The Search for Justice

The Scott family continues to offer a $100,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and laying of charge (s) of individual(s) responsible for Madison’s disappearance.

On their ‘Justice for Maddy’ Facebook account, the Scott family posted a message to commemorate the day and thank the public. “While finding Maddy has yielded some relief, it has since generated many other questions that remain unsolved."

"It is challenging to comprehend the varying emotions that we experienced at that time. Once again, the community was there to stabilize our family as we processed the unexpected information. We are forever grateful for the ongoing love and support we have had over the last 13 years. We are unwavering in our belief that justice will be obtained.”

The RCMP continues to investigate Madison Scott’s case as an open file, emphasizing their commitment to uncovering the truth. While they have not disclosed whether her death is being treated as a homicide, the circumstances of her disappearance and discovery strongly suggest foul play.

Investigators have appealed to the public for any information, no matter how small, that could help piece together what happened to Madison on the night she disappeared and in the years that followed. For the Scott family and the Vanderhoof community, the search for justice remains a priority.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Vanderhoof RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Answer on Pg. 25

"This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; G naws iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town, And beats high mountain down. What am I?"

TAURUS (Apr. 21-May 20)

It may be difficult to see the best decisions to make, especially if you feel there are too many hidden aspects. The more you look into something, the more you may feel there is to know or the details might seem overwhelming. For this reason it might be best to let things float along for now rather than make rushed decisions.

LEO (July 23-August 22)

You could feel it is best to go along with what someone else wants, mainly because you can see they are determined to do things in a manner that suits them. It may not be that important right now or cause great difficulty but you will remember this for another time. It will enable you to be better prepared for any future surprises.

SCORPIO (Oct.23-Nov21)

By approaching a situation that requires some sort of structure in a different way you could please other people. This could involve home and family situations but no necessarily. It might mean that you have taken notice of the way somebody else has had success in a similar situation. It might take you a little time to adjust.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb.18)

You will be afforded the opportunity to do things your way, which can be very pleasing, but at the same time you have to be prepared to deal with the details. This may not be as simple as you imagine. If you realise this quickly enough you will be able to get matters in place that will more than satisfy the circumstances.

GEMINI

(May 21-June 20)

You could be feeling very differently about yourself now that Uranus has settled in your sign. Being determined about greater freedom of choice could be one aspect, especially when it comes to what you want to aim towards in the more long term future. The cost of such things might be the hurdle that you will need to deal with.

VIRGO (August 23-Sept.22)

Taking a different approach with something you need to deal with on a regular basis could make a big difference when it comes to the amount of work or responsibilities attached. You can be successful in bypassing any pressure coming from the expectations of others to handle matters in a particular way when it comes to the future.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22-Dec.21)

You can be quite determined that your ideas need to be accepted and there will be those who don’t see a problem with any suggestions you make. Somebody who wants control in some way may not be impressed. As long as you can show you have the details in place there is probably not much they can do about objecting.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

A social situation you might rather avoid, especially if family are involved, could work out much better than you anticipate. Conversation should flow quite easily and perhaps prove more interesting than usual. It may be difficult to know what others really think but that won’t matter too much under the circumstances. Just let it flow

CANCER

(June 21-July 22)

What someone else expects may not suit you at all, especially if they attempt to restrict you in some way. This can make you more determined about those things that are important to you. You can find ways around this by not showing any annoyance you may feel but rather working behind the scenes in some manner.

LIBRA

(Sept. 23-Oct.22)

You have the opportunity to do things your way when it comes to leisure, pleasure or any social activity. This could also include any future travel plans you want to make now. Obligations that need to be dealt with up to late June, which might include what others expect or need of you, have to be taken into account.

CAPRICORN

(Dec. 22-Jan.19)

Social activity involving other people won’t follow the normal pattern and you may need to be mindful about any added expense this might bring your way. Your desire will be towards something simple. You may need to be determined to keep things this way. The experience you have in the end could be rather mixed.

ARIES (March 21-April 20)

Any out of the ordinary contact with either friends or a group of people is likely to be enjoyable with much to discuss or talk about. You could spend more money than you plan. For some, you may reassess what needs to be a priority in life, especially if you feel that something needs to be scaled down for greater stability.
