





























CORY ALAN AMES
FRANCESVILLE, IN - Cory Alan Ames, 53, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 12, 2026 at IU Health Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born March 3, 1972 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Dillar and Patricia (Chester) Ames, Jr. On December 4, 1999 in Francesville, he married Susan Ingram.
Cory was a 1990 graduate of West Central High School. After high school, he served in the US Army. He was currently employed as a fuel driver for Keystone in Rensselaer, Indiana. He had a passion for driving truck. He was loved by many and always willing to help others. He loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Susan, three sons: Dylan (Fiancée Hayley Smith) Ingram of Medaryville, Indiana, Christopher (Hailey) Ames and Hunter (Anna) Ames, both of Francesville, two grandchildren, his parents, Dillar and Patricia Ames, Jr. of Francesville and two sisters: Amy Looney of Medaryville and April (Steve) Young of Lafayette, Indiana.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the West Central Athletic Department.

GREG A. NEFF
MICHIGAN CITY, IN - Greg A. Neff, 67, died Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in Michigan City, Indiana. He was born March 25, 1958 in Knox, Indiana to the late Lloyd Neff and Annabelle (Bottorff) Bailey.
Greg enjoyed eating at the Sugar Bowl and riding his Harley. He loved driving truck and visiting his friends and spending time with his family. He was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by one son, Keith (Kelly) Neff of Westville, Indiana, one daughter, Amber (Earnest) Ratliff of Sandyhook, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and siblings: Gary Bailey of San Pierre, Indiana, David Bailey of Pryor, Oklahoma, Selena (Tmothy) Chapman of DeMotte, Indiana and Connie Kolasa of Michigan City, Indiana. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gordon Lee Cox.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 24 from 1-4pm at the Knox VFW. Interment will be at a later date in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox, Indiana.
Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox.
JOSEPH EDWARD BRASSARD
PULASKI, IN - Joseph Edward Brassard, 59, died Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Winamac, Indiana. He was born on June 23, 1966 in Beaufort, South Carolina to the late George Edward and Marie Anne (Bouthot) Brassard. Joseph was a skilled journeyman electrician. He loved spending time on the water with friends and family and playing guitar and harmonica. He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Brassard, one granddaughter and siblings: Michael James (Lydia) Brassard, Patricia Ann (Earl) Ruckdeschel, John Martin (Sandra) Brassard and Suzanne Marie Kiest.
No services will be held per Joseph’s wishes. Private burial will take place in the Winamac Cemetery.

RAYMOND J. FRANKO
WINAMAC, IN - Raymond J. Franko, 75, died Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was born June 25, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Raymond W. and Mary C. (Kaminski) Franko. On June 25, 1989, he married Kathy Schramm. Raymond was a Boilermaker for US Steel in Gary, Indiana and later served as a deputy sheriff for White County. He loved working outdoors and taking care of his property, golfing and spending time with his family. He was an avid Cubs, Bears and Purdue basketball fan. Raymond was very involved with the Winamac Area Planning Board, Shriner’s, Indiana Freemasons, Fraternal Order of Police and previously drove the Shriner’s van.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, children: Raymond (Katherine) Franko, Rebecca (Nate) Johanningsmeir, Richard (Sarah) Franko and Rachael Franko, five grandchildren and siblings: Mary Franko and Joseph (Deborah) Franko.
A celebration of life will be held at the VFW Winamac Post #1728 on Sunday, January 25 from 1-5pm. Memorials may be made to the Winamac VFW Post #1728.

PAUL E. OLS
KNOX, IN - Paul E. Ols, 87, died Sunday, January 18, 2026 in Walkerton, Indiana. He was born November 21, 1938 in Knox, Indiana to the late Chris and Pauline (Fisher) Ols.
Paul was the former caretaker of Round Lake Cemetery. He enjoyed collecting guns and spending time with his family. He was retired from Winamac Steel.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Ols of Lakeville, Indiana, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two sisters: Jean Phistry and Jane Ols, both of Knox. He was preceded in death by siblings: Chris and John Ols, Betty Hollandsworth, Patty Matzat, Dolly Matzat, Joan Ols and Mary Ann Shoeder.
No services will be held at this time. Interment will be in the Round Lake Cemetery in Knox at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.

DAVID C. ALLEN
MONTEREY, IN - David C. Allen, 79, died Thursday, January 8, 2026. He was born March 7, 1946 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Basil and Catharine Allen.
Dave was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Collins-Tasch American Legion Post #399 in Monterey, Indiana. He had worked for CenturyLink in Knox, Indiana for over 40 years.
He enjoyed Notre Dame sports, Cubs baseball, playing golf, mowing the grass and camping with his kids. He will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife, Pat, children: Jennifer Allen, Brian Allen and Lisa (Ron) Owens, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a great grandson on the way, two brothers: Tom (Kathy) and Sam (Carla) Allen and two sisters: Sue (Dick) Winters and Mary (Jim) Shank. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Kusturin. Services were held Friday, January 16 at th Odom Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Anne’s Cemetery in Monterey. Memorials may be made to Collins-Tasch American Legion Post #399 in Monterey.

JEAN ANN BUTTON
WINAMAC, IN - Jean Ann Button, 75, died Monday, January 12, 2026 after a brief illness. She was born July 29, 1950 in Winamac, Indiana to the late Walter L. and Eva Jane (Elliot) Drach. On April 13, 1973, she married Robert E. “Bob” Button. He died March 22, 2007. Jean was a graduate of Winamac High School and attended Ball State University and Elkhart Institute of Technology obtaining a degree in medical technology. She had worked at Winamac High School for many years as a lunch lady. She enjoyed gardening, baking, reading and taking care of her kittens.
She is survived by two sons: Jack D. Button and Rod L. (Janine) Button, four granddaughters, several great grandchildren and siblings: Mary Wagner and Walter E. “Junior” (Catherine) Drach. She was preceded in death by one son, Vince E. Button and one brother, Bob Drach.
Per Jean’s wishes, there will be no services. Private burial will take place in the Winamac Cemetery (McKinley Addition). Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Pulaski County Public Library or the Pulaski Animal Center.

MARY FELKER
WINAMAC, IN - Mary Felker, 86, died Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Pulaski Health Care Center in Winamac, Indiana. She was born August 24, 1939 in Winamac to the late Hurbert and Margaret (Winters) Moise. On October 29, 1966 in Winamac, she married Jack Felker. He died February 15, 2010.
Mary and Jack enjoyed taking their family camping, fishing and vacationing. She loved gardening, birdwatching, playing badminton, watching tennis, cooking, baking and crafting. She loved her family very much.
She is survived by two sons: Eddie (Shari) Felker and Gary Felker, both of Winamac, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one great grandson, Owen Abbott and one brother, George Moise. Private burial will take place at the Winamac Cemetery (McFarland Addition). The family will host a celebration of life at a later date. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
