DJPK is a painter of music, a maker of muse, and a relentless creator of ambiance art. In his 6th year of working endless hours on the art of live looping, DJPK has taken elements of modern beats, worldly instrumentation, electric guitar wizardry, bass and keys amongst vast psychedelic soundscapes and created a sound of his own that is sure to lift the spirits and get you movin’ and groovin’, or in that perfect headspace for your mindful practices.

5:30PM – 6:30PM | Spencer Marlyn Duo

Spencer Marlyn Band is what happens when a looping wizard and a one-man drum circle collide. Formed in Bend, Oregon by two Midwest transplants, this high-energy duo delivers the kind of sound you’d expect from a full band—genre-hopping their way through funk, reggae, bluegrass, jam, folk, and psychedelia.

Frontman Spencer Marlyn combines captivating songwriting with a looping setup and effects pedal mastery, while percussionist Scottie brings a globally influenced punch, shaped by his background in West African rhythms and a wildly diverse drum kit. The result? A danceable, feel-good explosion of sound packed with originals and crowd-favorite covers.

Born from all walks of life, brought together in one corner of the globe to spread the love of reggae music back outward to the world. Iron Prophecy brings a Roots Reggae vibe to the stage, seeded with a deep lyrical message about love and unity. The band is headed up by frontman and guitarist Ras Reggae, with backing vocals and keys from The Bubble Queen, Angelikeys. Euphoric Mind fills in the sound with lead keys, while Mad Chad bassie and drummie Iric sit deep in the pocket. Rounding out the horn section, James, Ed, and Ian hold it down on sax, trombone, and trumpet.

Often referred to as a “Human Jukebox”, Woodyard’s knowledge of music spans effortlessly across eras and genres. A multi-talented musician who uses looping machines, his voice and guitar, Woodyard is best known for his wide array of genre-bending covers that showcase his vocal range and eclectic sound creating truly unique and dance-inspiring performances. With no two shows sounding the same, Woodyard’s improv-esque style is reminiscent of a Reggie Watts and Marc Rebillet lovechild - a multiinstrumentalist who captivates audiences and sparks dancefloors seconds after taking to the stage.

IMPROV GAMES takes over the Mainstage at Summer Festival, hosted by the quick-witted Liam Gibler! Watch as performers create hilarious scenes, unforgettable characters, and even songs on the spot—all inspired by audience suggestions, participation, and prompts from the host. Every show is completely unique and wildly unpredictable. If you love Whose Line Is It Anyway?, you’ll love this fast-paced, laugh-out-loud improv experience.

| Hot Wing Contest

Think you can handle the heat? Step up for the El Jefe Wing Challenge on Saturday, May 30 from 4pm–5pm! Contestants will have just three minutes, 15 blazing El Jefe wings, and one lonely napkin to prove their spice supremacy. No ranch. No blue cheese. No celery. Just pure wing-fueled determination. After each round, wings will be weighed to determine who conquered the most by weight. Top eaters will score 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize packages — plus serious bragging rights.

Call Down Thunder cdt-2025-band-w-logo.jpg Celebrating the music of The Grateful Dead and it’s members, Call Down Thunder features Eli Madden & Dave Pettibone on guitars & vocals, Gary Gallag her on keyboards & vocals, along with bassist Chip Fieberg, and drummer Sam Gibney. Jam band style improvised explorations and carefully crafted set lists create an authentic Grateful Dead listening experience that pays homage and tribute to the music and it’s creators.

mamasboy is a trip—the kind of performance that turns any venue into a destination. Blending hip hop, funk, soul, and rock n’ roll, the group delivers an explosive sound and magnetic energy that captivates audiences from the first note, whether on a festival stage, in a packed club, or filling a wedding dance floor. At the center is Huddy “mamasboy” Mickel, a powerhouse frontman whose commanding vocals and fearless stage presence drive every performance. Seamlessly moving between genres, Huddy channels the raw honesty of hip hop, the swagger of funk, and the soaring soul of classic rock while making every crowd feel like part of the party.

Weezer Tribute Island In The Sun - Weezer tribute takes you on a time-warp to the 90s alternative explosion that saw Rivers Cuomo and company at its vanguard. Prepare to pogo through a set that could include some unexpected (but beloved) deep cuts alongside anthems like “Buddy Holly”, “Say It Ain’t So” and “Hash Pipe.” Geek rockers unite!

Catch the magic of Lava City Cirque as they take to the air with a high-flying, awe-inspiring performance on the Summer Fest Main Stage! Featuring stunning aerial silks, trapeze, and circus arts, this one-hour showcase is equal parts strength, artistry, and pure spectacle—perfect for all ages.

4:00PM – 5:00PM | Billy and the Box Kid

Billy and the Box Kid emerged as a duo in the Bend open mic scene when singer-songwriter Anderson Koenig (also known as Billy) and Scottie McClelland (the Box Kid) collided, both searching for an outlet for their musical talent. They combined Koenig’s fast-paced acoustic country Rock and Roll with McClelland’s high-energy and distinctive style of playing the Cajon aka “box drum”. The band has since expanded into a five-piece with the addition of Tommy Lutz on mandolin, Eric Nizol on lead guitar and Ben Woessner on bass. Along with other members of the Bend music community, they create a unique sound that’s ripe to keep your dancing feet moving. Their music is influenced by 1950s Rock and Roll, country, and bluegrass, with a hint of Southern blues. Their mission is to get folks out on the dance floor and stomping their feet.

The Family Fun Zone brings a burst of color, movement, and easygoing summer energy to the Bend Summer Festival! A place where families can wander through hands-on activities, sweet treats, and playful surprises all in one spot. Kids can bounce, climb, and explore with bounce houses and a climbing wall, while nearby interactive stations add even more ways to join in the fun. This year also features free flow arts classes from the High Desert Fire & Flow Artists, offering a light, beginner-friendly chance to try movement-based play with props like poi and hula hoops.

CERAMICS

Carrot Flower Creative: Works in mid-range stoneware and porcelain with a wide range of color. The work blends functional and sculptural forms while celebrating natural shapes and traditionally feminine decorative patterning.

Dana Bilello-Barrow Fine Ceramics: Focuses on finding balance between mud and fire while celebrating the movement and tactile quality of clay. Most work is finished using naked clay surface treatments.

Galaxyclay: Creates individually wheel-thrown porcelain vessels painted with underglaze and slip trailing techniques. Pieces are bisque fired and fired to cone 6, with mugs and sun catchers accented using 22k gold and mother-of-pearl luster.

Hawkeye Design: Creates wheel-thrown, altered, and hand-built porcelain pottery. Work is fired to cone 8 in oxidation and slow-cooled.

Lindsey Chandler Pottery: Begins each piece by forming raw clay on the pottery wheel, then finishes with carving and layered painting techniques. All glazes are self-formulated and fired in a home kiln.

Little Spirit Houses: Creates hand-built stoneware sculptures, each one unique. The pieces feature removable roofs to access included LED tea lights. Some are plug-in nightlights, and a few incorporate wood details.

Love for Pottery: Works with speckled buff and P-5 porcelain clay using cone 5 Amaco glazes. Serving platters are hand-formed from slab-rolled clay, while utensil holders, bacon cookers, and bowls are wheel-thrown.

LoveLeigh Creations: Creates utilitarian pottery using both electric and kick wheels. The pots are fired to cone 6, allowing for bright colors layered over sgraffito and surface textures added to each piece.

One Dream Design: Creates wheel-thrown and highly altered porcelain and stoneware forms using self-formulated, high-fired macrocrystalline glazes.

PDX Pots and Crafts: Wheel-throws marbled ceramics using various clays, often mixing four to seven different porcelain and stoneware clays while clear glazing only the interiors. All materials are food-safe and locally sourced.

Truly Sarah Ceramics: Creates wheel-thrown pottery using a sgraffito process to produce freehand surface designs. Colored glazes provide bold accents to the black-and-white imagery.

Tryst Studios: Works primarily on the wheel using a variety of stoneware clay bodies, exploring how function can lead form. Most pieces feature extensive hand-carved designs and textures.

FIBER

Michele Ballantyne Designs: Creates large, flowing fiber art using wool, silk, and other fibers assembled layer by layer through the ancient technique of wet felting.

MooseCarolQuilts: Creates quilts, large and small, from cotton fabrics using a sewing machine. The artist’s daughter also designs and hand-embroideres small art pieces that are shared within the booth.

sam + finn: Uses found materials to create a balance of pattern, texture, and value in unique home and personal accessories. Each piece carries its own aesthetic and vibrancy.

Vita Mista: Offers hand-embroidered hats and accessories alongside stylish ready-to-wear clothing. Some pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind, while others are carefully curated to complement the brand aesthetic.

GLASS

AD Glass & Design: Creates hand-blown glass using color layering and mixing techniques inspired by both classic and traditional glassmaking styles, from Swedish engraved imagery to Italian encalmo and surface decoration.

Art to Harmony: Creates functional fused glass art using several techniques including mosaics, baskets, pot and screen drops, and pattern bars.

Beaver State Glass: Specializes in kiln-formed and kiln-cast glass, a process that melts and fuses multiple pieces of glass together in a kiln before shaping them into plates, bowls, vases, and more.

Boise Art Glass: Applies ancient glassblowing traditions by heating glass to over 2,100 degrees and shaping each piece with steel and wooden tools.

Lucky Starz Studio: Creates fused glass fine art inspired by nature. Each scene is hand-cut and assembled without templates, fused at over 1,415 degrees, and finished with a custom-made backless wood frame or stand.

LuEltons Designs:Creates mosaic glass artwork using hand-cut stained glass arranged into layered designs that emphasize light, texture, and color flow.

Small Mountain Studios: As a newer artist in the medium, focuses on refining the discipline of off-hand glassblowing while fostering a stronger glassworking community.

JEWELRY

Ana Eugenia: Creates one-of-a-kind, handfabricated sterling silver jewelry using precious and semi-precious gems with simple, clean designs suitable for everyday wear.

Branch + Barrel: An artist-run jewelry company based in Bend, Oregon, creating designs that incorporate ethically and sustainably sourced wood and botanicals accented with resin and hand-forged metals.

Joy Road Jewelry: Creates mixed-metal jewelry using brass, copper, silver, and semi-precious gems with techniques including lapidary work, oxidizing, patina application, riveting, laser cutting, and wire wrappings.

Markita Rita Jewelry: Uses sterling silver sheet and wire alongside techniques including soldering, hammering, stamping, annealing, stone setting, and polishing.

Mountain Home Arts: Handcrafts sterling silver jewelry using self-mined stones and traditional metalsmithing techniques. Beadwork pieces are handwoven using refined stitching methods.

PoppyHill: Creates polymer clay jewelry inspired by nature. Colors are hand mixed, designs are cut and baked, then polished and assembled by hand in Bend.

Sabine Schran-Collings Contemporary Jewelry: Fabricates jewelry from sterling silver combined with 14k, 18k, and 22k gold and precious stones. Etching and roller-printing techniques give each one-of-a-kind piece unique texture.

Tyler Haas Designs: Hand fabricates silver and gold jewelry using traditional tools including torches, jewelers’ saws, anvils, and rotary tools. Natural stone cabochons are cut in-house.

Union Studio Metals: Creates hand-built jewelry using regional gemstones and metals to craft heirloom-quality pieces from a Bend, Oregon studio.

Wild Flowear: Uses wood, metal, resin, acrylic paint, leather cord, and plants from the artist’s garden to create layered landscape-inspired works finished in resin.

Burntwoods Forge: Creates nature-inspired sculptures and functional art using new and recycled steel. Each forged piece is made using both historical and modern blacksmithing techniques.

Elegant Garden Design / Rusty Birds: Creates metal garden art inspired by real-life flora and fauna. Pieces range from decorative rings and garden picks to fence-top silhouettes, finished with either natural rust patina or hand-painted details.

The Red Penguin: Uses upcycled materials welded, bolted, and wired together to create abstract, functional, and whimsical designs. Pieces may incorporate elements from bicycles, industrial equipment, automotive parts, and agricultural machinery.

Dried In Thyme: Creates artwork featuring hand-pressed flowers and natural elements arranged into clean, balanced compositions that highlight the quiet beauty of botanical materials.

Jen’s Wild Gourds: Creates whimsical animal characters from gourds using sculpting techniques with wire armatures and clay.

MelanieJade Fine Art LLC: Combines decorative paper underpaintings with multiple layers of ink, pencil, and paint to create rich colors, depth, and playful compositions.

Samo’s Bonsai & Gifts: Practices the art of bonsai through careful pruning of roots and branches to maintain miniature trees with natural proportions and form.

Twisted Sea: Creates shadow box artwork using Pacific Northwest driftwood, shells, and tumbled recycled art glass arranged into whale tails, hearts, and abstract coastal forms. All ocean materials are personally collected from Northwest shores.

Artimals Studio: Creates acrylic paintings featuring animals and nature with an emphasis on joyful emotion.

Art of Laura Koppes: Creates intuitive acrylic paintings on canvas enhanced with mixed media elements, exploring emotion and the search for order within chaos.

Canyon & Cove: Creates artwork using traditional methods beginning with hand drawing, followed by gouache painting on watercolor paper and finishing details with colored pencil and pastel.

Dave Fox Studio: Creates landscape and wildlife oil paintings using professional-grade oils on Belgian linen canvas. Original works and prints are finished with custom dark walnut shadowbox frames.

Girl Let Go Watercolor Studio: Uses negative space, nontraditional color mixing, and layered watercolor techniques to create vibrant landscape compositions inspired by the American West.

Hannah Jensen Creative: Uses oil and acrylic paint layered over contrasting underpaintings with precise yet expressive brushwork to create vivid landscapes often marked by whimsical guiding lines.

Jess Wyckoff Art: Creates modern folk art with layered acrylic painting techniques that add depth and texture. Each piece is framed using either vintage frames or handcrafted frames made by the artist’s husband.

Joachim McMillan: Creates imaginative works using palette knives to apply wet paint onto wet surfaces, blending colors directly on the canvas and scoring into the paint to create a mosaiclike effect.

Beautiful Oregon: Begins with careful study of the natural environment before capturing images with DSLR cameras. Work is presented as pigment giclée prints using archival papers and professional framing techniques.

The Carpenter’s Creation: Produces original photography on canvas finished with handbrushed clear gel coatings that add texture and depth. Each piece is framed with handmade distressed wood frames.

Christian Murillo Photography: nature photographer specializing in minimalist landscape photography printed on large-format metal

Cliff Baker Photography: landscape, deep-space, and water-drop photography. Offers signed and numbered limited-edition prints, puzzles, and tabletop displays.

Coxswain Press: Creates hand-carved linoleum block prints and greeting cards printed one color at a time on vintage letterpress machines.

Fennario Views: Captures landscape photography and digitally edits images to create painterly artistic interpretations, with a focus on Central Oregon and the Pacific Northwest.

Patrick Campbell Photography: Captures and processes images using Nikon digital cameras and Adobe software before printing on dye-sublimation metal, canvas, and photographic paper.

Paz Mendez Art: Begins with hand-drawn sketches on wood or linoleum blocks. After carving away negative space, oil-based ink is applied and hand-printed onto fine art paper.
