Officials Break Ground for New Mastic Beach Ambulance Headquarters
MB Ambulance Groundbreaking Historical Society Dedicates Museum and Honors Weber’s Suffolk County Legislator Tom Muratore once again spent a busy weekend attending community events in his district. Legislator Muratore, Brookhaven Town Clerk Donna Lent and Councilman Kevin LaValle attended the Farmingville Flea Market, sponsored by the Farmingville Residents Association. The officials also participated in the Ronkonkoma Historical Society’s Museum dedication, honoring Paul and Sandy Weber on their retirement and the closing of the community’s iconic Agnew and Taylor Hardware store. “I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a beautiful fall day,” stated Legislator Muratore. “The residents and community leaders love their respective hometowns, as evidenced by the turnout at each event. I am especially appreciative of the opportunity to recognize the Webers as they close a chapter in Ronkonkoma history. Agnew and Taylor Hardware Store’s history dates back to 1899, and it is sad to say goodbye.”
