Bespoke Emotional and Behavioural Psychological Services TRANSFORMING BEHAVIOURS FOR HAPPIER LIVES

Unravel is a team of warm, passionate, dedicated emotional and behavioural psychologists and practitioners. In our work we aim to provide professional and effective psychological support tailored to the needs of our clients. We work with people of various ages: children, young people and adults, individually and with groups, families and organisations. We aim to provide psychological insight, effective strategies of action, training, coaching and resources.

Unravel’s approach is unique and includes specialised support in the following directions: •

Identifying key challenges around behaviours to provide bespoke support with the most effective and personalised tools to encourage insight, growth and positive change.

•

Developing and applying a range of psychological techniques including elements of neuroscience, so that individuals can learn ways to best understand themselves and take charge of their brains and behaviour.

•

Working holistically, addressing all aspects of an individual’s life which might be contributing to their presenting issues. With effective and compassionate guidance, we facilitate activation of individual self-esteem, self-belief and resilience.

•

Using whole person approach to allow each individual to enhance and master control of both their emotional and mental well-being, and life satisfaction. Our uniqueness is effective and statistically proven.

Unravel for children When working with children, we offer one-to-one sessions, training for teachers and workshops for parents as part of our 360 approach. This gives all those involved strategies for understanding and handling the issues communicated by children through their behaviour during times of emotional distress. This enables children to become masters of their brains rather than slaves to their emotions which in turn fosters emotional development, resilience and improved self-regulation. At Unravel, we teach children to take charge of their own behaviours by facilitating their understanding of how the brain works, especially in difficult times. Key Benefits: To provide a toolkit of personalised techniques to become aware, understand and regulate emotions To facilitate learning of different ways how thoughts, emotions and behaviour interact and influence each other To help discover strengths to enable feeling in charge and content in the present moment To increase awareness and confidence to communicate individual needs in a mindful and open way To strengthen the ability to pay attention and empathise with others

Unravel for families We know how challenging parenting can be. It may be the most important job in the world, but one that comes without a manual. Your child may be avoiding school, crying, showing aggressive behaviour, self-harming, suffering from anxiety or showing challenging behaviour in some way. Whatever their difficulties, we understand and will work with you to facilitate a positive and lasting result, equipping you with informed ways of supporting your child in the most effective way for the whole family.

Unravel’s approach is based around gaining insight into what your child is feeling and learning, and how you can work together to improve this. We guide you in practising strategies so that you can become the parent your child needs during challenging times. Family bonds are naturally very strong and special; discovering and using most effective ways of communicating your love to each other will profoundly change the quality of your family life. We are here to support you through these times of positive change by providing a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate and empowering space. Key Benefits: To empower children to believe in their abilities to feel happy, brave and achieve anything they put their mind to To empower parents and carers with strategies that work to feel able to make and sustain positive changes in the lives of their families T o facilitate thriving relationships which help people to positively connect and grow individually and together.
