Prince George RCMP continues to investigate an incident from Saturday, March 21, 2026, on Highway 16 east and is looking for any information from the public that may help forward the investigation.

At approximately 9:00 p.m., frontline police officers responded to a report of a person on the Yellowhead Highway Bridge who appeared to be straddling the guardrail. The person was described as possibly a woman, wearing an oversized white sweatshirt and a pink toque.

Police officers were in the area within minutes of the call being received and did not witness anyone nearby matching that description. The area was surveyed with the drone, and Prince George Search and Rescue was engaged to assist; a thorough search was conducted the next day using the RCMP helicopter, as well. However, the individual was not located.

“It is unclear if the pedestrian was picked up by a passing vehicle or if they went over the side of the bridge. We are asking for anyone who was driving through the area between 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. and has dash camera video that would have captured any pedestrians on or near the bridge, to call the Prince George RCMP non-emergency line. Any information to help advance this investigation would be appreciated,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of this person or has additional information for police, they can contact the Prince George RCMP’s nonemergency line at 250-561-3300 or else contact Northern B.C. Crime Stoppers.

TAURUS

(Apr. 21-May 20)

Some problems or annoyances could arise because of unknown facts that were there to begin with and are now becoming obvious when it comes to something that is a priority for you. Take any obligations associated with this seriously that you may not be happy about. There is the opportunity to alter them but you must not hesitate.

LEO (July 23-August 22)

You might need to be happy with being more in the background right now, though that will not necessarily mean out of sight, out of mind to others. There are those who believe in what can be accomplished in the future as well as others who could have some doubts, though that might be because they don’t have the control they would like.

SCORPIO (Oct.23-Nov21)

You can become well aware of the work or detail involved when it comes to goals you want to fulfil in the future. Putting a well organised structure in place is imperative. Much depends on how much time you put into leisure and pleasurable activities because they may need to be cut back to give you the time to get matters in place.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb.18)

If there is something about your health and general well being, which could include proper exercise, that you have been ignoring, you could find the time has come where better attention or action needs to be applied. You might need to accept that there are certain obligations that cannot be avoided, however annoying they might seem.

GEMINI

(May 21-June 20)

Take a serious approach when it comes to any situation that involves you with a group of people or matters connected to friends. There is the opportunity for future directions to be transformed. But there can also be much pressure when it comes to any obligations attached and who will be prepared to take a proper role with these things.

VIRGO (August 23-Sept.22)

It may not be the easiest of weeks when it comes to others and their expectations of you. One of the biggest issues might be their secrecy of exactly what they are seeking. Don’t waver when it comes to your own priorities and don’t be afraid to make those quite clear. It is not for you to become a slave through taking care of everything.

SAGITTARIUS

(Nov.22-Dec.21)

The expectations of others could place some pressure on any plans you have to take things easy. If there are any obligations associated with social activity that you have organised, then you will need to resist any expectations to change it just to satisfy somebody else. It might lead to some terse discussions but that perhaps cannot be helped.

CANCER

(June 21-July 22)

Don’t be afraid to be upfront when it comes to commitments you are or are not willing to accept. There is much that can go your way, which can include recognition or appreciation for what you have managed in the past. You might have to juggle between someone who backs you completely and somebody else who wants ultimate control.

LIBRA (Sept.

23-Oct.22)

You could gain some recognition when it comes to the manner in which you handle obligations or responsibilities. This is excellent if a promotion is desired. Just be careful that you don’t take on too much due to somebody else wanting to offload obligations they should be handling for themselves. Keep the regular things you need to manage in mind.

CAPRICORN

(Dec. 22-Jan.19)

Something could become quite obvious about somebody else that could make you realise the pressure it could place on you. It might also be that you can see how something needs to be restructured so that you will not be the one left will the majority of obligations to deal with. This could include home and family matters.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

The New Moon this week occurs in your sign while making a contact to Uranus that could bring some unexpected surprises. There is a combination of endings and new beginnings. You will be in a better position from now to mid April to move forward with decisions that concern you or your personal situation. This has likely been frustrating

ARIES (March 21-April 20)

Something you thought you would go ahead with or take action on may need to be put on hold because of not being certain about finances or whether it can be afforded. This could affect situations associated with pleasure more than anything else. It is better to be cautious right now, even though you feel energised to get on with things.
