PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) chief General Nicolas Torre III, announced on Monday the arrest of a notorious Chinese national and prime suspect in several criminal cases, including a restaurant shooting in Makati and the abduction of a 14-year-old student in Taguig. In a press briefing at Camp Crame in Quezon City, Torre identified the suspect as Wang Dan Yu, also known as Bao Long. He was apprehended in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, at midnight on Saturday as he allegedly attempted to reenter the country through the southern backdoor, based on intelligence reports.
