IN LOVING MEMORY

A Tribute to my Dad,

People say time heals all wounds but that’s not true. Time shouldn’t put a stamp on when you should let go. Because letting go feels like forgetting. I believe we should process everything and celebrate in our own way. Dad the day you were slipping away I was in denial. However, I knew that the pain you were experiencing was beyond what anyone would want their love one to endure. I thank God for allowing me to come see you in 2023 because it gave me more time with you on earth. Since that day January 8,2025, not a day goes by that I don’t think about the wonderful moments we shared. You were such a respectable man, full of life and love. You had a way of lighting up any room with your laughter, always ready to have fun and celebrate time with family. Having you stay here with me in Denver, Colorado the last years of your life was a blessing. I cherished every moment we spent together-the stories, the smiles, and even the quiet times. Taking care of you and advocating for you sometimes with the help of Mom, was an honor and privilege. It allowed us to share even more love and closeness. Your grandkids misses you dearly. King Tuck continue to dance with the Lord.

Though you are no longer physically here, your spirit continues to inspire me every day. I will forever celebrate you, Daddy. Your legacy, warmth, love, and joy lives on in my heart.

With all my love,

Your Daughter Aubrena Tucker; Grandchildren: Amari McGregor, Juran Lewis, Prevail Wilkins and Asher Tucker

Words can never fully describe the joy, friendship, and father-daughter hood we shared. You will forever remain my best friend! Everyday it seems I’m trapped in a dream and it just doesn’t feel real but in those moments I know as much as it pains me your no longer here on earth with me your in a better place where you don’t have to anguish in pain any longer. I miss our phones calls where I shared all major decisions with you and when we talked about what recipes we were going to explore. Your light, laughter, and presence always stood out among the crowd and brought smiles to everyone around you. You have taught me so much and I wouldn’t trade the times we shared for the world. With a heavy heart I write this tribute but with a peace I’m glad that your my daddy and you’ve passed along a lot of wonderful contributions and memories to me. Heavens Angel you are now but King Tucks you will always be. I love you to the moon and back and miss you everyday. Your heart, and spirit will continue to live on forever. Until we meet again, continue to fill heaven with your light and presence!

Your Daughter Alexia Tucker
