HE Court of Appeals issued a freeze order on known assets of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) and its officers led by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
The Aug. 6 notice issued by the CA's Special 3rd Division also covered assets of Swara Sug Media Corporation which operates the religious group’s media arm, Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI). The freeze order covered the follow-
ing: 10 bank accounts, seven real properties, five motor vehicles, and one aircraft owned by Quiboloy; 47 bank accounts, 16 real properties, and 16 motor vehicles of the KOJC, and 17 bank accounts, five real properties, and 26 motor vehicles of Swara Sug. Next page

By Vince Lopez PRESIDENT Marcos warned erring and corrupt cops will be punished as he upheld the Philippine National Police's bloodless campaign against illegal drugs. "The police need to be disciplined, transparent and fair. Erring and corrupt police will face the appropriate sanctions. Remember your mandate -safety and service are the core of your duty," the President said during the 123rd anniversary of the PNP in Camp Crame yesterday. Commending the leadership of PNP chief Gen. ing economies. In its latest report, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) revealed that the economy, as measured by gross domestic product (GDP), went at its fastest pace since the second quarter of 2023 when it grew 4.3 percent. It also surpassed the revised 5.8
percent GDP growth recorded in the first quarter of the year. This brought GDP growth to 6 percent in the first half of the year, keeping the government on track to achieve its target growth rate of 6 to 7 percent for 2024. Next page

Ronald Dela Rosa that police officials implicated in the drug war killings had been asked to testify before the International Criminal Court. In a statement, Co explained: "I met General (Romeo) Caramat twice. First, in 2023 when he was introduced to me by Congressman Erwin Tulfo. At that time, he (Gen.
