Joint Base-San Antonio (JBSA) is the largest joint base in the Department of Defense (DOD).

The Economic Development Council is comprised of private sector business leaders and key community stakeholders who advance critical industries and jobs across our region The Council is the one place where economic development leaders dissect trends to identify needs and opportunities for growth, while setting a solid foundation for the years ahead This group facilitates candid discussions on barriers to growth, examines options for public policy advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels, and focuses on business retention and expansion. The Small Business Council brings together entrepreneurs and advocates to advance the growth of small businesses across the region. The Council identifies challenges, explores solutions, and champions policies that support business success. The Council is committed to growing the industry, and ensuring we have a world-class workforce for decades to come This Council is the city’s most effective forum for cybersecurity and technology professionals and organizations seeking to enhance their capabilities, develop the next generation workforce, and improve the resiliency of our community
The Healthcare Council unites leaders across the healthcare and bioscience sectors to enhance collaboration, workforce development, and overall community well-being By connecting employers, educators, and community partners, the Council identifies industry needs and mobilizes resources to strengthen San Antonio’s healthcare talent pipeline.
Members work together to advance education, policy, and innovation that improve access to quality care and health outcomes for all residents. Through data-driven insights and shared best practices, we address workforce challenges and support long-term industry growth The Council serves as a vital forum for advancing a healthier, more resilient region
Since 1970, the Chamber has hosted its annual salute to the military in Military City, USA TM, which occurs in early to mid-November and involves more than 35 events The CAM Committee coordinates, executes, and promotes multiple events to highlight servicemen and women across all branches of service, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force and Coast Guard. All Chamber-led events are free to Active, Guard, and Reserve military service members, and showcase the great appreciation San Antonio has for their service and dedication This includes our invaluable military partners within Joint Base San Antonio
Ambassadors provide ceremonial assistance to members at commemorative events such as grand openings, re-dedications, and groundbreakings Participation as an Ambassador provides opportunities for business networking and community outreach
