MV STUDIOS: ARTS CAMP | RISING K - G5
We are excited to launch our first-ever MV Studios Summer Arts Camp. An immersive, week-long experience intentionally designed for learners to express themselves through theatre, dance, visual arts, maker, design, and music. Campers will act, sing, and tell stories through theatre workshops; explore movement and choreography; design and create in visual arts studios; prototype and build in maker labs with puppetry, props, costumes, and set design; experiment with sound and rhythm; and develop creative confidence through mindfulness and process-based routines.
Each session will be led by MV faculty and staff whose passions and expertise in the arts will shape the camp’s offerings.
MOD 5, MVSO | RISING GRADES 9 - 12
Mod 5 offers a chance to get ahead in coursework, explore personal interests, or open up space in future schedules. Dive into Physics, Geometry, or Health to strengthen critical skills or focus on wellness and earn your EADAP cer tificate. Whatever your goals, Mod 5 has a course for you!

AMP CAMP | RISING PK5 - GRADE 5
Join us for AMP Camp, Mount Vernon’s summer day camp! This year, we will be traveling around the world in three weeks, exploring Asia (Week 1), Africa (Week 2), and Europe (Week 3). AMP Camp offers moments of art, adventure, making, music, mindfulness, play, problem-solving, and project design. Campers have a unique experience to engage in interconnected learning and fun. We will embark on expeditions in Atlanta each week, connected to our weekly themes, and engage in on-site activities filled with wonder and excitement.
We are open to all Mount Vernon Families, including siblings and faculty children who may not be enrolled at Mount Vernon.

Is your middle schooler tired of being the oldest child at the same old summer camps that they have been attending for years?
Come participate in one of our Middle School-only “Get Out of the House” retreats planned with some of our favorite Mount Vernon Middle School teachers and coaches. Select a half-day or all-day option to hang out, where the focus will be on having FUN by building relationships with teachers and coaches and participating in engaging and exciting activities.

LOWER SCHOOL LITERACY BOOST | RISING K
Join us for an engaging four-day experience designed especially for rising Kindergarten students as we embark on an exciting journey into the world of reading and writing! Throughout this adventure, children will explore the building blocks of early literacy, including letter recognition, phonemic awareness, and beginning sound-letter connections.
Through playful, hands-on activities and interactive games, students will practice blending sounds to make words, identify “red words” they can read by sight, and grow their confidence as emerging readers and writers.

Join us for an immersive four-day review tailored for rising Grade 4 students, where we embark on an exciting journey into the Math Curriculum. MIDDLE SCHOOL LITERACY BOOST | RISING G6
This four-day preparatory course is designed to help learners start the 2026–2027 school year with confidence and a strong academic foundation. Students will begin by becoming familiar with the Toddle learning management system, ensuring they can easily navigate digital assignments and classroom resources. The course will cover key strategic reading comprehension strategies to help learners analyze and understand complex texts effectively. In addition, students will focus on sentence construction— learning to identify and correct incomplete or faulty sentences, as well as build more sophisticated compound and complex sentences. Learners will practice answering comprehension questions based on assigned readings, reinforcing both understanding and written expression. Together, these activities will support a smooth and successful transition into middle school.
