the scenes were pleased to share that all will return to normal once school begins Aug. 17 for the 2026 fall semester at Oklahoma State University.
The intention behind the construction was to improve the garage’s overall condition and ensure the safety of visitors for years to come. Originally,
construction was set to begin in late 2020, but due to other projects, it was pushed to May 2026.

Staff Reports On July 28, 2026, Gov. Kevin Stitt announced Oklahoma’s potential selection of the United States Department of Energy (DOE) to host an original Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campus. Oklahoma is one of five finalists in being considered of what will be the first of its kind innovation. The campuses are intended to be the hubs for the future of nuclear research and development, which will add to Oklahoma’s energy abundance agenda and in return, open doors for research into possible uses of nuclear technology, along with biotech and aerospace applications.
