of the Lower School Art and Literary Club on Unquowazine Volume 8 has been an absolute joy Each student brought their own unique voice and creativity to every stage of the magazine’s development, and the results speak for themselves the collective work from our Lower School this year is truly outstanding.

In addition to curating submissions, the Unquowazine staff also contributed their own original pieces, including interviews, word art, comics, poetry and more. Their creativity and enthusiasm were evident in every detail

Nina, Blythe and Miles, along with their fellow staff members, took the lead in gathering much of the content. They approached the process with thoughtfulness and care, ensuring that each student’s work was represented with authenticity and respect. As their advisor, I had the pleasure of supporting and guiding them throughout this journey.

A heartfelt congratulations to all for your dedication and effort what a wonderful issue you’ve created!

Warmly, Mrs. Engelke

LETTER FROM THE EDITORS

We warmly welcome you to Unquowazine Vol. 8. We are so excited to share our creative magazine with you We have been starting from scratch to create this year’s Unquowazine.

We collected so much artistic and written work from Lower School students, from Pre-K to Grade 4 In Pre-K, they submitted their letter ‘J” exploration and their own paintings inspired by the artist Basquiat. Kindergarteners turned in different types of writing and artwork, and first graders gave us some fantastic personal narratives. Second graders wrote short stories and made inventive animals, and third graders submitted some poetry and non-fiction books. Finally, the fourth grade sent in realistic fiction, mysteries, and informational pieces Many students participated in the Unquowazine contest, and we loved seeing all of the entries.

We would like to thank everyone, including our staff, for contributing to Unquowazine They made original work in the form of interviews, comics, and artwork. Also, Joey and Quinn did an excellent job on the cover. Lastly, we would like to thank Mrs E for guiding us as we made Unquowazine Volume 8

Thank you for reading!

The Shadow

“Mom, when are we arriving?” I say “In fifteen minutes” my mom says We are in the car on our way to a new home in a town called Totally Normal Village My sister Mila, who is totally annoying, asks me to be quiet because she is trying to sleep My mom tells me we will get there when we get there My name is August and my family and I are moving I’m not at all excited about the move I already have so many friends at home

When we get there, I see beautiful houses and roads “Wow it look amazing,” I say. The houses are modern and made with a lot of glass. If there were people in the house. Then I could see them “Wait wait wait,” I think to myself, where are all of the people in this town? What happened to them? Did they move? Why is this town called totally normal town if it is not normal?

When we get to our house it looks totally different from the other ones

“Why is it the only house that is run down and is totally not modern,” my mom says. “Can we go back home? This place is really, really creepy.” says Mila . I agree “ No, we are not going home I spent a lot of money to go to this place If it really does end up not being a safe town, then we will leave I promise,” says Mom

When we get inside the house, we see the word “shadow” carved into the wall “That is really ominous, Mom are you sure we are not allowed to leave this place?” I say. “It's giving me the creeps! If we can’t leave can we just go to a different house in town?” says Mila

Next to the word “shadow” on the wall there is an arrow that leads to a door That might be even more creepier then the word on the wall “ I have a feeling that we should not go into whatever that door leads to. But creepy is fun,” says Mila While Mila went into the creepy door, I went to check the rest of the house before I even tried to go in the door “Wow, the rest of the house looks totally different upstairs than downstairs The top looks like it is brand new it is like a mansion compared to the bottom,” I say to my mom.

When I get to my room it does not look like what i thought it would look like It is so big and has a huge king-size bed I think I have gathered enough confidence to check out what is in that ominous door What if inside it is not so creepy as I thought

When I get to the door my brain tells me not to open the door but I do it

anyway Inside I think I found why all the other people left this town There were bones in the room And the bones cast a shadow That is why the word “shadow” is carved into the wall right outside of the room

When I look at the bones there is a sheet of paper next to it I read it and it says

Anyone who buys this house should know that this house is haunted And that you won't be able to live here because there is no water or food to survive Because this town has been in a drought for a long time If the drought ends maybe you will be able to live here peacefully Unless the shadow gets you first That is why you see bones here, they are human bones The shadow got me If you know what is good for you Leave this town As soon as possible

But why do I have to leave? What even is the shadow? How did it get here? But then I look on the back, and it says one word: Run I race to find my mom

“Mom this is really creepy. I think you have to come check it out, I say to her “Coming,” Mom says When she gets there her face looks realy realy terrified “August what are those,” she says I tell her to read the note When she is done reading it, she looks even more terrified than before By then, it is around midnight Everyone tries to get some sleep

The next morning we have our bags packed, and we are on the way back to our old house. When we are about seven hours in the car ride a reckless driver gets us into a crash, and before I know it It all goes black

When I wake up I see my mom is already up and looks around Wait a second are we back at the old house? “Yes, silly, you were asleep in the car ride the whole time and dad carried you into the house and put you to bed,” says Mom You must have dreamed about something when you were asleep

What made me think we were at the old house was the word “shadow” that I saw carved into the wall at the house in Totally Normal Village. My mom tells me the word “shadow” was nowhere, even at the other house “Shadow ” Did it get me? Is that why I thought I died in a car crash? Was it “shadow” that made me dream of it? Who knows I guess nobody will know what truly happened in the

house we went to Was it just a hallucination that I saw the word shadow Who knows? It is a mystery.

The End.

The Day It All Started

Chapter 1:

I never knew my life could change so fast Moving was supposed to be normal or so I thought Let me go back to were all of this started My name is Hannah Brown I am 12 years old And this is my story My heart was beating so fast I was moving to Augusta,Maine Me and my family’s bags were already stuffed in the car Once we got in the inside the car a fight broke out between my little sister,Natalia and my little brother Liam The two were fighting over the tablet and what to watch ”I want to watch Paw patrol!”said Liam ”No! I want to watch My little pony!”said Natalia. They are twins and were born 48 seconds apart Their 6 years old Anyway, while they were fighting,I doom scrolled on Youtube shorts Then a few minutes later my Mom and Dad stoped the annoying

fight Then we hit the road On the way there,we stoped at Starbucks,Mc Donalds and Chick fa lay. Then after 5 to 7 hours of driving,we arrived.

Chapter 2:

When we got in to town, something felt off. There was not a single person in sight. It was almost as if everyone had gone missing Next thing we knew,we were arrived to our new home ”WOOW!” said Liam ”It’s so big!” said Natalia Then we all went inside The house was’nt that cool though It seemed like everything was normal. (or thats what I tought). After we dropped our bags,we explored the house The first room I explored was the Bathroom The mirror was covered with a big white cloth So of course, like curious girl I am,I took the cloth of the mirror and my blood went cold ”AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” I screamed.

Writen on the mirror was”FIND THE SOLUTION ”in the color Orange ORANGE!One of the ugliest color in the history of colors!(In my opinion) Then my Mom came rushing over ”OH MY GOD! HANNAH,ARE YOU OKAY?!”my Mom said Then she saw the text on the mirror ”Is this why you screamed so loud?” she said in a worried voice After she calmed down, she suggested that we should take a family walk around the neighborhood

Chapter 3:

As we walked,Liam and Natalia were getting very confused ”Where are da people?” said liam ”Yeah, and where are all da cute little animals?”said Natalia

Next thing I knew, the sound of buzzing bugs Then, from afar,I saw bugs But these bugs looked odd They almost looked like they were poisonous and mutated Soon, they flew closer and closer until they came speeding twords us. ”Daddy, why are lots of big buggies coming at us?”said Liam. ”Uh,how about we head home.”said Dad. But then… THE BUGS FLEW EVEN FASTER! ”RUUNN!”my mom screamed But as we were running,a bug bit my dad! Then he stoped running And less then 30 seconds later,he tured into a mindless monster!

As we were running,I ran past something strapped to a power line And then I knew That was the solution! So I ran back and ripped the tape off Next I took the spray and and sprayed it tword the bugs and my dad After I sprayed it,the bugs

turned into dust Including my dad ”DADDDDYYYYYYY!”shriecked Natalia

Then we launched into the car. At last,we drove away from that horrible town and that horrrifying buggy mystery

Tom and John Worst of Friends

In the book, Worst of Friends By Suzanne Tripp Jurmain, the author talks about the similarities and differences between Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.

Both of them had some similarities and some differences They each had the dream to make the U S A a better place and they both ran and became President

Although they had many similarities, they had many differences Differences such as Tom was skinny and John was fat they both had different ideas how to run the

U S A

Tom and John had some similarities Tom and John both loved the U S A

They loved the U S A so much that they went to King George to ask if it could be a country, but when they did, King George turned his back on them Tom and John were also the founding fathers of the U.S.A.

Tom and John also had some differences to. Tom was tall and skinny and John was short and fat John thought that the President should have all the power, but Tom said that the people should have the power

Tom and John had missed each so much John wrote a letter Tom Tom wrote back, they kept doing that until they died on the same day 4/7/1826

Dangerous Tsunamis!

Tsunamis can be very big, and they can suck up stuff in their way like a powerful vacuum A tsunami can be one big wave or a group of waves Tsunamis are caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions and they can also be caused by landslides. They are very dangerous to people and they can kill a lot of people and also in the Indian Ocean there was a big tsunami

Tsunamis mainly occur under the oean floor Tsunamis come from earthquakes or from volcanoes and the wind pushes the water and makes a big wave and it can go on land The ring of fire is surrounded by earthquakes or big volcanoes

Scientists are working to be able to predict that a tsunami is coming. Tsunami intensity scale measures tsunami damage Scientists tell the people that a

tsunami is going to happen So that the people can go to safety The largest tsunamis have waves over 52 feet tall

The deadliest tsunami that happened was in the indian ocean 200,000 people were killed and millions were left homeless. And a lot of buildings were destroyed. And alot of trees fell down. And the Tsunami pulled people out to the sea The baddest tsunami hit parts of Southeast Asia.

The weird move day…

My family and I are moving to Paris At the airport we looked for a taxi and there was just one big one. We got in our car in the parking lot and drove. There was no one on the road, just the same taxi… The neighborhood was empty. Weird.

But I just forgot on my ipad Then we arrived at the house hidden in the trees The wind blows into me I dropped my bags as the gate was waiting to be open As we put the code in the gate opens with the cracks cracking sound as it opens

As we unlock door no lights were on It felt weird with a bloody sign saying

help As I drop my bag once again the floor having dog prints and the tv blinking over and over Again I dropped my bag one more time then went up stairs with my brother called Leo When I said I dont want to go upstairs he said “shut up for one time in your life ” We tried opening the door and it was locked We tried all

of them they were all locked as we said “well ok ” Then my sister came up and stormed in her room but it was locked She said “open the door!” kicked it and it opened up and said “I hate this house ” I went back down stairs to get a snack and there was nothing so we went back in the car and went to the super market. No one was there, so we went to self check out and came back to the car. We went back to the house and no one was in the town We just went back home and dropped the bag one more time then got my snack and tried to watch tv but never got to tho because it was blinking I played with my cat but he was too scared to get out and the dogs too We were all scared so I followed the dog print It was boring but all I could do was find who did that sign. I looked and looked until no clue came. I spent 1 hour looking still no clue Now there was cracky sounds with the tv not wanting to turn off with the news on Then night came I could not sleep I was scared We ate Five Guys because the was the only thing open then went to bed

I was dreaming about nothing only dropping my bag over and over again

Then morning nothing changed. It felt odd the wind pushing the windows. I was scared I went down the stairs I felt someone or something was odd in this town. I was thinking why was no one here? I looked at the sign one more time I was

thinking what if they needed help and all ran from the town still no people came, just still a weird city A sad one with no sun no people We tried going to the city to see no stores were open and no people working no light in buildings

Then we saw a sign saying MEET US AT THE PUB DAY 2026

and that was the day that me moved in but i did not care i kept on walking Then I turned back in the naberhood all doors were open I was thinking of that pub thing after

Then we tried to see who said help on the bloody sign. We tried to see if the house was empty and it was clean because the cleaners came when we were in the city.

But I said now they will call the cops because now they will think the bloody sign was us As I said and my mom said but there are no cops We looked once more Nothing Then my bother Leo complains I hate this house and town then it was night my mom cooked food and off I went to sleep

The next day I woke up and cars were coming kids having fun at the playground Sun out no clouds and for the sign We asked people why were there bloody sign and they said it was for Halloween since Halloween was coming and in the city they were in a pub and the sign told every thing

Halloween Night

The Legend of Halloween Night:

Every night on Halloween, monsters rise up, waiting unseen

The dead rise up from their graves, coming after you.

Every year for centuries, this wicked legend has come true

One year 4 people will arrive, while everyone else has disappeared

Three witches appear underneath the moon

We will all rise up as one, the witches won`t return!

Nina:

I am soooooooo excited! We`re moving! But then I`m also a little upset

I`ll miss home But I`m going to a new home I`m reading when Brendon says “are we there yet?” My dad, babi says “not yet” We are moving to Cape May, New

Jersey Now every day I can see my cousin Bella I think to myself I wonder what my birthdays and school days will be like “Can you put on google maps?” I ask “Sure,” says Babi It`s the day before Halloween, and I wanted to move someday else, if we had to move at all I don`t know why Maybe It`s just my OCD I think I was about to switch to drawing, but I saw I ran out of paper. “Babi! I`m bored!” I put all my labubus in various pockets on my side. I pretend to be a pilot on a plane.

“ Welcome to Labubu airs Please pay attention to this short safety video.” I say “get ready for taxi and takeoff Please fasten your seatbelt Thank you for taking Labubu airs ” I move my water bottle around like a claw machine controller would

I press the cap and say “TAKEOFF!!!” “Are we there yet?” Brendon says impatiently “Not quite ” says babi “Can you put on some music?” I ask “Sure,”

says babi The music plays loudly I look at the ETA I sigh when I see we still have fifty-nine minutes left “I`m hungry!” I say “And I have to go to the bathroom! Where`s the next rest stop!" “Can you wait for an hour?” mom says “I guess ” I say Coconut whines in the back “we`ll be there soon ” I say Later, we arrived at 3:27 PM It`s unusually quiet in town And it`s nice out I wonder why I can`t see anyone through their windows Oh well I think “We`re here!” Babi says I jump out of the car with all my things that I can carry. I run upstairs to find which one will be my room “I found my room!!” I shout so everyone downstairs can hear It`s nicely painted, so I can start decorating right away I remember one of my lifelong dreams of finding and decorating a secret room I knock on all the walls to see if it`s hollow It echoes I found a secret room! I quickly look for an entrance I look around every INCH I see nothing Sadly, I put my hand on the wall, thinking I`m gonna have to break the wall Suddenly, I hear a clicking sound A platform rises underneath my feet. The wall turns around. I did it! I found a secret room! I think What I see is a giant room It is painted maroon It`s a secret library!!! Book shelves surround me in every way. I grab a book. I flip to a page and it`s ripped. it says Every night on Halloween, monsters rise up waiting unseen The dead rise up, from their graves, coming after you Every day for centuries this wicked legend has come true

I wonder where the other words are Oh well! I look around and see a diamond podium with a bullet-proof glass box on top I walk closer I see a book called: 20 spells and potions I try to lift the cover It`s too heavy I think it might be like the door I put my hand on top, and sure enough, it opens It`s a short book I open it up and look inside I see the page that was ripped Sure enough, It s full

The Legend of Halloween Night:

Every night on Halloween, monsters rise up, waiting unseen

The dead rise up from their graves, coming after you.

Every year for centuries, this wicked legend has come true.

One year 4 people will arrive, while everyone else has disappeared Three witches appear underneath the moon

We will all rise up as one, the witches won`t return!

Interesting I think I flip to a new page It has a reappearing spell I can make all the people reappear! I think The book says:

Reappearing spell:

Ingredients:

a piece of paper ripped from this book,

A shell from on the beach, oobleck fresh from the kitchen,

The leaf of a ripe peach

Collect and stir in a bowl

Put mixture underground

People come and people go,

Instructions:

Chant:

This is going to help them, you know

Reappear at midnight!

I have all those things! I think I grab the corn starch and get a glass of water I make the oobleck I put it in a bowl I am thankful I collect shells on the beach I

put one in the bowl. I got a peach leaf and put it in. Last time I checked they were ripe. I grab the book and rip the corner off of a page. I dig a hole and bury it in.

The next day, everyone is back! Halloween isn`t canceled! At night, I dress up as a witch and everyone gets why immediately I get a lot of medals and me and Brendon get a lot of candy for saving the town HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!

Everyone says It was a good way to spend the night

I've been savoring my Dunkin' Donuts Boston Creme doughnut I am having the time of my life (or at least the best time ever in a car) I got my first iphone ever and I'm playing Cookie Run: Kingdom ”

We need gas,” my dad points out “well we’re going to need it if we want to go to Huntington Beach”my mom agrees “Wha-” I start as I turn off my phone. The two shout “WE ARE MOVING!!!” Now I feel my heart beating at a speed that feels like 1,000,000 miles per second.

A cool breeze blasts by and I know we have arrived I drag my suitcase into the living room as I stare at a round glass table in our pretty, modern house right out of town ” Uhm this town was said to be uh more crowded,” my mom slowly states as she pulls up a picture on her phone of a beach party Neon lights

flash on surprising both of us my little sister wonders over we read the lights watch channel 2 7 I snatch our remote and thank my dad for connecting and cleaning it.I smash on the news:

DWXCRK ~~ **27~~^^ “everyone in Huntington Beach has been gone Roger Smith's spouse reports on her husband pixelizing and floating into the screen as soon as a virus pops up. Each person who has disappeared has a Android I immediately know everyone but us has a Android, it's getting dark I head to bed. Our little bulldog curls up in bed with me.

The next morning is a perfect pink sky with hazy Clouds and I'm in my corduroy pants in a minute I wonder how to save everyone else Out the window I stare everything is corrupting in to electronic stores and the people who had disappeared? They were all tired store clerks, all staring mindlessly at their phones One place stands out to me a 1980s arcade! We walk over making sure to look away from the tempting screens

I glance at a weird generator and realize a sticky note and on it is some chordenates and rent a Vespa, I`m there in two minutes time. A huge Android factory towers over me now I know how to fix everything A red button flashes SELF-DESTUCT DO NOT PRESS!!!! Without a doubt I know its the solution

erupts, it blasts out molten hot lava When it cools down it becomes very hard rock Also when it erupts it releases poisonous gases!

Where a Volcano Can be Found

Volcanoes can mainly be found in Hawaii, Japan, Italy, Indonesia, and on the huge Pacific Ocean plate Also the Ring of Fire surrounds the Pacific Ocean and is made up of hundreds of volcanoes There are hundreds of volcanoes of volcanoes in the world but more than half of them are found in a big circle on shores of the Pacific Ocean called the Ring of Fire This ring lies along the Edges of the plates, the places the magma can most easily get through

Ring of Fire How Volcanoes Are Measured, How Much Damage A Volcano Causes

A volcano is measured at the Montserrat Volcano Observatory A volcano is very distruteve and it can destroy homes and buildings! One way to tell when a

volcano eruption is going to happen is if the ground shakes Earthquakes can mean that the magma is rising and about to erupt!

Historical Volcano Eruptions

On August 27 1883 island of Krakataus Indonesia, blew itself to pieces The huge explosion was one of the biggest volcanic eruptions in history Even though the island was unihhabited the eruption clamed the lives of at lest 36 thousand people

How To Stay Safe During a Volcanic Erptoin

The lava moves very slowly so their is a high chance you can evacuat Also stay away from kitchens and high cabeninits.

Cool Volcano Facts

Title: Time For Tornados

Chapter 1 Tornados

Tornados, a funnel cloud spins down down down, like cotton candy, when it hits the ground, it becomes a tornado Scientists don’t know why tornados happen, but they do know that large and powerful tornadoes come from very bad thunderstorms Some scientists think tornados form to balance cold dry air, and moist wet air

Chapter 2 Where Tonados Mainly Occur

Most tornadoes occur in the central part of the United States of America, also known as Tornado Ally In Tornado Allythe mixtures of North and South are perfect for a tornado to form The reason why Tornado Ally is perfect for a tornado to form is because of the warm moist air mixing with the cold dry air colliding with each other one over the other to make a tornado

Chapter 3 How To Stay Safe During, And After A Tornado

One of the most important things you should do to protect yourself from an injury in a tornado is to be alert about the weather Like, if the sky turns a greenish or greenish black color, or there is a sound a little like rushing air or a waterfall, and it turns into a roar as the tornado comes closer When debris drops from the sky Also if a funnel shaped cloud appears It is spinning, while other clouds are moving very quickly toward it If a tornado watch or warning is posted , then a real danger sign that a tornado is coming is falling hail Another is, do you go outside, NO, the best place where you should go is in your basement. If you have two basements you should go in the lowest one, and if you have a garage with a storage closet/room crawl in there, just DO NOT GO OUTSIDE!

Chapter 4 Where Some Historical Events Occurred Featuring Tornados

The most dangerous single tornado was in the United States Of America The tri-state tornado happened in 1925 It killed 200 people and injured over 2,000

One of the worst tornados of close year was the town of Jarrel Texas, on May 27th, 1997 A thunderstorm came racing down of the north in the middle of the evening

Moving at 20 miles per hour, kind of like the fast and furious, the storm came in the town

Chapter 5 Other Facts You Should Know About Tornados How Tornados Are Formed

They are formed when, rapidly moving cold air at a high altitude crosses over slow-moving warm air nearer to the ground The two air currents start to swirl, one over the other, until they form into a giant tube inside the cumulonimbus

(Co lum bus) cloud When warm ground air rises up to the cloud and pushes on the roll of swirling air, tipping it over to a upright position.

Last but not least, if the funnel shape that is formed at the base of the cloud creates

a vacuum that sucks up warm ground air at an increasingly faster rate

The funnel stretches downward, growing long until it reaching the ground, and becomes A TORNADO

Stay safe out there

The

Missing People

I can’t believe it I’m moving to Long Island sound with my family today! When we got into the car I asked my mom and dad how much longer is ride? “We just got into the car!” my sister Alysa said When we were finally on the road, I tried to take a nap like my little brother Kenzo, who was sound asleep and we had only been on the road for 20 minutes! He must have been really tired

When I thought it was a better time to ask I again said the same thing as before “How much longer is the ride?!” My older brother Jax said, “An hour and a half!” “WHAT”!!! I yelled Kenzo said, “Would you be quiet?!” I said fine so I whispered to my mom how long will that take? “It will take as long as it will take” she replied After 30 minutes we stopped at a gas station because we needed more gas, also Kenzo needed to go to the bathroom. While we waited for the gas and Kenzo, my dad asked if we wanted to get some snacks, sure me and Alysa replied.

“Jax is already in the gas station” my dad said So we met Jax in the gas station and me and Alysa got our personal favorite Hubba bubba gum We paid for our snacks and Kenzo came back from the bathroom, and then we headed back on the road

After another 30 minutes I asked my dad how much longer is the ride? He said “30 minutes”. Okay at least that’s better than another hour and a half, I thought to myself

After another 30 minutes we finally got to Long Island sound, I leaped out of the car and took a deep breath and yelled finally fresh air!!! My mom told me to be quiet the people in our new neighborhood might like it quiet I don’t doubt that because she’s right it’s awfully quiet When we saw the neighborhood there were no people There were empty streets, opened doors, dull lights flashing and there was dust everywhere! The streets, the houses, the food was fluffed with dust Luckly my family packed food for us

The next day we had a picnic because it was warm outside We found a perfect spot for our breakfast So we laid out the blanket and started eating After a little while Alysa found a sign that said “croatans ” What are “croatans?” I asked my dad “I’m not sure” he replied

CHARLIE GRADE 4

After breakfast I asked my mom if we could explore the forest “After lunch” she said After a little while we had another picnic for lunch When we have finished our lunch, we folded our blankets and went on a little hike

On the hike, we continue to wonder where everyone is Suddenly, I noticed that I was the first one on top of the mountain I wasn’t lost because I could see my siblings and parents on a lower hill While I was waiting for them I heard a foghorn and people talking near the ocean, I looked over the rocks and saw a boat that said River Rush.

When my family finally hit the top of the mountain where I was, I told them that I found a boat with people in it over the rocks. My family looked over the pile of rocks, they were still there why are they not moving? I asked Alysa ” I have no idea why” Did their boat break down? I asked my dad “No the engine is fine” he said I asked my mom what are they doing? “I’m not sure” she said “Maybe there just having a party”said Kenzo “Maybe” Jax said

Since the boat was close to the rocks that we’re looking over I climbed over and slid onto the boat with my family coming behind me Everyone looked at us couriously at us and I asked why are you not moving? “A random man said “everyone on this boat wants to go to Chesapeake Bay but the captain said that we

can’t” I asked why not? “Our captain said that we can not” said a woman So we’re figuring out where we want to go The captain said “fine we can go to Chesapeake Bay on one condition” Everyone stayed silent You all first have to get your stuff and we’ll go to Chesapeake Bay.

Everyone on the boat cheered except us we just said hooray silently. So we brought our stuff on the boat and sailed to Chesapeake Bay And it was so much cleaner than our neighborhood in Long Island Sound, There were people talking and looking at us all of us said “hi” they said “hello!” We started to feel like home, so we bought a new house and in chesapeak bay and made new friends

THE END.
