This year’s Winter Tour concert will present a mix of long-established Fairport favourites and some surprises from albums old and new including Full House which was released 50 years ago this year. The band skilfully interprets traditional ballads and the repertoire also includes plenty of contemporary compositions.

Lindsay Martin & The Nouvelle House Band Lindsay and her band have been performing together since 2017, starting off as an acoustic jazz trio before growing to their current five piece line up. The group blend traditional renditions of songs from The Great American Songbook with updated and fresh takes on classic jazz and Latin repertoire. Their set is also influenced by midtwentieth century songwriters and soundtrack music and will include songs inspired by Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughan, Joni Mitchell and Blossom Dearie. Frankie's Guys: A Celebration of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Down for the Count are a mini big band with an electrifying show full of incredible energy and musicianship. Described as “a breath of fresh air on the swing scene”, they are now regularly found at jazz clubs in the UK and abroad. The band recreate classic tunes from the Swing Era, breathing new life into the best vintage music. Battle Of The Bands Tewkesbury's Big Weekend and The Roses are teaming up to offer one talented band the opportunity of a lifetime: a 45 minute set at popular local festival Lakefest in August 2020, plus a professional photoshoot and £250 cash prize.
Like 70s music? You’ll love this. Reviving the golden age of pop, this is the the latest live concert show from the creators of The Magic Of Motown. This fantastic show is packed with glamrock greats, disco hits, power ballads and party anthems from Sweet, T-Rex, Queen, Elton John, 10CC, David Essex, Suzi Quatro, David Cassidy, ELO, The Carpenters, The Osmonds, The Bay City Rollers and more, all performed by a super-cool band whose members have performed with Mike Oldfield, Asia and Ultravox.
To enter Battle Of The Bands, bands need to submit a video by Friday 31 January. The six top bands shortlisted will be invited to perform a 15 minute set, which will be judged by a panel of industry professionals, with the overall winner being announced at the end of the evening.

Exhibitions Tewkesbury School The work on display has been created by Year 9 Art and Textiles students from Tewkesbury School. Using this year's pantomime as inspiration, students have taken Aladdin, Arabian Nights and Islamic art as source material. The Textiles group have been looking at costumes and geometric patterns using tie dye and reverse applique to create waistcoats and haram style wrap trousers. The Art students have been using Islamic architecture as inspiration to develop mixed media pieces. We hope to display a selection of work from a range of ability students who are all looking forward to displaying their creations for you.

A postage charge of £1 per booking applies if you wish to have your tickets posted to you. You can avoid this charge by collecting your tickets from the Box Office. A voluntary contribution will be requested with each transaction to help secure the future of The Roses.
Reservations & Refunds
Reservations: Payment is required for reserved tickets within 3 days of the reservation, or 3 days prior to the date of the event, whichever is the soonest. Any reserved tickets not paid for by this time will be released. Exchanges: At our discretion, tickets can be exchanged for a different performance of the same event. An administration fee of £2 per ticket applies. We do not offer exchanges on tickets for different events. Refunds: We do not offer refunds on any tickets unless the event is cancelled or postponed. If you are unable to attend a performance, and the performance is sold out, we will offer to resell your tickets and credit your account. Members may be credited on performances that they are unable to attend provided we are notified prior to the event.
Families £2 off adult tickets for all parties of 3 - 9 when the group includes at least one child. Each party must include at least one person under the age of 16 and one adult. We do not charge for children under the age of 3, provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. 16-25s A limited number of seats are available at £5 off the advertised price across any live event that offers concessions (excludes Price Band C on banded events and excludes pantomime).
