Allotment Requests Total $55,300 Student Oouncil Allotment Committee met with 38 ClUbS on Wednesday to decide on allotments. These clubs, In addition ttY STuca sponsored events (I.e. Movie commlttee, social comm.. lecture comm.), requested an approximate total of $55,300. This Is about $4,200. more than was requested last semester, Of this. the committee tentsllvely approved a total of $46,000. With the Student Activity Fee Increase starting this semester, funds should be able to ooverthls flgura. If so. this means that STUCO was able to tentatively allot $13,600 more than last semester, a 42% Increase. Final approval will be decided by the entire Council at an open meeting this Sunday, 2/19. at 7:00 p.m. In the 2nd floor Center lounge.

This semester, the Committee enforced that part of their procedures which required clubs to submit a list of members. a constitution. their facully advisor. advIsors signature, an equipment list and in some casesacompleteflnanciaI record for at least the past

semester. If a club has not submitted any tYr all of the above requirements. allotments. will not be deposited Into its account until STUCO receives whatever was missing. Those clubs that didn't show up at all, will have to walt until next semesterto request funds.
