Every ad you see is from our rapidly growing Business Patron scheme – a wonderful group of people and their businesses who are as excited about The Roses' work as we are.

Alongside our donors they are essential to our survival. Even if we sold out all our tickets for live shows (and we’re not far off – get your panto tickets quick as we are already at record breaking numbers) we would only make 60% of the money we need to run the venue. This may seem a little shocking but we actually do really well – the Royal Shakespeare Company makes only 43% from ticket sales, and the National Theatre just 18%! So charitable fundraising is crucial, and if you have the ability to give beyond a ticket (which we are also very grateful for), we’d be thrilled to hear from you. Support The Roses Did you know that even if The Roses sold out every performance, ticket sales would not cover running costs? This is because up to 80% of the money we earn from ticket sales goes straight to the producers, artists, and film distributors. This is why The Roses is a charity. Our mission is to bring joy through the performances we put on our stage and our community work which includes everything from creative sessions for children with autism, our groundbreaking Roses Young Creatives, singing groups for those with dementia and mental health issues, and weekly social events for isolated adults. If you would like to support The Roses to bring joy, create a place to call home for the community, and inspire the next generation of artists there are lots of ways to do this.

We have also curated our drink offerings and now serve a sophisticated selection of wines, local real ales and ciders, plus a tempting non-alcoholic and soft drink range. Booking in advance to reserve your table is essential. Drink & Draw FOURTH TUE OF EVERY MONTH 7.30–9.30PM We are excited to be partnering with local art tutor Melissa Turland to bring you Drink & Draw! Singing for Wellbeing

Join us for a friendly, fun and inclusive group singing session that helps to support lung health. This will be a supportive and non judgemental session where the singing serves as a way to help manage lung health using warm ups, breathing exercises, relaxation exercises and songs. You don’t need to have sung before and you can participate at your own pace. We’ll breathe together, sing together and laugh together too!

A friendly group singing session using music for relaxation and enjoyment. No experience is necessary and you don’t need to be able to read music. We will learn energising and meaningful songs together alongside relaxation exercises, breathing exercises and fun vocal warm-ups.
