With scenic beauty, Estes Park prides itself on quality of life Estes Park, Colo., may be a suburb of Denver, but it holds its own when it comes to livability and other factors.

Estes Park is situated in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at an elevation of 7,522 feet on the Big Thompson River. It’s the eastern entrance and headquarters of Rocky Mountain National Park, while Roosevelt National Forest adjoins the town on the north, east and south. (Photo by Eric Rose)
