Itenableswardstostartthedispensing processforTTO’sbyupdatingPTS5tosay thepatientisleavingandweneedthe TTO’s.

Wewerenotedfor aligningwithTrustgoals, embeddingsatisfaction intoourservice,having planstomanagechange, andacultureof continuousimprovement.

UpdatestothewayEDChromebookPC’sconnectto WiFhaveprovidedasignificantboostinperformance, andmostimportantly,reliability.

We’retakingperformanceonestepfurtherwiththe rolloutofWindows11onVDI.Completelyrebuiltwe haveanewVirtualDesktopthatisfasterandmore secure.

Thefirststartupofthedayisalwaysslowerasthingsareloadedinto memory,butunderWindows11aworkabledesktopisaround20%,anda fullworkingPCwithCareflowEPRis30%faster.

PatientCheckInSystem

Outpatientselfcheck-inhasbeenavaluedpartoftheOutpatientservice formanyyearsanditprovidesmuchneededcapacitywhenlotsofpatients arearriving.

AtHealthontheHighStreetwehave asharedwaitingareaandanew callsystemthatwe’vedevelopedto helpdirectpatientstothecorrect location.

Asit’sbuiltbyuswecanlinkintoCareflow togetthelatestpatientandclinicinformationandareabletocontinuallyoptimise thingsasservicesgetusedtothisnewway ofworking.

Thesystemwasdemonstratedtostaffandthefeedbackwasextremely positive We’llbemonitoringasthesystemgoeslivetomakefinaltweaks

VirtualSmartCards

There’sahugeamountofchangehappeningintermofsecurityandaccesstocore NHSServiceswhereTwoFactorAuthenticationwillberequired.Aspartofthiswe haveupdatedthesystemswhichsupportourVirtualSmartCards.

PartofthisistheportalwhereVirtualSmartCardsareissuedtobankandlocum staff,aswellasthosewho’velostedaccessforwhateverreason

Wetookthesecurityupdatesas anopportunitytorebuildthe portalfromwhichweissue VirtualSmartCards.

We’vebuiltthesystemonthelatesttechnologytoensureitissecure,runsfaster andiseasiertomaintaingoingforward.Feedbackhasbeenpositiveandwe’ll continuetobuildsecureandstablesystemsonthesenewfoundations.
