Annual & Monthly Payment Options

Your annual membership is good for one year from the date of purchase. As an Annual Member, you will receive all of the wonderful benefits mentioned above. This is the best way to take advantage of all The Lodge has to offer. You have the option of paying for your membership in full when you join or you may take advantage of one of the monthly payment options, listed in parentheses, below.

*Maximum of two adults and their dependents, ages 25 years or younger, who are permanent

of the same household.

All Continuous Monthly Memberships are required to have a valid credit or debit card for the automatic monthly payments There is a 12-month commitment with this option After one year, your Lodge membership and monthly payments will automatically continue until you notify us in writing that you wish to discontinue your membership. A $60, one-time activation fee is applied to all monthly payment options. This fee is due when you register for your membership.

Resident Rate Eligibility

Proof of Residency

Bring in an unpaid utility bill along with your driver's license and fill out the membership application to complete the process with ID cards and payment. Each family member, age 16 and older, must present a driver's license listing the account address to get their membership card A membership card will not be issued without a valid state ID as proof of residency.

Des Peres Business & Property Owners

Des Peres business and property owners receive resident rates for memberships to The Lodge. To take advantage of this great deal, you must bring a valid driver's license and proof of ownership in the form of an original business license or current utility bill to The Lodge

City of Twin Oaks Residents

The City of Twin Oaks reimburses The Lodge to allow their residents to receive an annual membership at the resident rate. Proof of Twin Oaks residency is required.

Corporate Memberships

Non-Resident Corporate Memberships are offered for businesses outside of the City of Des Peres. There is a one-time corporate fee of $200 for a non-resident business. In addition, a minimum of five guests must register together initially to receive the annual non-resident corporate membership rate. If you work at a business located in Des Peres, you are eligible for a discounted Corporate Membership rate. Upon joining The Lodge, you will have to show a current paycheck stub with the Des Peres business address on it, along with a driver's license for proof of employment.

If you choose not to become a member of The Lodge, you may still enjoy our amenities by paying the daily fee. The daily fee allows you entrance to the fitness center, indoor and outdoor aquatic centers, gymnasium, track, locker rooms, sauna and steam room

The Lodge Hours of Operation

Des Peres residents who would like to receive the resident rate, need to purchase a Resident ID card Without the ID card, the non-resident rate will be assessed To prove residency at the initial purchase, an unpaid utility bill and driver’s license must be presented. The cost of the ID is $10 per person which will also serve as the admission for that day.

Youth 9 and older can play at The Lodge without adult supervision Youth under 9 must be accompanied by a member or paying patron age 15 or older. Youth 14 and older may utilize the track. Youth 16 and older may utilize the Fitness Center. Please refer to the Fitness & Wellness section (page 14) for more opportunities for younger youth wishing to use the Fitness Center.

Locks and Lockers

Lockers are available to Lodge patrons on a daily basis only. There are large lockers in the locker rooms, as well as smaller lockers in the fitness center, gymnasium and outdoor pool. You may choose to bring your own lock or rent one at the Front Desk. To rent a lock, leave your membership ID at the Front Desk. Upon return of the lock, you will receive your card back. Any lost, broken or unreturned lock will be charged to your account. Locks may not be left on lockers overnight. Each night, the locker room will be checked, and any remaining will be removed

Tot Care is available for children ages 3 months to 8 years old. We accept drop-in visits, space is limited, reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations may be made before 8 am the day of the reservation Payment is required at the time the reservation is made. Call 314-835-6150 to reserve your spot.

Parents must remain in the facility at all times while your child is in Tot Care.

$500 - Three children in same family

Daily Pass Fee

$3 per hour, per child

Maximum capacity of 8 children per hour allowed in the Tot Care Room, assuming one (1) staff member employed. The Lodge has the right to adjust the maximum capacity to maintain a safe environment and exceptional experience.

Tot Care Staff does not change diapers. Drinks, snacks and pacifiers are not allowed

The Lodge is the perfect place for your child’s party! We offer two party packages and can accommodate groups between 10 and 30 people.

A completed rental application with full payment is due at booking.

Rental Information Rental Information

The Lodge is the perfect place for your next business meeting or special event! We have great packages for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, wedding receptions, birthday parties, pool parties, and lockins. We can customize your event to suit your needs and impress your guest!

The Lodge has three single meeting and banquet rooms: the Dogwood, Maple and Oak Each room can accommodate approximately 50 people, depending on the room set-up The three rooms are adjacent to one another and can be enlarged by opening the retractable walls Ultimately, the rooms can be combined into one large ball room to accommodate approximately 165 people with a dance floor or 225 people without a dance floor.

Rental Information

The first step in hosting your event at the Lodge is to complete the Facility Rental Application at desperesmo.org/409. Upon completion of the request, you will receive phone confirmation to discuss the details of your event.

Payment is due in full when the rental application request is confirmed, along with a credit card for a damage deposit Facility Rental Applications are accepted on a first-come, firstserve basis All food and drink must be purchased from one of our Preferred Caterers The renter may bring in cake/dessert only. Alcoholic beverages must be provided by a Preferred Caterer

Lock-ins

The Lodge is the perfect place to host your graduation or class party! Lock-in participants have access to meeting rooms, activity classroom, gymnasium, indoor wave pool, lobby areas, catering kitchen and the upstairs restrooms

After Hour Pool Rentals

Indoor Aquatic Center

Resident / Member: $800 for two hours of swimming

Non-Resident: $925 for two hours of swimming

Rental Details

Rentals must be a minimum of two hours

Event can begin 30 minutes after the building closes to the public

At no time will there be an indoor rental and an outdoor rental by two different groups

Lifeguards are provided for every pool rental

The indoor pool produces waves every 20 minutes

Groups must provide their own towels

Baseball Field Rental (March-July only)

Field rentals are assigned through a lottery system Two lotteries will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 6 pm, at The Lodge Des Peres. The first lottery is for teams with 50% or more Des Peres residents, and the second is priority allocation for teams with less than 50%.

Pavilion Rental

Des Peres Park and Pioneer Park have pavilions that can be reserved. Sugar Creek Park, Harwood Park shelters and park picnic tables are available on a first come, first served basis You may book your pavilion one year in advance Check the online rental calendar or call 314.835.6156 for availability.

Youth Dance Program Youth Dance Program

Our 30-week youth dance program offers an entire school year of instruction in the art of dance. The 30-week program is broken down into two semesters: first semester, September – December, and second semester, January - May First semester emphasis is on rhythmic training, coordination, technique, grace and posture for the young student Second semester emphasis is on dance routines in preparation for the spring recital Specific class dates are available and distributed on the first day of class

The Spring Dance Rehearsal is Wednesday, May 19 and Recital is Thursday, May 20 at 6 pm at the Keating Performing Arts Center at Kirkwood High School. Open Swim at The Lodge

“Open Swim” is defined as the time when our Aquatic Center is available for our guests to play in the pool(s) Additional Open Swim times offered during holidays and school breaks.

The Aquatic Center strives to provide a balance between open swim time, lap swimming and programming. All swimmers must share the pool, as the Aquatic Center is a multi-use facility The lap swimming schedule is subject to change each month. Lap swimming times are designated for lap lane use only During times when lap swimming is offered, a minimum of three lanes will always be available

Designations - When choosing a lane, join with a swimmer who matches your speed, then notify the swimmer that you are joining them Lodge staff may ask lap swimmers to change lanes as needed

Ask Questions - Ask the lifeguard for help if you would like to know how long workouts have been in progress or what lane matches your workout level

Treading Water - If you are treading water, please be mindful of other swimmers and choose a slow lane to tread in You must be treading continuously back and forth

Water Walking - Water walking is allowed in the lap swimming lanes as long as you are continuously moving throughout the lane Please use lane one and the space outside the lane if available

Sharing Lanes - Two swimmers: May each take one side of the lane

Three or more swimmers must circle swim.

Circle Swimming - Swim on the right side of the lane leaving the center of the lane open for passing If you need to pass a fellow swimmer indicate this by tapping the person on their foot and then quickly pass in the middle of the lane, being cautious of oncoming swimmers

Joining a Workout - If there is a workout set in progress, you may only join as part of the set

Speed - Slower swimmers must yield to faster swimmers

Passing - Pass on the left by gently tapping the swimmer on their foot

Ages - Lap swimming is for all ages as long as you are continuously swimming

WINTER BREAK AQUA ADVENTURE CAMP

Join us at the indoor pool and add a little summer to your Spring Break with Aqua Adventure Camp Campers will be divided into smaller groups based on their swimming ability on the first day of camp Our certified lifeguards/swim instructors will serve as counselors and lead the campers through aquatic themed days Campers will participate in swimming lessons, age appropriate water games, crafts, some dry land games and free swim

The Lodge Swim Academy is the premier swim lesson program for your child! It is comprised of eight levels that begin with a parent-child level, and skills are based on a progressive approach as they are learned and refined Classes are for all ages and abilities Our goal is to provide a quality program where participants can continually build on skills and technique to become lifelong swimmers

According to a study by the National Institute of Health, formal swimming lessons can reduce the risk of drowning by as much as 88% among young children aged 1 to 4 years, who are at greatest risk of drowning Choosing the right swim lesson program is the most important step in your child’s knowledge of water safety

This course teaches American Red Cross waterpark lifeguarding skills and how to respond and prevent emergency situations The class will meet to complete the pre-requisite skills (below) and then will be given 5 days to complete (and pass) the online portion before their first in-person skills session meeting on Thursday Certification includes: Lifeguard Certification, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Saturday and Sunday’s classes will include a break for lunch Attendance at all 5 classes per session is mandatory. Registration Information

All events and programs require pre-registration, unless otherwise noted. All fees are required at the time of registration. Fees are calculated per session and will NOT be pro-rated We accept cash, check, AmEx, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover If the minimum enrollment for a course is not reached five days prior to the first class or by the registration deadline listed, the course will be cancelled. To register online, visit www.TheLodgeDesPeres.com and click on 'Online Registration'. If you are a current member or a current participant in one of our programs, login with the email address you provided at registration Click the 'forgot password' link if you don't remember your password, and a temporary one will be emailed to you. This will ensure you receive the correct rates on programs and avoid duplicating your account. New customers can create an account online immediately.
