2026.27 Concert Season

The Royal Conservatory’s 2026.27 concert season showcases the richness and diversity of today’s musical landscape. From classical masterworks to global showcases and distinguished academic performances, our stages celebrate artistry across genres and traditions. Canadian artists are proudly front and centre alongside international superstars.

In honour of the late Michael Koerner, we dedicate this season to his memory.

This season features a star-studded presentation of Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd in Concert and the return of the acclaimed ‘pop meets symphony’ series, Orchestrated, both featuring the Royal Conservatory Orchestra. We bring you our biggest piano recital series yet; chamber music in abundance; artists hailing from 30 countries; the tenth anniversary of our very own global music band, KUNÉ; and a jazz series marking the centenaries of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Of course, concerts by our outstanding students and faculty are featured throughout the season.

A very fond farewell!

As many of you know, after many deeply rewarding years, I have decided to conclude my tenure as Executive Director, Performing Arts. Since opening Koerner Hall in 2009, I have had the rare joy of welcoming over 1,500 concerts featuring extraordinary artists and experiencing countless unforgettable musical moments. In the coming season (our 18th!) I will be able to enjoy many of the concerts I have programmed as an audience member with you. Knowing that we can be together, listening and exploring, makes this work endlessly meaningful.

A limited number of Rush Tickets are available starting 3 hours before all performances presented by The Royal Conservatory. They are limited to 2 tickets per person. Seat locations are assigned at the discretion of the box office. Rush Tickets are available by phone only, on a first come first served basis.

Listening Room

You are welcome to request seats in our Listening Room in Koerner Hall, separate from the main audience. The Listening Room is for people with sensory considerations to enjoy the concert away from the crowd, in a scent free environment, where the volume can be controlled as the concert is watched through a glass window.

Gift certificates are available for purchase in any denomination and can be redeemed for concert or event tickets at The Royal Conservatory either online, in person, or by phone.

All ticket prices already include HST and service charges –no additional fees are added. All ticket sales are final. No refunds or cancellations. Exchanges for Royal Subscribers are permitted up to 48 hours before the performance and are subject to a fee. Artists, dates, and programs are subject to change without notice.
