Alumni Spotlight: Tera Hatler By: Aidan Cagner A frequent visitor on our campus, Alumna Tera Hatler, CPA is an Assurance Partner at EY. Originally from Oxford, CT, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Scranton in 2003 with an accounting degree. While at Scranton, she was a cheerleader and taught step-aerobics as her work-study job. She also served as an Intercompany Accounting Intern for IBM. Tera currently resides in Rutherford, NJ, and enjoys running, spinning, traveling, binging on TV, and spending time with her two kids. Tera also serves on the University of Scranton’s Accounting Department Professional Alumni Council (ADPAC) and received the Michael O. Mensah Service Award in 2018 for her continued dedication to the University and its students. BAP and SAS will be welcoming Tera back on campus in early April to discuss the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the accounting and financial services profession.
