Mr Pintard said the Central Bank correspondence raises fundamental questions over who authorised the opening of an account bearing the National Investment Fund’s name, who authorised deposits and withdrawals, and how hundreds of millions of dollars could have moved through it without a functioning board. on Sunday, disrupting eight flights and temporarily leaving the country’s main airport without a usable runway. The spill occurred at about 12.19pm on Runway 10/28, according to Nassau Airport Development Company, forcing the runway to

Mom fights dog with bare hands to save her three-year-old daughter By EARYEL BOWLEG Tribune Staff Reporter ebowleg@tribunemedia.net A MOTHER fought a dog with her bare hands while holding her threeyear-old daughter after the animal escaped from a neighbour’s yard and attacked the child, leaving her with head injuries that required surgery. Bentika Lightbourne, 36, said she feared she could have lost her daughter, Skyla, in Wednesday’s attack on Ida
Street. She also alleged that the same dog, believed to be a German Shepherd, had bitten her cousin about two weeks earlier. “I coulda lose my baby,” Ms Lightbourne said.
