hen my sister and I started this magazine, we agreed on one thing: we didn’t want to work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day just to be successful. I then proceeded to work for the next 365 days for roughly 24 hours a day (okay, maybe a few hours more occasionally) in order to bring our vision into reality. Ladies, if you didn’t already know it, let me be the first to tell you: 24/7 entrepreneurship isn’t just unrealistic (because: sleep), it’s downright dangerous (because: burnout). Hustling leads to the exact opposite result that we want. Success comes from sustainable goals, steady growth, and sleep. Lots and lots of sleep. Or rest, or self-care, or whatever makes you feel human again at the end of a long day. Possibility, to me, is the opposite of hustling because possibility invites EASE. Possibility means deciding what you want to do while being open to something better.

Amanda is a photographer and artist specializing in portrait, wedding, and lifestyle photography. She grew up in central MA and recently moved to CT. She loves helping people create memories by capturing authentic, natural moments and personalities and celebrating real moments in every day life. This is Amanda's 3rd cover shoot for The Perpetual You.
Jen is a happy photographer, who lives in a 1926 fixer upper in Jacksonville, Florida with her hubby and two fur babies. Her favorite place is the front porch and she's happiest on days spent at the sea. Despite a thoughtfully curated social media persona, she's most grateful for the messy beauty of her real life.
