The two-year, $5 million project was finished in 2020, but thanks to COVID restrictions has not yet been fully utilized to its intended purposes. The theater is now under the new
leadership of Executive Director Susan Visser, who brings 48 years of nonprofit experience to the job. Her career to this point has been spent working in four museums, including the last 34 years as executive director of the South Bend Museum of Art. Since she began her new gig in January 2022, she added Robert Tombari as the theater’s program manager, rounding out her team of four, which also includes Technical Director Jerry Peters and Continued on page 3
