Stepping aboard a Sanlorenzo luxury yacht charter is an invitation to experience life on the water in its most exquisite form. It is the moment your everyday reality softens, replaced by shimmering horizons, secluded anchorages, and the unhurried joy of spending time with those who matter most.

A Sanlorenzo charter opens the door to a world of possibility - one where you set the course and the ocean becomes your playground.
Whether your ideal escape involves swimming alongside dolphins, diving into crystal-clear waters, or witnessing the sun slipping below the horizon as you dine alfresco, chartering a Sanlorenzo yacht offers front-row seats to some of the planet’s most breathtaking scenery.
These are the moments that linger long after the journey ends - sun-drenched days, starlit evenings, and a renewed sense of connection to the world around you.

Across the globe, an extensive selection of Sanlorenzo luxury yachts and superyachts are available for charter - each an individual expression of the yard’s design philosophy. Renowned for Italian artistry, meticulous craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to innovation, Sanlorenzo creates yachts that are as serene as they are sophisticated. Spacious decks become private sanctuaries for unwinding, while beautifully curated interiors envelop you in quiet luxury.
Life onboard is designed to transport you away from the ordinary. For some, that means switching off completely, finding stillness as the yacht glides quietly from one anchorage to the next. For others, it is the thrill of adrenaline fuelled watersports, beach explorations, or tasting the chef’s latest culinary creation. However you choose to rejuvenate, a Sanlorenzo charter allows you to do so entirely on your own terms.
To see a Sanlorenzo is to believe in its beauty. To experience one is to truly understand its magic.

The journey begins before you step onboard
The first step in curating your Sanlorenzo yacht charter is choosing your dream destination. Across its sun-soaked islands, iconic harbours, and hidden bays, the Mediterranean stands unmatched as one of the world’s most desirable cruising regions. Our expert charter team will guide you through the options, matching destinations to your personal preferences - whether that’s vibrant nightlife, culinary adventures, cultural exploration, or complete seclusion.
Once your destination is in focus, the next stage is selecting your perfect yacht.

Each Sanlorenzo is unique, ensuring there is a yacht to suit every style of traveller. Our team considers all the elements that elevate a charter experience - from the yacht’s size and cruising capabilities to onboard amenities, tenders and toys, and of course the expertise of the crew. This meticulous approach ensures your chosen yacht aligns seamlessly with your expectations and the needs of your guests.

A Sanlorenzo yacht charter is a carefully curated experience. Just as each yacht is crafted as a oneoff creation, your itinerary is designed entirely around you. Once your yacht and travel dates are confirmed, a dedicated specialist guides you through the booking process and begins helping you shape a personalised journey. Every detail is thoughtfully considered. Perhaps you wish to anchor in a quiet bay for sunrise yoga, explore hidden coves accessible only by tender, enjoy a beach picnic meticulously prepared by your onboard chef, or experience a mix of glamorous evenings in harbour and tranquil nights beneath the stars. Your preferences - culinary, cultural, and recreationalbecome the bespoke blueprint for your voyage. Your captain and crew are fully briefed on your wishes before you arrive, ensuring your time onboard feels effortlessly intuitive. They anticipate needs before they arise, offering discreet, attentive service while maintaining the relaxed ambience that makes a Sanlorenzo charter so special.
Where every moment belongs to you
Once underway, the experience becomes entirely your own. Drift between sun loungers and sealevel terraces, take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or explore charming coastal villages at your own pace. Dine on gourmet cuisine crafted by your private chef, enjoy the thrill of watersports with state-of-the-art equipment, or simply sit back and soak in the silence of the sea.
A Sanlorenzo charter is more than a holiday - it is a celebration of time, space, and freedom. It is the rare opportunity to reconnect with nature, with loved ones, and with yourself.

This is the extraordinary, experienced your way. This is the art of escape, perfected by Sanlorenzo.

Chopard is honoured to partner with the Joy Awards, a prestigious celebration of excellence in entertainment and sports across the Arab world. Recognising outstanding achievements in cinema, music, television, digital content, and athletics, the Joy Awards bring together leading talents for an evening dedicated to creativity and cultural impact.
As part of this partnership, Chopard is honoured to craft all the official Joy Awards trophies, devised in close collaboration with the Joy Awards Organisation. Inspired by the falcon – a powerful emblem of Saudi Arabia – the design captures majesty and dynamism while reflecting the Maison’s commitment to artistry, heritage, and innovation.
Caroline Scheufele, Co President and Artistic Director of Chopard, explains: “For me personally as a designer, and for Chopard, it is a great honour to contribute to the creation of the Joy Awards trophy. We were inspired by some of our previous creations, and we made sure to stay within the codes of the Joy Awards. The trophy itself is a falcon, a very majestic, regal animal –therefore it was very important that it be designed to convey strength, power and movement.”
The Joy Awards and Chopard share a natural affinity: both celebrate joie de vivre and creativity. Entertainment exists to spread joy, and Chopard’s dedication to meticulous craftsmanship, responsible sourcing, and innovative design mirrors the Awards’ commitment to

honouring outstanding talent across the region. This partnership embodies cultural heritage and artistic mastery – values at the heart of Chopard’s ethos. Each trophy requires approximately 70 hours of artisanal work at Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie atelier in Geneva, including modelling, 3D prototyping, lapidary work, gemsetting, polishing, and finishing.
They are crafted in brass plated with 18-carat ethical gold, while the falcon is rendered in 18-carat ethical gold-plated silver. The eyes, fashioned from onyx and inlaid with spessartite garnets using a special technique, adding a vivid detail that brings the falcon to life.
The trophies are presented annually, during the Joy Awards ceremony taking place on 17 January 2026 at ANB Arena in Riyadh as part of Riyadh Season. This event celebrates leading contributors in cinema, drama, music, sports, and digital content across the Arab world, with winners chosen through public voting via the dedicated app.

Rado, the Swiss watch brand whose international reputation for unique design is matched only by its mastery of groundbreaking materials, opened its third corporate boutique in Saudia Arabia, and the very first in Jeddah, on the 11th of December, at the Red Sea Mall.
The brand will be celebrating the official opening of the store on January 28th, with a “Heritage in Motion” event, which will showcase Rado’s renowned legacy of craftsmanship and innovation, which perfectly complement contemporary Saudi luxury. Every detail, from the décor to the hospitality, will reflect the brand’s identity and create an elegant, immersive experience and
bring the world of Rado to life for new generations of Jeddah-based watch enthusiasts.
Like every Rado boutique, the Red Sea Mall location offers a warm welcome to each visitor. The 116 m2 retail space features an elegant, minimalist style designed to make every visitor feel at home. The qualified staff, passionate about Rado’s timepieces, offer a bespoke shopping adventure for everyone who walks through their doors. Rado always invites potential customers to “immerse themselves in the brand’s atmosphere” and at the Red Sea Mall boutique, they will have a chance to do exactly that. Each guest will – literally – feel the Rado difference.
It’s no surprise that the Rado watches are the undisputed stars of the show and at the heart of the boutique in the Red Sea Mall is an appealing selection of timepieces carefully curated from Rado’s most popular collections. At a specially designed table, guests have the chance to learn about each stage of the production of a fine Rado watch. It also introduces the fascinating technology behind the high-tech ceramic that has made the brand so popular among serious watch enthusiasts. It’s a perfect way to explore the incredible scratch resistance and the lightness of the material, which contribute to the durability of each timepiece.
The Customer Care Centre inside the boutique ensures excellent after-sales service along with the technical expertise long-time Rado fans have come to expect from the brand.
Rado is excited to be expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia and the newly opened boutique at
the Red Sea Mall is the next step in the brand’s ongoing commitment to the region. Enthusiastic staff members are looking forward to giving every visitor the opportunity to discover – or rediscover – Rado’s pioneering spirit. Each corner of the new boutique reflects Rado’s DNA and each watch on display underscores the brand’s enduring motto: “If we can imagine it, we can make it. And if we can make it, we will!”
Rado x Saudi Arabia
Rado has a long, proud history in Saudi Arabia. The brand’s enduring pioneering spirit, which defines its timepieces, has always led it to seek out new markets and forge new contracts around the world. It was these personal contacts that made Rado aficionados out of watch enthusiasts and retailers everywhere the brand was introduced. In turn, strong relationships and reliable partnerships were formed, notably in countries like Saudi Arabia.

Rado first entered the Saudi market at the end of the 1950s, with businesses in the cities of Mecca and Jeddah. As the country experienced dynamic economic development from the 1970s, Rado’s own growth accelerated, and it had already become the top Rado market in 1976. And for more than fifty years, Saudi Arabia has remained among the brand’s top ten.
Rado started to initiate further key strategies and partnerships in the late 1980s and as the Saudi economy experienced unprecedented expansion, the Swiss watch brand’s presence in the Kingdom remained a vital part of its profile, a status the country maintains to this very day.
This on-going success is a result of one of the brand’s guiding principles: its watches are continuously adapted to consumer tastes, and Rado’s decades-old presence in Saudi Arabia has meant that it has been able to build on its already-strong affinity with its customers in the

region. The new boutique in Jeddah’s Red Sea Mall underscores this enduring connection to Saudi Arabia and its people.
“As Rado CEO Adrian Bosshard says, the opening of the boutique in Red Sea Mall reflects his brand’s commitment to the region. “With our Red Sea Mall boutique, we are giving our watch lovers in Jeddah the Rado sales experience they deserve. We can’t wait to see as many of our friends at the boutique and we’re excited about introducing them to our full range of great watches in an environment that really is the ‘house of Rado’”.

Congratulations on your appointment as General Manager of The Jeddah EDITION. What does this role represent for you, both professionally and personally?
This role represents a defining milestone in my career. Professionally, it is the culmination of over 15 years of dedication to luxury hospitality, spanning commercial strategy, operations, and leadership across multiple international markets. Personally, it is deeply meaningful because I have been part of this project since its pre-opening phase. Watching The Jeddah EDITION evolve from a concept into one of the Kingdom’s most distinctive lifestyle & luxury destinations has been incredibly rewarding.
With over 15 years of global luxury hospitality experience, how have your roles across the United States, Germany, and Turkey shaped your leadership style today?
Working across diverse international markets has shaped me into a balanced and highly adaptive leader. In the United States, I built a strong foundation in management training with a particular focus on operational excellence and structured leadership development. Germany further strengthened my precision, discipline, and systematic approach to
performance and quality standards. In Turkey, I developed a strong commercial mindset while deepening my understanding of emotional intelligence, warmth, and highly personalized service. Together, these experiences have allowed me to combine operational rigor, commercial acumen, and genuine hospitality, a blend that defines my leadership style today. Luxury hospitality is not only about numbers, it is about people, culture, and creating lasting memories. I believe in leading from the front, setting clear expectations, and building strong, empowered teams.
EDITION hotels are known for redefining modern luxury. How does The Jeddah EDITION interpret the EDITION philosophy within the context of Saudi Arabia?
The Jeddah EDITION interprets the EDITION philosophy through the lens of Saudi culture and contemporary lifestyle. EDITION globally stands for understated elegance, sophisticated design, and curated experiences. In Jeddah, we blend that DNA with the richness of Saudi hospitality, generosity, authenticity, and warmth. We are not just a hotel, we are a social and cultural platform. Our design, culinary concepts, and programming are aligned with the evolving lifestyle scene of the Kingdom while respecting its traditions.
Having been closely involved since the pre-opening phase, what were some of the key challenges and opportunities in launching The Jeddah EDITION?
Launching a lifestyle luxury brand in a transforming market is both complex and exciting. One of the key challenges was introducing a relatively new brand concept to the market while ensuring clear positioning.
However, the opportunity was far greater. Saudi Arabia is experiencing unprecedented growth under Vision 2030. We had the chance to shape perception, build strong local partnerships, and establish The Jeddah EDITION as a benchmark for modern luxury in the city from day one.
You led the hotel’s commercial strategy prior to opening. What vision guided you in positioning The Jeddah EDITION within Jeddah’s competitive luxury hospitality landscape?
Our vision was clear: we would not compete purely on rate or room inventory — we would compete on experience, brand identity, and cultural relevance.

“Luxury hospitality is not defined by numbers, rankings, or financial performance alone. It is defined by people — by the cultures we honor, the teams we empower, and the guests whose stories become intertwined with ours. True luxury lies in the emotions we evoke, the authenticity we deliver, and the lasting memories we create long after the stay has ended. That is the standard we strive for every single day.
We positioned the hotel as the meeting point of global sophistication and local energy as a TEAM. From strategic segmentation to targeted partnerships, we focused on attracting high-value corporate, government, and lifestyle-driven clientele who resonate with the EDITION ethos.
Consistency in storytelling and disciplined revenue strategy were fundamental pillars of our approach.
Under your leadership, the hotel achieved strong performance rankings globally within the Marriott/ EDITION portfolio. What key strategies contributed to this success?
Performance excellence is never accidental. It is the result of clarity, discipline, and alignment.
We focused on three key drivers:
1.Commercial precision and proactive market engagement
2.Operational consistency and guest satisfaction
3.Strong team culture and accountability
When your team understands the vision and feels ownership, results follow naturally.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is undergoing a remarkable transformation under Vision 2030. How do you see luxury hospitality evolving in this dynamic environment?
Saudi Vision 2030 is reshaping the hospitality landscape dramatically. Luxury hospitality in the Kingdom is becoming more experiential, design-focused, and lifestyle-oriented. Guests today expect authenticity, cultural immersion, and innovation. The future of luxury in Saudi Arabia will be defined by creativity, sustainability, and the ability to anticipate the needs of a younger, globally connected generation.

How does The Jeddah EDITION cater to the growing expectations of both local Saudi guests and international luxury travelers?
Understanding our audience is key. Local Saudi guests seek privacy, exclusivity, and culturally aligned service. International travelers look for authenticity and a sense of place. We balance both by offering refined yet relaxed luxury, highly personalized service, and curated social experiences. Our culinary offerings, design, and ambiance create a space where both audiences feel understood and inspired.
In your view, what defines true luxury hospitality in 2026, and how has guest perception of luxury changed over the past decade?
True luxury in 2026 is defined by personalization, emotional connection, and seamless execution.
A decade ago, luxury was often about visible opulence. Today, it is about discretion,
authenticity, and time, giving guests the feeling that every detail has been thoughtfully crafted for them. Luxury is no longer loud; it is intelligent and intuitive.
EDITION hotels are celebrated for their design and cultural relevance. How do you ensure the hotel remains a vibrant social hub within Jeddah?
Relevance requires constant evolution. We actively collaborate with local creatives, chefs, and brands. We curate experiences that reflect the pulse of Jeddah’s dynamic scene. By remaining connected to the community and staying ahead of lifestyle trends, we ensure the hotel remains not only a place to stay, but a place to gather.
Talent development is crucial in hospitality. How do you nurture and inspire your team to deliver consistent excellence?
I strongly believe that culture drives performance.
We invest in training, mentorship, and clear performance expectations. I encourage open communication and accountability. When team members feel empowered and valued, they naturally deliver excellence.
Developing Saudi talent is particularly important to me. Supporting the next generation of leaders aligns with the broader transformation of the Kingdom.

An emerging destination where islands, desert, and sea converge through world-class experiences

As global travel shifts away from predictability, The Red Sea is emerging as one of the world’s most distinctive destinations for travelers seeking something new and exciting. Stretching along Saudi Arabia’s western coast, the destination unfolds across an archipelago of more than 90 pristine islands, alongside vast desert landscapes, volcanic mountains, and coral-rich waters, offering a rare sense of scale and discovery in an increasingly crowded travel landscape. As one of the world’s newest destinations to welcome international travelers, it presents a moment few places can offer; the chance to explore a region while it is still being revealed.
Across islands and inland terrain, exploration is shaped by contrast and depth. On the water, Shebara’s mirrored overwater and beach villas open directly onto sailing, e-surfing, and reef ecology experiences, while the Ummahat Islands, home to The St. Regis Red Sea Resort and Nujuma,

The first Sofitel in the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia introduces
Sofitel, the French luxury hospitality brand from Accor, proudly announces the opening of Sofitel Riyadh Hotel and Convention Centre, marking the brand’s debut in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s capital. Strategically located in the prestigious Ar Rahmaniyyah neighbourhood, the hotel reflects the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to the Kingdom’s transformation through world-class hospitality, international connectivity and the development of large-scale business and cultural events. The property features the largest luxury hotel convention centre in Riyadh, offering nearly 8,500 square metres of flexible event space, alongside 388 sophisticated rooms and suites.

The opening represents a significant milestone for Sofitel as it brings its signature blend of French elegance and local cultural inspiration to one of the Middle East’s most dynamic destinations. Only 35 minutes from King Khalid International Airport, with private transfers available, the property is also near iconic landmarks, including Kingdom Centre Tower, Kingdom Centre Mall, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Diriyah.
Where French Zest meets the spirit of a destination
Designed as a destination in its own right, Sofitel Riyadh offers an immersive luxury experience where French zest meets the heritage, creativity, and forward-looking spirit of Saudi Arabia. The launch comes at a time when Riyadh continues to expand its global presence, welcoming business leaders, international travellers, and cultural explorers alike.
The building’s architecture draws inspiration from the desert dunes and from the first Arabic letter of King Abdullah’s name, symbolizing continuity with the Kingdom’s heritage. With 388 sophisticated rooms and suites, the 5-star hotel provides the perfect combination of luxury and convenience.
Where ritual meets grandeur
Adding to the hotel’s sense of ritual and refinement is the Sofitel Candle Ritual, an evocative brand tradition inspired by the Parisian streets once illuminated daily by candlelight in the era of Louis XIV. Together with considered design details, the hotel creates a dialogue between cultures in which French elegance enhances, rather than overshadows, the local narrative.

In addition to establishing itself as a leading hub for business and events, Sofitel Riyadh is home to the largest luxury hotel Convention Centre in the city - the Princess Nouf International Convention Centre - offering nearly 8,500 square metres of flexible event space. With a grand ballroom, multiple breakout rooms, and state-of-the-art technology, the venue can welcome up to 4,000 guests, making it ideal for largescale conferences, exhibitions, and prestigious social occasions.
Moving through the hotel, a hallmark of the Sofitel experience is its gastronomical artistry, and Sofitel Riyadh showcases a collection of distinct culinary venues that blend craftsmanship with cultural expression.
Thu-rya, the signature restaurant, presents a contemporary interpretation of Lebanese cuisine.
Zeline, the all-day dining venue, offers an elegant selection of international dishes.
La Matinée provides a refined tea lounge atmosphere with fine teas and delicate pastries.
Monsieur Boisé will soon open as a refined cigar lounge, offering an elevated experience with premium cigars expertly paired with curated beverages.
Toi et Moi is a French Mediterranean brasserie that celebrates the art of convivial dining, where the elegance of French culinary heritage meets the vibrant flavors of the Mediterranean
Not to be missed is La Haute Croissanterie, Sofitel’s globally recognised signature experience, delighting guests with freshly baked artisanal pastries and iconic French viennoiseries, a luxurious start to the day or indulgence at any hour.
For wellness seekers, Sofitel Spa, in partnership with Clarins, will soon offer a serene sanctuary of calm.

Designed with dedicated facilities for both men and women, the spa features two indoor pools, two vitality pools, a modern Hammam, thermal facilities, and 12 treatment rooms, creating a holistic wellness journey.
Proudly standing as the first Clarins Spa in Riyadh, Spa and Wellness Director Mohamed Mahdawi has curated an expert-led treatment menu, including a collection of Signature and Luxury Spa experiences. These encompass Face and Body treatments using the spa’s primary product partner Clarins, alongside Hammam and Body rituals featuring Charme d’Orient, introducing the renowned French skincare brand’s holistic and hedonistic approach to wellbeing to the destination.
A new chapter in Sofitel’s global growth story
The opening of Sofitel Riyadh comes at a time of strong global momentum for the brand. Sofitel is

currently undergoing a significant rejuvenation, with 33% of its global portfolio having been renovated and close to 40 new hotels planned to open in the coming years, reinforcing its position as a modern, culturally attuned luxury brand. This dynamic expansion reflects Sofitel’s commitment to evolving luxury hospitality while staying true to its French DNA.
Fadeel G. Wehbe, Managing Director of Sofitel Riyadh Hotel and Convention Centre, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome guests to our hotel . Riyadh is a vibrant metropolis at the forefront of cultural and economic transformation, and the hotel offers a front-row seat to this remarkable evolution. Combining Sofitel’s hallmark French zest with Riyadh’s rich traditions, we aim to provide guests with a space that is both inspiring and luxurious.”
Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, added: “The Middle

East is a strategic region for Sofitel, with Saudi Arabia at the heart of our development momentum. Sofitel Riyadh Convention Centre stands as a bold expression of our brand’s renewal and global vision, and as our first address in the capital, it perfectly embodies a culturally rooted, emotionally engaging luxury where French art de vivre meets the vibrant spirit of Riyadh. Today, Sofitel operates three hotels in the Kingdom – in Madinah, Al Khobar and Riyadh – with two additional properties in the pipeline, including Sofitel Jabal Omar Makkah, set to become the largest Sofitel in the world. This growing footprint reflects our long-term confidence in Saudi Arabia and its role as a destination where culture, luxury, and international mobility converge.”
Aligned with the launch, Sofitel continues to strengthen its social and cultural engagement through the King Abdullah Humanitarian
Foundation, supporting education, empowerment, and cultural initiatives in line with the brand’s philosophy of luxury with positive impact.
With its prime location, exceptional connectivity, and seamless blend of business, leisure, and culture, Sofitel Riyadh Hotel and Convention Centre sets a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Saudi Arabia, welcoming travellers from around the world to experience Riyadh through a refined French lens.

Together, these works form a living archive that reframes AlUla as a place defined by movement and transformation, where wind and water continually redraw the landscape and re-shape memory. Kimpton KAFD Riyadh – the first hotel in KAFD and the first Kimpton in the Middle East, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts – announces the opening of Botanica, a new dining venue offering a relaxed, greenery-led experience in Riyadh’s financial district.
Botanica at Kimpton KAFD Riyadh is a garden grown in the middle of the city, only this one serves mocktails and has a menu worth exploring. Wrapped in lush greenery and kissed by natural light, it celebrates the art of fresh, seasonal dining with a usual Kimpton twist.
The farm-to-table-inspired menu follows a seasonal approach, drawing on locally sourced Saudi ingredients and global influences to create dishes that feel fresh, balanced, and designed for sharing. The menu changes seasonally, depending on what is fresh and available locally. These flavours come to life across the offering, from savoury plates to desserts such as a Saudi-inspired tiramisu infused with Arabic coffee, dates, and saffron.
“In the middle of a fast-paced financial district, we wanted to create something that felt like a pause – calm, green, and a little unexpected,” said Rabih Beaino, General Manager, Kimpton KAFD Riyadh. “That contrast is part of what makes Botanica special – a relaxed, greenery-filled space with a terrace that opens up to the striking KAFD skyline. It’s the best of both worlds: a natural escape set against a backdrop of bold architecture.”
To elevate the atmosphere further, a resident DJ plays daily from sunset onwards, setting a laid-back mood that complements the surroundings and invites guests to unwind into the evening.
As one of four dining venues at Kimpton KAFD Riyadh, the restaurant brings a distinct, nature-driven perspective to the hotel’s culinary offering. With its focus on seasonality, locally sourced ingredients, and a setting shaped by greenery and light, it adds a thoughtful new layer to the capital’s evolving dining scene while offering a calm counterpoint to its high-energy surroundings.

Its mission goes beyond legal frameworks, it seeks to cultivate an environment where innovation thrives, closely aligned with the Kingdom’s Ministry of Culture, the Quality-of-Life Program, and Vision 2030, shaping a future where imagination and entrepreneurship flourish hand in hand.
On a sunny morning in one of Riyadh’s markets, you stop at the beverage section and pick up a bottle of Vemto. At first glance, it might seem like an ordinary drink, but behind it lies an entire legal ecosystem. The brand name, its logo, and even its recipe is all protected under intellectual property law, ensuring the company’s uniqueness in the market and shielding it from imitation or unauthorized exploitation.
In recent years, Saudi Arabia has introduced significant updates to its intellectual property laws, particularly concerning trademarks and trade names. The New Trade Names Law, which came into effect in January 2025, requires the mandatory registration of trade names with the Ministry of Commerce and prohibits the use of any name that conflicts with a registered trademark. These changes go beyond administrative procedures they provide real legal protection, ensuring companies can defend their rights against any attempt to exploit their brands.
The reforms extend beyond trade names. Procedures for rejecting trademark applications have been updated, appeals must now be submitted within 60 days, and amendments to a rejected application are no longer allowed. This encourages companies to carefully plan their applications from the outset to ensure acceptance and prevent future disputes. In the field of innovation, protection for industrial designs has been strengthened, with the protection period extended from ten to fifteen years, while international agreements such as the Hague Agreement are recognized, facilitating local and international registration of innovations.
Practical examples highlight the value of these protections. Vemto successfully safeguarded its trademark across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, maintaining its reputation and consumer loyalty. On the international stage, the case of Adidas vs.

Adidog demonstrates how even minor imitation can have serious legal consequences, as courts ruled that the similar logo could confuse consumers and weaken the value of the original brand a principle that also applies in Saudi Arabia.
The lessons are clear: Intellectual property is not just a registration or legal formality it is a strategic asset for companies. From thorough research before submitting applications, to compliance with legal requirements, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes, and implementing internal protection policies, every step contributes to building a strong and sustainable brand whether it’s a product, digital content, cultural production, or industrial innovation.
In a Kingdom that embraces creativity and supports a knowledge-based economy, safeguarding intellectual property is not merely a legal obligation, it is a way to reward and preserve creativity for future generations, whether in Riyadh or around the world.

For years, sustainability in construction was framed as a commitment. Today, it is a measurable performance requirement. The global buildings and construction sector accounts for nearly 37% of energy-related carbon emissions and about 34% of global energy demand, placing it at the center of climate action, regulatory reform, and investment scrutiny. As countries prepare for large-scale international events such as World Expos and FIFA World Cups, construction is no longer evaluated solely on delivery timelines and cost efficiency. It is now assessed on carbon intensity, environmental compliance, ESG transparency, and long-term legacy value. Mega-events accelerate this transformation. Host nations typically invest between USD 10 billion and USD 50 billion in stadiums, mobility systems, utilities, and urban districts. These projects are designed to showcase national capability and future readiness while operating under global scrutiny. Investors and regulators increasingly expect infrastructure developed for such events to demonstrate measurable environmental performance aligned with international sustainability standards. The shift is clear: sustainability is moving from ambition to execution across the construction lifecycle.
Across global markets, sustainability expectations are now embedded within procurement frameworks and

financing conditions. Integrating sustainability at the design stage can reduce lifecycle costs by up to 20%, while efficient infrastructure can lower operational energy use by 30–50%. Early carbon planning can also reduce embodied emissions by 10–40%, strengthening both project economics and environmental performance. Construction organizations capable of aligning governance, measurement, and reporting systems with these expectations are increasingly positioned to lead major infrastructure developments.
World Expos and FIFA World Cups function as stress tests for construction ecosystems. They require rapid delivery of complex infrastructure under tight timelines and intense international visibility. Stadiums, exhibition centers, transport networks, and hospitality facilities must meet strict sustainability criteria while maintaining cost control and operational efficiency. Operational energy performance is a key benchmark. Sustainable stadiums and public facilities designed with high-efficiency systems can achieve 30–50% reductions in energy use, while integrated water management strategies significantly reduce consumption in water-stressed regions. Construction-phase carbon management also plays a critical role. Early integration of carbon accounting into project planning allows developers and contractors to identify reduction opportunities during procurement and material selection, when impact reductions are most achievable.
Environmental compliance is important. Large-scale projects must address air quality, water management, waste handling, and ecosystem protection while meeting local and international regulations. Projects with structured environmental management systems are more likely to maintain compliance and avoid costly delays. This is particularly important in high-visibility developments associated with global events, where reputational risk is significant.
Many construction organizations have established sustainability commitments, yet implementation remains uneven. The most common challenges include fragmented governance structures, delayed measurement practices, and limited supply-chain transparency. Projects that integrate carbon accounting, environmental monitoring, and ESG reporting into core delivery systems are more likely to achieve measurable outcomes. Embedding sustainability into procurement and operational decision-making ensures that targets influence real project performance rather than remain aspirational.
The construction sector generates roughly one-third of global waste, making resource efficiency a strategic priority. Projects adopting circular construction practices can divert 50–90% of waste from landfill while reducing material costs and embodied carbon.
Designing infrastructure for adaptability and reuse ensures that assets developed for mega-events continue delivering value beyond the event period, supporting both environmental and economic resilience.
Sustainable construction requires institutional readiness as well as technical solutions. Organizations must develop internal capabilities to manage environmental performance, carbon accounting, and ESG reporting across complex projects. Training and governance frameworks enable project teams to implement sustainability measures consistently and effectively. Construction firms that invest in capability development are better positioned to meet evolving regulatory requirements and investor expectations. They are also more resilient in managing environmental risks and
supply-chain disruptions. As sustainability becomes a core performance metric, institutional capability will play a defining role in sector leadership.
CES works with construction stakeholders across planning, design, construction, and operational phases to integrate sustainability, environmental compliance, and carbon management into project delivery. This integrated approach supports infrastructure that meets international standards while remaining commercially viable and operationally efficient.
Sustainable construction increasingly drives long-term asset performance. Energy-efficient and climate-resilient infrastructure typically achieves lower operating costs and stronger investment appeal. For host nations, this supports national climate targets and economic diversification. For developers and contractors, it enhances competitiveness and credibility.
As global expectations continue to rise, measurable sustainability performance is becoming a defining characteristic of successful construction projects. The sector is moving from commitment to proof.

THE MOMENT AFTER DISCIPLINE
In our last article, we reached a difficult but necessary conclusion: in an age of artificial intelligence and unlimited choice, discipline has become the new luxury. AI has removed friction from life. Switching is effortless. Novelty is endless. We no longer struggle to access information, options, or experiences—we struggle to stay with anything long enough for meaning to form.
But discipline alone is not enough.
If discipline governs the individual, the next question is unavoidable: what governs the systems we are now building together?
This is where conscience enters— not as a moral slogan, but as architecture.
A SIMPLE LAW OF CIVILIZATION
Across history, civilizations have followed a quiet but consistent rule:
Civilizations collapse when capability grows faster than conscience. When conscience leads, societies regenerate trust, restore balance, and endure. When capability outruns conscience, societies accelerate, extract, and eventually break— no matter how advanced they appear.
This can be expressed simply:
Civilization Health = Conscience ÷ Capability
In plain language: a civilization is healthy when human conscience governs human capability. This is the defining challenge of the Cognitive Age.
Human history can be understood through what we chose to value.
• In the Agricultural Age, land was value.
• In the Industrial Age, energy was value.
• In the Digital Age, information was value.
Each shift reshaped who participated, who decided, and who benefited. Each shift also changed what it meant to be human.
Today, we are entering a new era. In the Cognitive Age, the primary value is no longer land, energy, or data—but collective intelligence itself. AI has made intelligence abundant. Thought now shapes thought. Meaning can be designed, scaled, and transmitted.
The question is no longer what we can do.
It is what governs what we can do.
Every era has had its accelerator. Fire accelerated metallurgy. Steam accelerated industry. Networks accelerated information.
AI accelerates cognition.
It splits thought, recombines insight, and scales intention itself. This makes intelligence powerful— but also dangerous if left unguided. In this environment, humans are no longer needed primarily as labor or operators. Our unique role becomes something far more important:
To create meaning under constraint.
That requires conscience—not as belief, but as structure.
The Digital Age was built on extraction. Platforms harvested attention, behavior, and emotion. We became connected—but less present. Informed—but less grounded. Productive—but less fulfilled.
The Cognitive Age cannot survive this model.
Intelligence collapses without trust. Creativity fades without integrity. Societies burn out when regeneration stops.
Civilization 2.0 therefore shifts from extraction to regeneration. Value is no longer defined by how much we take, but by how much we restore.
In this new logic:
• Trust becomes wealth
• Integrity becomes infrastructure
• Presence becomes capital Growth is no longer automatic. It must be earned.
The Cognitive Age creates a new human condition: the phygital self—a life lived across physical, digital, emotional, and symbolic space. Motivation alone cannot govern this self.
Willpower is not enough.
What is required is design. Identity must be coherent. Thinking must be complete. Memory must be curated. Action must follow consent and responsibility.
Conscience, in this age, becomes public infrastructure—embedded into systems, rituals, and rules of participation. This is how discipline scales without coercion.
Civilization 2.0 does not fear AI, nor does it worship it.
AI is powerful precisely because it is bounded.
It can organize complexity, execute approved actions, and surface insight. It must not define values, replace judgment, or scale itself unchecked.
Intelligence alone does not justify authority.
Only structure constrains power.
For decades, progress was measured by speed and growth. In the Cognitive Age, progress is measured by trust.
When trust declines, systems slow or fracture.
When trust grows, permission to expand is granted.
This marks a quiet shift from GDP to something deeper: a measure of whether a society deserves to continue scaling.
Human history has been a story of ownership.
We owned land. We controlled energy. We dominated information.
Now we must share wisdom. The human role shifts from connecting to regenerating. This requires discipline—but more importantly, it requires an architecture of conscience.
The future will not belong to the fastest civilization.
It will belong to the one that can pause, choose wisely, and renew itself.
In a world where everything is instant, the rarest thing is the ability to stay.
That is discipline. That is presence. That is Civilization 2.0. This is not a prediction. It is a choice.

Doctors are trained for many decades to become experts in their fields and be able to take care of the most important thing on earth that is human lives. Amongst all the training that doctors have, the integration of AI and digitalization in the modern medical field has revolutionized healthcare, transforming the way we diagnose, treat and prevent diseases.
Artificial Intelligence applications had developed dramatically in healthcare and covered a wide range of services from improving drug management, decreasing costs, improving
diagnosis and treatment, remote monitoring of chronic diseases and even going to levels beyond imaginations such as what is happening recently from performing robotic telesurgery between continents. That enabled surgeons to successfully perform procedures on patients located thousands of miles away, breaking geographical barriers and redefining the boundaries of remote healthcare.
In Saudi Arabia we have our ambitious vision 2030 that is a national road map for the future covering three major Strategic Pillars (SPs), that are: Vibrant Society, Thriving economy and an Ambitious Nation. Giving the challenges we encounter in the kingdom such as rising rates of chronic diseases like diabetes in addition to managing health problems for millions of people from all over the globe with different backgrounds gathering in one small area during the annual Hajj season, as well as our aim to improve health care access in remote areas with increasing efficiency and reducing rate.
For the challenges mentioned above and so many others that are hard to capture in this short article I would say that the Kingdom have actively integrated AI into its healthcare system right from mid-2010 accelerating significantly around 2019-2021 and positioning itself as top-ranked entity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption, deeply integrated into the nation’s 1st-place ranking in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in the Government AI Readiness Index 2025. Prioritizing patient data protection and privacy for over 35 million citizen and resident while aligning with the Kingdom’s cultural and ethical values and implementing regulations to meet the stringent data security standards.
One of the examples is how the Ministry of Health is embedding AI into digital health initiatives to support better outcomes and optimizing the workflow and boost the operations efficiency so that more people will benefit from the healthcare services and the waiting lists will be reduced . Another brightening example is the initiation of virtual clinics and hospitals that deliver remote care, bridging access and reducing the need of the physical visits. That successful example was not only limited to the Kingdom but these virtual clinics have extended their expertise beyond borders, providing top-notch medical care and guidance to neighboring countries. Leveraging the Kingdom’s advanced healthcare infrastructure and expertise, these clinics offer remote consultations, second opinions, and specialized advice, strengthening regional healthcare cooperation and knowledge sharing. While examples are plentiful, I’d like to conclude with a notable one. The kingdoms rapid move into advanced robotic surgery is no longer a promise, its being measured in worldfirst outcomes. In Riyadh, the announcement of the world’s first fully robotic heart transplant in 2024 stands as a powerful symbol of the achievements. By replacing the large chest opening incision with a keyhole or minimally invasive surgery using robotic techniques, a procedure that signaled how far the Kingdom’s surgical capabilities have advanced.
In conclusion, artificial intelligence is not only enhancing healthcare in Saudi but its reshaping its future and digital transformation isn’t just beneficial, its essential for survival. As the Kingdom continues to invest in digital health, research and advanced medical technology it is positioning itself as a regional and global hub for the next generation care.

Riyadh Air has unveiled the Hafawa Lounge, its first premium airport lounge at King Khalid International Airport, designed in collaboration with the internationally acclaimed studio Yabu Pushelberg. The lounge introduces a new approach to premium airport hospitality, blending Saudi cultural values with contemporary design and advanced technology.
The guest experience at the Hafawa Lounge is designed as part of Riyadh Air’s restorative sensory journey, helping travelers reset and recharge before their flight. The concept is inspired by Hafawa, a deeply rooted Saudi value representing warmth, generosity, and hospitality.
Located between Terminals 1 and 2, the nearly 2,000-square-meter lounge can comfortably host around 370 Business Elite and Business Class guests. Its opening marks a major milestone in Riyadh Air’s preparations for its commercial launch, placing design and innovation at the center of the travel experience. “The Hafawa Lounge reflects our belief that design and technology play an important role in shaping the guest experience,” said Mody Alkhalaf, Director of Guest Experience at Riyadh Air. “Working with Yabu Pushelberg allowed us to bring together the traditional warmth of Saudi hospitality with contemporary, future-forward

design to create a space that supports comfort and emotional wellbeing throughout the journey.”
Departing from the traditional open-plan lounge model, the designers envisioned the space as a series of interconnected rooms that offer different atmospheres. Inspired by the Saudi desert landscape where earth meets sky, the interiors feature natural materials such as limestone, oak, and textured plaster, creating a calm and elegant environment.
Lighting plays a key role in the experience. A carefully designed circadian system evolves throughout the day, shifting from warm tones at dawn to cooler light during midday, before returning to warmer hues in the evening, echoing the natural rhythm of desert light.
The lounge includes a variety of spaces tailored to different travel moods. A sculptural arrival area leads guests into the central Pantry for informal dining, while the Balcony Café offers runway views and a more social atmosphere. Quieter areas such as The Study and The Parlor provide a residential-style environment for relaxation, while spa-inspired bathrooms, garden-facing seating, and private sleeping pods allow travelers to rest and recharge.
“Our goal was to create a space that supports the emotional side of travel,” said Glenn Pushelberg, Co-Founder of Yabu Pushelberg. “Through light, texture, and atmosphere, the Hafawa Lounge offers guests a sense of calm and generosity before they take flight.”
Technology is seamlessly integrated throughout the space, with intuitive wayfinding, immersive media installations, and discreet digital service touchpoints enhancing convenience while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment. Guests are also welcomed with traditional Saudi coffee and premium dates, a gesture that reflects the spirit of Hafawa hospitality.
Through this collaboration, Riyadh Air and Yabu Pushelberg present a new vision for premium travel, where design, technology, and emotion come together to shape the guest journey. The Hafawa Lounge offers a glimpse into the airline’s future travel experience and sets a new benchmark for airport lounges.

Kaplan, with a mission to ensure a future for wild cats and the vast landscapes on which they depend. As the leading global conservation charity operating exclusively in this field, Panthera is actively engaged in the Middle East, where it is spearheading the reintroduction of the critically endangered Arabian leopard to AlUla, in partnership with the Royal Commission for AlUla.
Capturing the lion’s power, poise and restless energy with remarkable subtlety, Young LionResting is one of only six known Rembrandt drawings of lions, and the

only example remaining in private hands. Rembrandt would have been in his early to mid-thirties when he executed this small yet intensely intimate work, and the immediacy of the image suggests it was drawn from life — though precisely where the artist encountered the lionremains unknown. Long before Rembrandt ever sketched a lion in 17th-century Europe, lions roamed northwest Arabia alongside leopards. Their presence still endures in AlUla’s landscape, carved into ancient rock faces and most powerfully embodied in the LionTombs of Dadan, where stone lions have stood watch for some 2,000 years.
For Dr. Thomas S. Kaplan, this drawing holds deep personal meaning, marking his first Rembrandt acquisition — he would go on to acquire no fewer than 17 paintings by the artist. Releasing it now, with proceeds directed towards conservation, gives the work a living future, linking art, heritage and the protection of wild cats. From 2017 to 2024, Dr. Kaplan served as Chairman of the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage (ALIPH) — a Geneva-based foundation supporting concrete and sustainable initiatives toprotect the richness and diversity of the world’s cultural heritage, with over 575 projects in 64 countries to date. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a founding member of ALIPH and is represented on the Board by H.H. Prince Badr bin Abdullah Al Saud, the country’s Minister of Culture and Governor of the Royal Commission for AlUla.
The exhibition in Diriyah — the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif — will also, for the first time, present the full range of works offered in Origins II, a sale of modern and contemporary art featuring leading Saudi and Middle Eastern artists alongside renowned international names such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Anish Kapoor. Comprising 64

lots, the pre-sale exhibition will remain on public view throughout the week, culminating in the open-air auction on Saturday, 31 January at 7.30pm in Diriyah — the Destination Partner for Origins II — at the amphitheatre.
The sale promises auction debuts for Saudi artists Mohamed Siam and Dia Aziz Dia, among the most significant voices of the Kingdom’s second generation of modern artists, presented alongside their trailblazing peers, including Safeya Binzagr, Abdulhalim Radwi, and Mohammed Al Saleem. Carving a niche of its own is a rare alabaster figure of a woman from ancient South Arabia, which stands as a compelling testament to the culture’s artistic sophistication.

ALMA Destination, a 3.125 million square meter master-planned waterfront destination in Obhur/North Jeddah, is making its debut at the Real Estate Future Forum (REFF) as one of the Kingdom’s most comprehensive privately developed water front projects. Designed as a destination within Jeddah, ALMA features a marina-led urban masterplan, with primary infrastructure and utilities completed to plot level, marking the transition into its next phase of vertical development.
Strategically located along the Red Sea coastline in North Jeddah, close by the King Abdulaziz International Airport, ALMA Destination is conceived as a water-centred, mixed-use master-planned development organized into seven integrated districts (neighborhoods) and two distinct central islands, connected by bridges and sea channels.
The masterplan is shaped by interconnected waterways and a newly created 12.5-kilometer waterfront, including a 5.5-kilometer waterfront promenade with navigable canals, bridges, marinas, and public parks. Water serves as the primary organizing element, shaping land use, mobility, views, and lifestyle across the destination.
Developed by Al Thuraya Al Omranya Properties, backed by a group of prominent Saudi businessmen with established track records in real estate development, ALMA Destination is now welcoming developers, hospitality operators, commercial and sophisticated investors, and lifestyle operators to participate in the development of fully serviced, masterplan-aligned plots across residential, mixed-use, hospitality, marina, cultural, and entertainment typologies. Development is governed by
a master-developer–defined architectural vision and design guidelines intended to support long-term asset quality and maintain a unified visual identity across the destination.
The seven districts comprise of marina-oriented mixed-use centers, resort and luxury island districts, canal-front residential neighborhoods, integrated urban parks, and dedicated arts and cultural zones. Together, they form a balanced “live, work, play” environment supported by schools, mosques, healthcare facilities, retail clusters, hospitality assets, and community social infrastructure distributed across the destination. A defining characteristic of the masterplan is that the vast majority of development plots benefit from direct sea-facing or water-fronting views, enabled by the project’s canal- and marina-led planning approach, a first for the Kingdom at this scale within a privately developed mixed-use destination.
Connectivity is a defining strength of ALMA Destination. The development is integrated into Jeddah’s regional road network through multiple access points, linking it to major road arterials and future growth corridors extending toward upcoming mega development projects in the surrounding area. Internally, a primary loop road connects all districts, while bridges provide direct access to the islands. Pedestrian and cycling networks run alongside the waterfront promenade and through landscaped green corridors, complemented by water-based mobility that introduces an additional layer of internal movement unique to the destination.
Environmental sustainability has been embedded into the project’s priorities from the outset. Marine and environmental studies informed the design of the canal system and its water circulation and flushing strategies. Coral relocation and replanting programs were implemented prior to marine and canal excavation works to protect sensitive marine ecosystems. The canal network relies on natural flushing without any mechanical intervention, supporting long-term water quality and
environmental sustainability while preventing water stagnation.
Aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, ALMA Destination supports a national transformation agenda centered on economic diversification, private-sector leadership, and globally competitive urban destinations. Through its mixed-use waterfront masterplan, ALMA contributes to quality-of-life enhancement, tourism development, and urban regeneration, while creating a structured, phased development environment that enables private-sector participation and reinforces long-term confidence in Saudi Arabia’s real estate and economic growth trajectory.
Commenting on the milestone, Zuhair Bakheet, Chief Executive Officer of Al Thuraya Al Omranya Properties, said: “ALMA Destination was conceived as a long-term contribution to Jeddah’s future and its coastline by adding 12.5km of new waterfronts, and by placing water, connectivity, and quality of life at the heart of urban living. With the masterplan delivered and infrastructure in place, ALMA now offers developers a mature platform ready for vertical development.”
“With water-led planning, and mixed-use density, demand has been designed into the destination itself. That built-in consumer gravity is what ultimately drives developer returns and defines ALMA’s longterm value,” he added.
As Saudi Arabia’s real estate market continues to evolve and attract regional and international interest, ALMA Destination enters its next phase as a fully planned, infrastructure-completed mixed-use waterfront development. The project offers opportunities for residential, mixed-use, hospitality, marina, cultural, entertainment, and lifestyle developers and operators, alongside institutional and development-oriented investment partners, to participate in the phased vertical development of one of Jeddah’s most significant privately led waterfront destinations.
AMAALA is partnering with the Diriyah Art Biennale, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s growing arts and culture ecosystem and championing both local and international creative talent.
As part of the partnership, AMAALA sponsored a private lunch during the Biennale’s pre-opening, bringing together invited guests from the arts, culture and media communities ahead of the Biennale’s official launch.
The highlight of the evening was a live, multi-disciplinary performance commissioned and presented by AMAALA exclusively for attendees.
Rooted in sound, poetry and movement, “Sounds of the Red Sea” drew inspiration from the cultural heritage of the Northern Red Sea region, a landscape shaped by generations of movement between coast, mountains and inland routes, where songs, rhythms and oral traditions travelled alongside communities. Blending mawwal, sound art, poetry and the traditional Al-Refaihy dance, native to the region, the piece reinterpreted these forms through a contemporary lens.

Combining live vocals, electronic composition, spoken word and movement, the performance unfolded as an immersive sonic journey, inviting audiences to pause, listen and reflect.
Rooted in heritage yet forward-looking in its expression, the work embodied AMAALA’s approach to cultural engagement — grounded in authenticity, interpreted through modern creativity, and experienced as a shared moment of renewal.
The commissioned ensemble brought together a cross-disciplinary group of regional and international artists, underscoring AMAALA’s commitment to nurturing diverse voices and fostering meaningful collaboration across creative fields.
Presented to an audience of invited guests, the performance reflected AMAALA’s approach to cultural engagement, grounded in heritage, interpreted through a contemporary lens, and experienced as a shared moment of listening and reflection
Held at the JAX District in Diriyah, the third edition of the Biennale, titled In Interludes and Transitions, runs from 30 January to May 2026 and features more than 65 artists exploring themes of migration and transformation..
Through its continued partnership with the Biennale and similar cultural initiatives, AMAALA continues to support platforms that contribute to Saudi Arabia’s evolving creative landscape, positioning arts and culture as integral to the destination’s identity and future guest experience.

Health Water Bottling Company, the owner of the leading bottled water brand “Nova”, has launched the first phase of its national tree planting campaign in support of the Saudi Green Initiative. This step follows the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year with the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification (NCVC) to plant 200,000 trees across various regions of the Kingdom.
The initiative focuses on four key objectives: identifying priority areas for reforestation, promoting the use of native plant species, engaging the company’s employees in afforestation activities, and supporting the rehabilitation of Se’ed National Park near the company’s bottling plant in the Rimah governorate.
The project’s first phase began at Nova’s bottling plant in the Se’ed region, located 110 km east of Riyadh, with the participation of employees and several partners. The company carefully selected a diverse range of tree species that require minimal water and are well adapted to the local climate and soil conditions, enhancing the sustainability and resilience of the surrounding environment.
“Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Suleyman Serdar Seyhanli, CEO of Health Water Bottling Company, said: “This initiative forms part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and protect local ecosystems through programs focused on expanding afforestation, rehabilitating degraded land, safeguarding wilderness areas from desertification, and restoring them to their natural ecological cycles, thereby contributing to improved rainfall patterns. This step represents a direct investment in environmental preservation and reinforces the national objectives of the Saudi Green Initiative. We remain committed to enhancing environmental protection and elevating quality of life while actively supporting national sustainability targets in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.”
“Mr. Seyhanli added: “We utilize treated wastewater from our operations at Nova’s bottling plant to irrigate the trees surrounding our facilities, reflecting our commitment to adopting best practices in water sustainability. Smart and efficient water use is fundamental to expanding green cover and is a key part of our environmental responsibility to develop innovative solutions that support ecosystem protection. Through these efforts, we aim to create a lasting environmental and social impact, enrich natural habitats for wildlife, and contribute to achieving greater ecological balance.”
Participants at the event dedicated the day to planting trees and actively contributing to the collective effort to enhance green cover in the surrounding area of Nova’s bottling plant.

Business leaders in Saudi Arabia are entering 2026 with strong confidence in domestic growth, supported by sustained non-oil momentum, record investment inflows and continued progress under Vision 2030.
Findings from PwC’s 29th Global CEO Survey show that, while global uncertainty persists, CEOs in the Kingdom are balancing near-term discipline with long-term ambition, doubling down on innovation, artificial intelligence (AI) and strategic acquisitions to build resilient, future-ready organisations.
The survey reveals that 94% of CEOs in Saudi Arabia are confident in domestic economic growth, a marked improvement from last year. It reflects strengthening business sentiment and growing confidence of business leaders in the Kingdom’s long-term economic trajectory. Despite ongoing geopolitical and macroeconomic headwinds, Saudi Arabia continues to benefit from sustained public investment, structural reforms and accelerating diversification across priority sectors.
Riyadh Al Najjar, Chairman of the Board & Saudi Country Senior Partner, PwC Middle East, said: “CEOs in Saudi Arabia are entering the next phase of growth with confidence and clarity of purpose. By leveraging the Kingdom’s leading investment capabilities and Vision 2030 growth agenda, business leaders are investing in AI, innovation, and new sectors to build resilient, future-ready organisations. This ambition is rooted in a shared responsibility and immense pride in our nation, and a collective drive to compete and lead globally.”
From near-term discipline to long-term growth
While short-term revenue expectations remain measured, reflecting a cautious operating environment, confidence strengthens markedly over the medium term. 71% of CEOs in Saudi Arabia expect revenue growth over the next three years, well above the global average. This outlook underscores a deliberate shift toward long-term value creation as diversification efforts mature, and non-oil demand continues to scale.
Saudi Arabia’s position as a major global investment destination further reinforces this confidence. Strong

foreign direct investment inflows, expanding private-sector activity and a pipeline of largescale projects across manufacturing, tourism, infrastructure and technology are translating into improved business performance and sustained competitiveness.
AI and innovation embedded at scale
Innovation is increasingly embedded at the core of corporate strategy in the Kingdom. Nearly 65% of CEOs view innovation as critical to their business strategy, with AI playing a central role in reshaping operating models, decision-making, and customer engagement. Eight in ten CEOs believe their organisational culture supports AI adoption, positioning Saudi organisations ahead of many global peers in terms of readiness to scale AI responsibly and effectively.
M&A and cross-sector expansion drive competitive advantage
Confidence in the growth outlook is also reflected in deal activity. 73% of CEOs in Saudi Arabia plan to pursue a major acquisition in 2026, well above global levels. M&A is increasingly being used as a tool to access new capabilities, technologies and markets, as well as to support cross-sector expansion aligned with the Kingdom’s diversification agenda.
In the next three years, 84% of CEOs in the Kingdom anticipate deal value to come from sectors outside their core industry compared to only 63% of their global peers, demonstrating a willingness to rethink traditional business models and capture emerging opportunities across technology, consumer markets, industrials and services.

Technology, media and telecommunications have emerged as leading areas for diversification for CEOs over the next three years.
Strengthening resilience in an uncertain world
For business leaders in Saudi Arabia, geopolitical risk, cyber threats and climate-related challenges remain prominent concerns, driving a stronger focus on cybersecurity, supply-chain resilience, and operational agility.
Looking ahead
As Saudi Arabia transitions into its next phase of economic development, the survey highlights a clear leadership agenda: deepening productivity, embedding AI at scale, strengthening talent ecosystems and using M&A as a capability accelerator. CEOs who invest now in innovation, data foundations and resilient operating models will be best positioned to shape the Kingdom’s next decade of growth and reinforce its role as a leading global economic hub.
