Dr. Jason Germundson Named Superintendent of Williston Basin School District #7 WILLISTON GRAPHIC STAFF

he Williston Basin School District #7 board voted in a special meeting Monday to appoint Dr. Jason Germundson as the district’s next superintendent. According to a March 25 press release from WBSD7, Germundson has served as interim superintendent since Jan.
1 following the resignation of Dr. Richard Faidley. Before stepping into that role, Germundson was promoted to assistant superintendent in 2024 after more than two decades as principal and assistant principal at Williston High School. "I am deeply honored to continue serving this wonderful community in the role of superintendent,” Germundson said in the release. “I am excited to build on our strong foundation
and work together with our dedicated staff, students and families to create even more success for our district." The selection process involved a committee of school board members, community representatives and district staff who ultimately recommended Germundson for the position.
