Rudolph “Rudy” Alexander Carroll, 51, of Mount Vernon, Nassau, Bahamas, passed away on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 at Doctors Hospital after a short illness. Rudy graduated from Nassau Christian Academy in 1988 and went on to further his education at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In April of 2000, Rudy married his former wife, Marie Allen, the mother of his three adorable children, Laura, Luke and Lance. Rudy spent much quality time with the children, enjoying life – playing and caring for animals, beaching, boating, lending support at soccer games, flying kites, etc. He was the most devoted and incredible father to his three children. Rudy began his career in banking but later in life, decided to pursue a real estate career that would give him more freedom and flexibility with his children. In 2010, he won the Coldwell Banker International Sterling Society Award for sales performance for the third time. In 2020, he joined the team at LX Bahamas Luxury Realty Group as an Estate Agent. Rudy lived life to the fullest, working hard and playing hard, truly enjoying life! He was a member of Eureka Lodge 114 and BREA and past-president of the Blair Association. He also participated in an annual Christmas Gift Drive organized by LX Bahamas Luxury Realty Group where he played the role of Santa, and was very passionate about this event. If you wanted to find Rudy, all one would have to do is to pass by Starbucks where he enjoyed having his morning coffee with his colleagues and friends. More recently, since Covid, you would see them sitting outside in the parking lot, talking and laughing.
