Memorial Opera House —
New look for 131-year-old landmark LOCAL LANDMARK — Although much of the work was done on the interior of the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso, the exterior looks much like it did when it opened in 1893. The restored landmark remains the home for theatrical productions, concerts, meetings and other social events.
FRIENDLY CONFINES— Zachary Mullins, marketing coordinator for Memorial Opera House stands in the refurbished balcony lounge area. The main level lounge area was also renovated.
LONG VIEW — This panoramic shot from the balcony shows the stage and main level seating areas of the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso. Opened in 1893, the theater has seating for 325.
