The sea has always represented discovery as a gateway to new cultures, new ideas, and new perspectives.
In luxury, true value is not measured solely by the rarity of what we possess, but by the depth of the experiences that shape us. The modern traveler no longer seeks only destinations; they seek meaning, authenticity, and moments that redefine their understanding of the world.
In this issue, we celebrate that spirit of exploration. From remarkable journeys and visionary brands to the individuals shaping the future of luxury hospitality, travel, and lifestyle, each story invites us to look beyond the horizon and rediscover the art of curiosity.

While white diamonds stand as the undisputed kings of gemstones, colored gems introduce a vibrant, imaginative language all their own. They transform the art of watchmaking into a rich tapestry of creativity, drawing from an extensive gemstone chart and crafting a kaleidoscope of precious hues. Like the art of rhyming and flow, the use of colored gemstones requires expertise, energy, and a daring spirit.

The art of using colored gemstones in watchmaking was forever transformed by a groundbreaking phenomenon: the emergence of multicolored sapphires.
Once known exclusively for their iconic blue hue, sapphires now span a dazzling spectrum of colors, including green, yellow, pink, orange, purple, and gray. The only color absent is red—because rubies are red sapphires by nature.
Blue sapphires remain the legacy icons of their family, but icy blue sapphires have emerged as a compelling counterpart, offering a cool, emotive brilliance.
Orange sapphires transition from light apricot to deep amber, while yellow sapphires range from pale gold to vibrant lemon. Green sapphires, while unable to achieve the depth of emeralds, provide a world of creative possibilities that have made them indispensable in modern watch design.
TSAVORITES AND EMERALDS: GREEN’S EVOLVING ROLE IN WATCHMAKING
Emeralds, historically revered as symbols of opulence, present unique challenges when incorporated into watches. Their natural brittleness and sensitivity make them ill-suited for the rigorous demands of bezels and cases.
Even the innovative invisible setting cannot fully shield them from potential vulnerabilities. To overcome this, Jacob & Co. has embraced tsavorites, a rare type of garnet with a luminous, deep green hue. These gems offer a durable and vibran

alternative, embodying both beauty and reliability—a perfect match for the precision of haute horology as testified by the Brilliant Baguette collection.
Rubies, with their iconic red hue, hold a special place as the most prized colored gemstone. Red remains a uniquely symbolic color and the specific signature of the ruby. A watch with rubies is of the highest rarity, as they are so prized they’re generally destined for high jewelry use.
The combination of high watchmaking and high jewelry crafts will therefore view them as uniquely valuable, both as a means of prestige and creativity. If they didn’t undergo any color-altering heat treatment, they become the cream of the crop of today’s gems.
The very existence of such a timepiece as Billionaire III Rubies, which is entirely set with 147 carats of all-natural, non-heated rubies defies all expectations.
If white diamond is the undisputed reigning king, then yellow diamonds are the emperors of jewel colors. Of all types of precious stones used in watchmaking, it is the most demanding in quality and exclusive. Its color range is wide and only the most vivid hues are really prized.
Sitting precisely between a too light, diluted yellow and a too brown hue, only the Fancy Yellow and Fancy Intense Yellow are worthy of being included in Jacob & Co.’s creations, such as Billionaire Timeless Treasure.
Jacob & Co. has cultivated an intimate and uniquely creative rapport with different colored gemstones. Color is a profound means of creativity and an integral part of the Jacob & Co. design language, especially in watchmaking. The brand doesn’t just use every gem in the rainbow—it transforms them into artistic masterpieces.
On top of using every single colored gem available, the brand also plays with different multicolored arrangements, such as the rare and elusive camo setting, inspired by streetwear and the art of crossing design borders. The Arlequino setting is a tribute to Italy’s legacy theater character and his colorful attire.
And the Rainbow setting, which has proven fantastically sought-after in gem-set watches, has become a specialty of Jacob & Co. All three demand the procurement of perfectly matching sets of colorful precious gemstones, offering a precisely mastered tone progression, a sure sign of extremely fine expertise.
By combining the artistry of high jewelry with the technical mastery of haute horology, Jacob & Co. continues to redefine what’s possible in watchmaking.
The use of colored gemstones is not merely an embellishment but a cornerstone of the brand’s creative vision, ensuring each timepiece tells a story as rich and vivid as the gems it bears.

A daring fusion of Art Deco elegance and modern innovation, the Neo Frame Jumping Hour watch revives a historic complication dating back to 1650, where numbers leap every 60 minutes in place of traditional hands.
Powered by Calibre 7122, this timepiece introduces the Audemars Piguet’s first selfwinding jumping hour movement, combining precision, shock resistance, and a 52-hour power reserve, enhanced by Haute Horlogerie finishing.

Blending horological mastery with vintage aesthetics, the Neo Frame Jumping Hour reimagines 1930s elegance with an entirely novel construction, distinguishable by its pink gold and sapphire case adorned with gadroons and aerodynamic lugs. Its black sapphire dial with dual apertures and bespoke assembly reflects modern craftsmanship, completed by a textured calfskin strap for timeless sophistication.

The Neo Frame Jumping Hour is a nod to Audemars Piguet’s pioneering role in developing the first jumping hour watches in the 1920s. Back then, the glass was so fragile that it had to be protected by metal. Today, it is rendered in sapphire, which takes centre stage.

SHE is more than a yacht; she is a statement of enduring style.
Measuring 25.5 metres, this refined creation pays homage to the elegance and tradition of Italian yachtmaking while embracing a contemporary vision of luxury. An acronym for Sanlorenzo Heritage, SHE embodies the shipyard’s philosophy of refinement and renewal, honouring a storied legacy while confidently charting a course toward the future.
Designed by Sanlorenzo in collaboration with Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners, SHE distils over 70 years of craftsmanship into a singular expression of form, function, and beauty. Every line and detail reflects an uncompromising pursuit of balance, restraint, and authenticity - the hallmarks of true luxury.
“SHE is a celebration of Italian yachting artistry,” says Nick Hatfield, Managing Director of Sanlorenzo Yachts UK. “She reflects everything that defines Sanlorenzo: elegance that never shouts, innovation that respects tradition, and design conceived to endure.”

Her exterior silhouette recalls the effortless grace of 1960s yachts, reinterpreted through the lens of contemporary architectural precision. Clean, minimalist lines and perfectly judged proportions create a visual harmony that feels both nostalgic and resolutely contemporary.
Inside, SHE evokes the atmosphere of a sophisticated Milanese residence. Rich mahogany finishes, muted textiles, and sculptural furnishings establish a dialogue between heritage and modernity. The interior design by Piero Lissoni is calm and considered - understated, tactile, and quietly expressive.

Every detail is intentional, resulting in a serene, timeless sanctuary on the water.
Full-height glazing floods the interiors with natural light, dissolving boundaries between inside and out. At the stern, a sea-level terrace extends the living space, offering a seamless connection with the water, while the cockpit provides an elegant setting for dining, relaxation, or entertaining.
The yacht’s internal architecture unfolds across three levels, unified by a circular staircase. The main salon forms the social heart of the vessel, while a mezzanine
level below houses the dining area and galley, balancing privacy with functional flow.
On the lower deck, three en-suite cabins - including a full-beam owner’s suite - reflect the philosophy of quiet luxury through exceptional materials, meticulous craftsmanship, and spatial clarity.
Beneath her timeless exterior lies advanced innovation. SHE is the first Sanlorenzo to feature Volvo Penta’s hybrid IPS propulsion system, combining diesel and electric power for increased
efficiency, reduced emissions, and near-silent cruising. This technology exemplifies Sanlorenzo’s commitment to responsible innovation - enhancing comfort while deeply respecting the environment.
In an era of excess, SHE stands apart. She is a design manifesto for those who value discretion over display, heritage over trend, and luxury that endures.

Aston Martin and Breitling ignite a shared legacy
Breitling has been announced as Official Watch Partner of ultra luxury British automotive manufacturer Aston Martin, marking a compelling collaboration between two brands born from a fascination with speed and a meticulous attention to detail. Aston Martin and Breitling have joined forces to re-establish a connection that has been shared throughout history, with their stories moving in parallel for over a century.
The collaboration will span the worlds of design, engineering, and speed, culminating in the launch of its first timepiece in Q3 2026.
CEO of Aston Martin. “The partnership is a perfect showcase of excellence, design mastery and performance, something that is integral to everything that Aston Martin puts its name to.”
By the 1960s, both marques had become symbols of style and modern engineering. Willy Breitling, the founder’s grandson, shook off the austerity of postwar watchmaking with another watch, the Top Time, a chronograph made for a new generation of speed- and style-seekers. When it appeared on Sean Connery’s wrist in Thunderball (1965) as the first Q-modified gadget watch in the James Bond franchise, it became an emblem of the era.
“Aston Martin builds cars that are as much about presence as performance,” says Georges Kern, CEO of Breitling. “We share that same heritage of iconic design: every line, finish, and proportion has purpose. Nothing is left to chance.”
Parallels between the two brands date back to the earliest days of the automobile. In 1907, Leon Breitling introduced the Vitesse. French for “speed,” it was the first chronograph to measure speeds up to 250 miles or kilometers per hour. The device was so precise it was adopted by Swiss police to issue the first speeding tickets. A few years later in England, Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford were testing their hand-built sports car in a defining race up a steep, chalky slope – Aston Hill. The car won, and the name endured.
“Aston Martin and Breitling have crossed paths at key moments in design and culture,” says Adrian Hallmark,
Aston Martin’s DB5, which made its debut in Goldfinger (1964) and returned in Thunderball, did the same on four wheels. Appearing together in the same film, they captured the cultural fascination with James Bond’s world, where sophistication met speed and high-tech intrigue.
As this shared legacy continues to evolve, fans of Breitling, Aston Martin, and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team can look forward to exclusive releases throughout the partnership’s multi-year run, which launches with the Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Aston Martin Formula One™ Team, a timepiece that marks Breitling’s return to racing.

The creative ethos at Bugatti has always been about pushing boundaries. From the pioneering performance of the Veyron to the extraordinary speed of the Chiron Super Sport and the uncompromising character of the Bolide, Bugatti has always created hypercars that defy convention. With these additions, four different Bugatti LEGO® models will be available simultaneously for the first time, alongside the LEGO® Speed Champions Bugatti Centodieci and LEGO® Technic™ Bugatti Bolide, extending the Bugatti experience with fans around the world.

Crafted for those who demand an adrenaline thrill, the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is geared towards agility and precision. Lighter than its siblings and designed with optimized aerodynamics and shorter gear ratios, it stands as the most dynamic expression of the Chiron family, built for drivers who live for winding roads. The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo occupies a unique place in the brand’s history. Conceived as a pure concept car for the Gran Turismo video game and unveiled as a show car in 2015, it represents Bugatti’s tribute to its illustrious racing heritage of the 1920s and 1930s. Drawing inspiration from icons such as the Type 57 Tank and its victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1937 and 1939, the Vision Gran Turismo was created as a thoroughbred Bugatti for the virtual racetrack.
That bold Bugatti vision has now been transformed into an official LEGO® set. The LEGO® Speed Champions Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo celebrates this distinctive design through 284 pieces, capturing the aesthetic that made it an icon in the virtual racing world. Created for passionate Bugatti fans, it embodies a genuine Bugatti down to the last detail, reflecting the brand’s unrestricted values.

The LEGO® model faithfully recreates the defining features of the Vision Gran Turismo: the signature horseshoe front grille, the dramatic rear wing, the distinctive 8-eye headlights, a sculpted roof fin and wide tires imprinted with ‘Michelin’. A minifigure wearing a Bugatti outfit completes the set, ready to take position in the

single-seat cockpit. Measuring over 1.5 inches (4 cm) high, 5.5 inches (14 cm) long and 3 inches (8 cm) wide, this model makes the Vision Gran Turismo accessible to fans and gamers of all ages.
“Our collaboration with the LEGO Group continues to grow in exciting ways. With four different Bugatti models – the Chiron Pur Sport, Vision Gran Turismo, Centodieci and Bolide – available simultaneously for the first time, we are sharing the essence of what makes Bugatti special with collectors of all ages. Each model tells a different story about our brand and inspires the next generation of enthusiasts. Expanding our audience from a select group of hypercar owners to millions of fans, gamers and performance aficionados
makes this project particularly fun. It is one we thoroughly enjoyed bringing to life.”

The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class: New drivetrains, lighting technology and suspension
By refining drivetrain technology, suspension control, and lighting systems, Mercedes‑Benz has enhanced every aspect of the S‑Class driving experience. The result is serene calm paired with effortless power delivery ensuring agility, composure and the highest levels of safety and comfort on every journey.
New state-of-the-art drivetrains: Meticulous refinement in technology
The new S Class sets a new benchmark for powertrain sophistication, offering a range of state of the art engines that combine performance, efficiency and refinement. At the pinnacle of the line up is the latest evolution of the V8 engine, the M 177 Evo24F, available in the Mercedes‑Benz S 580 4MATIC Saloon long version.
This engine delivers 395 kW (537 hp) and 750 Nm of torque, available across a broad rev range from 2,500 to 4,500 rpm. Thanks to a series of engineering enhancements — including a refined injection system, optimised intake and exhaust ports, a revised intake camshaft, and improvements to the compressor wheel and turbocharger housing — the V8 responds more quickly, operates more efficiently and delivers power more smoothly than ever before. A flat plane crank with a new firing order reduces rotating mass and internal vibrations, allowing the engine to rev more freely and deliver power with greater immediacy and refinement. Integrated mild hybrid technology provides additional torque at low speeds, enables energy recuperation during braking,
and supports seamless engine restarts, all while contributing to the S‑Class’s signature quietness and smoothness. Additional insulation measures further reduce noise, vibration, and harshness, ensuring a tranquil cabin environment even under acceleration or at high speeds. The V8 is also equipped with advanced exhaust aftertreatment systems, including a globally standard particulate filter, to ensure compliance with the latest emissions standards.
The six cylinder petrol engine (M 256 Evo)26F in the Mercedes Benz S 450 4MATIC Saloon long version and Mercedes Benz S 500 4MATIC Saloon long version now responds even more dynamically and delivers an even more assured driving experience, thanks to increased torque

– especially in the partial load range. The rated torque has risen up to 600 Nm; with up to 640 Nm available using overtorque. Overtorque means a short term increase in torque value to provide the driver with more tractive force in certain driving situations like overtaking or acceleration. These improvements are based on a new, more powerful electric auxiliary compressor, a cylinder head with optimised intake and exhaust ports and a revised intake camshaft. In addition, combustion processes and exhaust aftertreatment have been further refined. Additional insulation measures have also improved NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) characteristics compared to the previous engine. The result is a smoother, quieter and more dynamic driving experience.
The current inline six cylinder diesel engine OM 656M27F from Mercedes‑Benz has been consistently further developed into the OM 656 Evo for the Mercedes‑Benz S 350 d 4MATIC Saloon long version and Mercedes‑Benz S 450 d 4MATIC Saloon long version, with a focus on meeting the future emissions legislation.
The aim of these measures is to significantly reduce exhaust emissions while simultaneously improving fuel consumption and noticeably increasing agility. At the core of this evolution is the first ever series production use of an electrically heated catalytic converter, which brings the exhaust system into the optimal temperature range early on and ensures efficient temperature maintenance throughout the entire driving cycle. The resulting increase in the effectiveness of exhaust aftertreatment opens up new possibilities for optimising the overall system. The continuous improvement of robustness—such as through active crankcase ventilation, a more resilient Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, an enhanced water jacket in the crankcase, and refined cylinder head cooling—accompanies this development as a proven quality standard of Mercedes‑Benz.
All three engines feature a 17 kW integrated starter generator. The integrated starter generator with the petrol and diesel engines provides intelligent support in the low rpm range. In combination with turbocharging, this ensures excellent power delivery. The system includes

the 48 volt electrical system, which enables functions such as “coasting”, boost or recuperation and thus significant fuel savings. In addition, the engines start very quickly and comfortably with the help of the ISG so that the start stop function is almost imperceptible to the driver, as is the transition from “coasting” with the engine stationary to powerful propulsion with engine power. When idling, the intelligent interaction
between the ISG and the combustion engine ensures outstandingly smooth running.
The S Class plug in hybrid option combines the upgraded six cylinder petrol engine with a powerful electric motor, delivering up to 430 kW30F of system output 55 kW31F over the previous engine generation and up to 750 Nm of system torque in the Mercedes‑Benz S 580 e 4MATIC Saloon long version
with EQ Hybrid Technology and Mercedes‑Benz S 450 e Saloon long version with EQ Hybrid Technology.
Petrol particulate filters and pressurised tanks are now standard worldwide. Operation via MBUX is now even more intuitive thanks to a redesigned menu – for example, when programming a departure time for charging or for pre conditioning the vehicle.

Established in 2004, the exclusive Hermessence collection expresses the essence of Hermès in fragrance. An object of sensory and essential creation, each Hermessence is a unique and precious encounter between two materials that the perfumer weaves together with elegance, strength and virtuosity to elicit astonishment. Each Hermessence, in its own way, opens up the imagination and seeks unprecedented poetic balance, where the here is tinged with the elsewhere, the elsewhere with the here.

The house’s emblematic lantern bottle embodies a unique and timeless imprint. Its leather cap with saddle stitch signature seals the close encounter with the bold aesthete.
Fleur de peau introduces a new expression of sensuality into the Hermessence collection. Each of the creations it encompasses – Cuir d’Ange, Violette Volynka, Oud Alezan and now Musc Pallida – cultivates an intimate relationship with the skin. These confidential fragrances, disconcerting and sensual, naturally become an extension of the self. Whether freely exploring the realm of flowers, musk or leather, these Hermessences offer a sophisticated response to our quest for uniqueness.
Musc Pallida, eau de parfum: the new creation
With Musc Pallida, Christine Nagel, Creative Director of Hermès Perfumes, pays tribute to iris pallida, an extremely precious raw material. Like an alchemist heating gold to shape and mould it, the perfumer masterfully blends powdery iris with enveloping musks, imbuing it with a captivating character. The fragrance
obtained from this harmonious pairing is an ode to the pure and the precious.
““In an olfactory transposition of the saddle stitch, the two materials – like two pieces of leather sewn together – gently embrace and reveal themselves to one another”, explains Christine Nagel.
of elegance in high perfumery, take it in turns to assert their character. They interact and balance each other out until the powdery softness of the violet, which evokes the texture of skin, blends with the intensity of the leather – and the two speak with one voice.
Oud Alezan
An unexpected encounter between a perfumer and an exceptional oud wood. The intimate, sensual immersion into this raw material reawakened an emotion the perfumer had experienced a few years earlier, in the stables at the Saut Hermès au Grand Palais. The disconcerting haze of sensation induced by smelling the neck of a chestnut horse is expressed here in a combination of oud wood, a fresh rose hydrosol and a striking rose oxide.
The radiant lantern bottle, in orange and gold hues recalling the golden tones of the iris, is the perfect vessel for this “second skin” fragrance. The cap, sheathed in supple, ivory-coloured leather with yellowy-orange saddle stitching, echoes the warm and sensual musks. Musc Pallida eau de parfum will be available from January 2026 in selected Hermès retail outlets.
Cuir d’Ange
The perfumer reveals a love of literature and its connection to fragrance. Two words from the novel Jean le Bleu by Jean Giono – cuir d’ange, or angel leather – were the starting point for this composition. Using scents as words, the perfumer rekindles the lovers’ duet of leather and skin, imagining this fragrance as an encounter between two sensual materials and two emotions: leather and musk, tension and a tender caress.
Violette Volynka
As if challenging the laws of harmony, the perfumer has combined the shy violet with Volynka, a signature Hermès leather as intense as it is robust. In a game of hide-and-seek, the flower and the leather, two markers

They were spotted in the currents sweeping the kaolin seabeds, a hundred or so specimens –algae and coral, samphires and sea fans.
Marine flora settled along the relief, in the clear, damp drift of the tides, spanning exactly thirty-four pieces: plates, bowls, salad dishes and teacups.
Among them are algae, wakame, and kallymenia, tinged with sunlit shades of rose and orange, with calming greens or fresh sand tones.
They are seen to move ever so slowly, fond of adorning botanical charts, and composing landscapes beneath the sea.
Others yield to the current’s whim –sway and intertwine, in this garden of the seas.

Algae soaked in fresh water and corals in radiant sun tones compose the marine garden of the new Natures Marines tableware collection.Delicate, translucent branches undulate and overlap along the contours of the porcelain teapots, plates and bowls. A gold thread, hand-painted onto the volumetric pieces, evokes the reflections of rays of light beneath the sea.
To design the motifs on the collection’s 34 pieces, Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry, artistic directors of the Hermès home universe, called upon illustrator Katie Scott. Inspired by nineteenth-century English botanical illustrations and the marine flora of the Welsh coastline, the British artist meticulously drew the hundred plant species that adorn the porcelain, playing with a palette of thirty vibrant tones: cool greens, mineral beiges, deep oranges and reds. An ode to the delicacy of a colourful, singular marine world.

Inaugurated at the Musée de la Musique in Paris in November 2025, Playing with Fire is a visual, musical and olfactory experience that blends augmented and virtual reality. Conceived by Artistic Director Pierre-Alain Giraud, the experience celebrates the brilliance of Yuja Wang, internationally acclaimed Chinese-American pianist and Friend of Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
The experience begins as a concert where visitors are seated around a Steinway & Sons Spirio piano, the world’s most refined high-definition automatic piano, on which the pianist performs in augmented and then virtual reality. Dubai’s luxury real estate market continues to attract global attention, driven by strong fundamentals, lifestyle appeal, and long-term investment potential. At the center of this evolving landscape is Prestige Portfolios, an award-winning boutique real estate firm known for its discreet, highly personalized approach and deep market expertise.
Fully certified by RERA and regulated by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Prestige Portfolios specializes in premium and off-market real estate, supporting high-net-worth individuals, families, and investors with clarity and confidence. Backed by a multidisciplinary team spanning brokerage, legal, tax, and legacy planning, the firm goes far beyond traditional real estate services.
In this interview, we speak with Paul Heijsman, Director at Prestige Portfolios, about Dubai’s luxury property market, the firm’s boutique philosophy, and how Prestige Portfolios continues to deliver informed, long-term value for its clients.

1. Prestige Portfolios has built a strong reputation as a boutique firm in Dubai’s luxury real estate space. How would you describe the firm’s approach, and why does the boutique model work so well for high-net-worth clients?
Prestige Portfolios operates with a highly personalized, relationship-driven approach. As a boutique firm, the focus is on quality over volume, carefully curating properties, deeply understanding each client’s objectives, and delivering tailored advisory rather than transactional brokerage.
The boutique model works exceptionally well for high-net-worth clients because it offers discretion, agility, and direct access to senior expertise. Clients value privacy, trust, and continuity, and a boutique structure allows for closer relationships, faster decision-making, and solutions that are truly aligned with long-term wealth and lifestyle goals rather than short-term sales targets.
2. Your team brings together brokers, legal professionals, tax advisors, and legacy planning specialists. How does this multidisciplinary structure add value for clients navigating complex property decisions in Dubai?
Dubai’s property market sits at the intersection of real estate, law, taxation, and long-term wealth planning. By bringing brokers, legal professionals, tax advisors, and legacy planning specialists under one integrated structure, we remove

fragmentation from the client journey. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to anticipate risks, structure transactions efficiently, and align each property decision with the client’s broader financial and succession goals.
3. Dubai remains one of the most attractive global destinations for property investment and lifestyle buyers. From your perspective, what makes the Dubai market unique today, and how does Prestige Portfolios help clients identify the right opportunities here?
Dubai’s uniqueness today lies in the combination of global capital appeal, lifestyle-driven demand, and a regulatory framework that continues to mature and favor long-term investors. Few global cities offer this level of tax efficiency, political stability, infrastructure development, and openness to international buyers, all within a lifestyle ecosystem that genuinely attracts people to live, not just invest. At Prestige Portfolios, our role is to help clients cut through the noise. We focus on fundamentals, location quality, developer credibility, long-term demand drivers, and exit liquidity, rather than short-term hype. By aligning market insight with a deep understanding of each client’s objectives, whether lifestyle, yield, or legacy planning, we guide them toward opportunities that are strategic, resilient, and aligned with their broader wealth goals.
4. Prestige Portfolios is known for access to exclusive off-market properties. Why is discretion so important in the luxury segment, and how do these off-market opportunities benefit your clients?
Discretion is fundamental in the luxury real estate segment because clients value privacy as much as performance. High-net-worth individuals are often managing

public profiles, complex family dynamics, or sensitive investment strategies, and they expect transactions to be handled quietly and professionally.
Off-market opportunities allow us to meet those expectations. They give clients access to exceptional assets that are not exposed to public pricing pressure or speculation, often resulting in more thoughtful negotiations, better value, and smoother execution. At Prestige Portfolios, discretion isn’t just about confidentiality, it’s about creating a trusted environment where clients can make strategic decisions without noise or compromise
5. Informed decision-making is clearly central to your philosophy. How do your advisory services, such as valuations, market analysis, and legal verification, help clients move forward with confidence and transparency?
Informed decision-making is at the core of everything we do. Our advisory services are designed to give clients absolute clarity before they commit, whether that’s through accurate valuations, detailed market analysis, or thorough legal and title verification.
By grounding every recommendation in data, due diligence, and regulatory insight, we remove uncertainty from complex transactions. Clients are able to see not just the opportunity, but the risks, assumptions, and long-term implications as well. That level of transparency builds confidence, allowing them to move forward knowing their decisions are well-structured, compliant, and aligned with their broader investment or lifestyle objectives.
6. As Director, how do your personal experience and leadership style influence the way Prestige Portfolios works with clients, and how do you ensure the firm consistently delivers the level of trust and excellence it is known for?
My personal experience has shaped a leadership style that is deeply client-centric and principle-led. I’ve spent years working with sophisticated clients who value clarity, discretion, and long-term thinking, and that mindset influences how Prestige Portfolios engages at every level. We are not driven by volume or short-term wins, but by the quality of advice and the strength of the relationships we build.
From a leadership perspective, I focus on setting clear standards around integrity, diligence, and accountability. That means being closely involved in key client mandates, encouraging collaboration across our advisory disciplines, and maintaining rigorous internal processes. By leading with transparency and consistency, we create a culture where trust is earned daily and excellence is not aspirational, but expected.

Founded in Dubai in 2010, Knightsbridge Group has grown into a respected international advisory firm supporting individuals, families, and businesses with some of life’s most important decisions. From legal and corporate advisory to immigration, real estate, accounting, and wealth management, the firm is known for its ability to bring clarity to complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
With offices in London, Istanbul, and Milan, and its headquarters in Dubai, Knightsbridge Group serves a truly global clientele while maintaining a strong client-first and independent approach. At the heart of the firm is a commitment to discretion, long-term thinking, and tailored solutions that go beyond transactions and focus on lasting value.
In this interview, we speak with Sheldon Labuschagne, CEO of Knightsbridge Group, about the firm’s journey, its presence in Dubai, and how Knightsbridge Group continues to help clients secure global mobility, stability, and peace of mind in an increasingly complex world.
1. Knightsbridge Group has evolved into a truly international firm since its founding in Dubai in 2010. How would you describe the journey so far, and what core values have guided the firm’s growth across different regions?
Knightsbridge Group’s journey has been one of deliberate, principle-led growth rather than rapid expansion for its own sake. Since founding the firm in Dubai in 2010, our focus has always been on building a trusted advisory platform that could support clients across borders with consistency, discretion, and depth of expertise.
As the firm expanded into markets such as London, Istanbul, and Milan, the guiding values remained constant: independence, integrity, and a commitment to long-term thinking. These
principles have shaped how we enter new regions, build local expertise, and ensure that every office operates to the same standards of quality and client care. Our growth has been driven by client need and trust, not opportunism, which has allowed us to remain aligned with our core purpose while serving an increasingly global clientele.
2. Knightsbridge Group offers a wide range of services, from legal advisory and corporate services to wealth management and immigration solutions. How does this integrated approach benefit clients, especially those with complex, cross-border needs?

Clients with international lives rarely face challenges in isolation. Legal structuring, tax exposure, immigration status, asset protection, and succession planning are deeply interconnected, particularly in cross-border contexts. Knightsbridge Group’s integrated approach allows us to address these elements holistically rather than through fragmented advice.
By bringing legal, corporate, immigration, real estate, accounting, and wealth advisory under one coordinated structure, we reduce risk, inefficiency, and misalignment. Clients benefit from clear strategy, consistent advice, and solutions that are designed with the full picture in mind. This integrated model ensures that decisions made in one jurisdiction or discipline support, rather than undermine, the client’s broader objectives.
3. Dubai is a key global hub for international business, investors, and families seeking long-term security. How does Knightsbridge Group support clients in the UAE, and what makes your Dubai presence particularly important to your global operations?
Dubai plays a central role in Knightsbridge Group’s global operations, not only as our headquarters but as a strategic hub for international clients. The city attracts entrepreneurs, investors, and families from around the world who are seeking stability, tax efficiency, global connectivity, and long-term planning solutions.
Our presence in Dubai allows us to support clients at critical transition points, whether they are relocating, structuring international assets, establishing corporate entities, or planning for future generations. Dubai also serves as a bridge between regions, enabling us to coordinate advisory work across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. The regulatory maturity of the UAE, combined with its international outlook, makes it an ideal base for delivering sophisticated, cross-border advice.

4. A major area of Knightsbridge Group’s expertise is second citizenship and residency by investment. In today’s world, why is global mobility becoming so important for individuals and families, and how does your team guide clients through this journey responsibly?
Global mobility has become a strategic consideration for individuals and families with international interests. Beyond lifestyle, it provides optionality, jurisdictional flexibility, and risk diversification in an environment where regulatory, political, and economic conditions can change quickly. Second citizenship and residency are therefore viewed less as lifestyle choices and more as strategic planning tools. At Knightsbridge Group, this work is led by a dedicated, experienced team that approaches mobility planning collaboratively. We take the time to understand each client’s broader objectives, from family considerations to asset structuring and succession planning, before advising on suitable jurisdictions and pathways. By combining legal, compliance, and advisory expertise within one coordinated team, we ensure each solution is carefully structured, well-managed, and aligned with the client’s wider long-term strategy.
5. Knightsbridge Group is known for its independent, client-first approach. How does remaining free from external affiliations help you deliver objective advice and build long-term trust with your clients?
Independence is fundamental to our ability to advise objectively. By remaining free from external affiliations, quotas, or product-driven incentives, Knightsbridge Group is able to focus entirely on what is right for the client. This allows us to evaluate options critically, compare jurisdictions or structures fairly, and recommend solutions based on merit rather than commercial pressure.
Clients recognise and value this independence because it creates trust. They know our advice is grounded in analysis, experience, and long-term thinking, not short-term gain. Over time, this client-first approach strengthens relationships and positions Knightsbridge Group as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional service provider.
6. As CEO, your leadership plays a key role in shaping the firm’s culture. How do your personal principles influence the way Knightsbridge Group works with clients, and how do you ensure the firm continues to deliver solutions that last across generations?
My leadership philosophy is rooted in responsibility, consistency, and long-term stewardship. I believe that advisory work carries a duty of care, particularly when clients are making decisions that affect their families, assets, and future generations. That perspective shapes how Knightsbridge Group engages with clients and how we define success.
From a cultural standpoint, I emphasise integrity, collaboration, and accountability across the firm. This means investing in expertise, maintaining rigorous standards, and ensuring that senior leadership remains closely involved in complex client matters. By fostering a culture that prioritises enduring value over quick outcomes, we are able to deliver solutions that are resilient, compliant, and relevant not just today, but for decades to come.
