Sheffield’s Out of This World to return this weekend Newport Road, North Cave,
Sheffield’s much-loved Out of This World event is set to make a spectacular return to the city centre on Sunday 26 October, celebrating its 11th year. Attracting thousands of children and adults alike each year, Out of This World transforms Sheffield into a playground of imagination, bringing together sci-fi, fantasy, comic book, gaming and Halloween themes across the city’s most iconic spaces. Visitors can expect a packed programme of street entertainment, live demonstrations, comic characters, fancy dress competitions, family activities, fairground rides, street food stalls and much more. The Winter Garden, Tudor Square and Peace
Gardens will once again host the ever-popular sci-fi, comic book, gaming and fantasy areas, while the Halloween Zone will spread its spooky magic across Town Hall Square, the Peace Gardens, Pinstone and Surrey Street. At Millennium Square and the Peace Gardens, guests will be able to step into a world of magic and illusion, with some of the UK’s best magicians and illusionists performing throughout the day. Aspiring young witches and wizards can learn magic spells, design and make their own wands, and take part in interactive workshops. “Events like Out of This World not only bring our communities together to celebrate joyous
