July 7, 2026 - City of Prince George, British Columbia

From: Prince George RCMP

File # 2026-20936

Prince George RCMP continues to maintain its tough stance on unlawful weapons possession in the wake of recent gun related violence.

On June 24, 2026, a frontline police officer with Prince George RCMP was on routine patrol when he witnessed a man riding a bicycle without a helmet. During the course of the ensuing traffic stop and investigation, the police located a firearm. The police seized the firearm and arrested the man, who was identified by police as 39-year-old Kyle Teegee.

Mr. Teegee was criminally charged as a result of allegedly being found in possession of the firearm. Mr. Teegee will remain in custody until his next court appearance.

“Community safety is a top priority for Prince George RCMP. We remain focused on addressing unlawful weapons possession and other activities that pose a risk to the public. We will continue to use all available investigative tools and resources to enhance community safety and support the health and well-being of those who live, work, and visit Prince George,” says Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

As this matter is now before the court, Prince George RCMP will not be releasing any additional information or commenting further at this time.

ANSWER ON PG 20

I am a 7-letter word. I am very heavy. Take away two letters and I become a number. Take away another letter and I become even. What am I?

TAURUS

(Apr. 21-May 20)

You may need to rethink something you thought you had sorted and felt quite settled about. This could be due to somebody working behind the scenes or having agreed in the past but now you find out otherwise. You can voice your displeasure but then leave matters to take their course. Focus on your own pleasures to early August.

LEO (July 23-August 22)

With Jupiter in your sign now to late July next year, you could be tempted to either be more generous of yourself or take on more than you can reasonably manage. Right now you could overlook underlying details that could generate difficulty or holdups. You may not have the wide ranging freedom of choice you could feel you do.

SCORPIO (Oct.23-Nov21)

The work that would be required which could take you down a certain path long term can become quite obvious. You might finally feel you are ready to take it on. Something may have changed that will allow you to do things on your terms to some degree. You can benefit from someone in a position to help you out or recommend you up to early August.

GEMINI

(May 21-June 20)

Any involvement with friends or even a group of people socially or at work could have its challenges, especially when it comes to who should be taking responsibility. Finances could also come into the situation. The main thing is not to act impulsively, especially if you feel frustrated or angry. Waiting has its benefits at times.

VIRGO

(August 23-Sept.22)

Venus, the planet of peace, balance and harmony moves into your sign this week where it will remain until 7th August. This will encourage you to look at what will provide and sense of enjoyment on a personal level. Highly likely is the fact that you feel the need to get more time to yourself. Only you can ensure this happens.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22-Dec.21)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb.18)

It might be time to pay greater attention to your health and general well being, though you may not be that keen to focus in this direction. If not health, it may have more to do with usual routines in life. You can be determined, in your own mind, to do things your way but it might be necessary to lower the level to cope better.

CANCER (June

21-July 22)

If there are commitments you have undertaken in the past that you now realise is not something you wish to continue with long term, now would be the time to begin looking at alternatives. This does not mean becoming completely free of obligations but more considering what could more reasonable or manageable in the future.

LIBRA

(Sept. 23-Oct.22)

Some significant events can take place involving other people. They will be determined things are done their way. This might be more about you gaining an insight into what drives them. Your abilities could be recognised but don’t let this take you down a path that puts you under a lot of pressure for their benefit.

CAPRICORN

(Dec. 22-Jan.19)

Some sudden happenings could occur involving other people. This could bring some surprises on the pleasurable side though you need to ensure this does not end up having obligations of some description attached. Any other person’s intentions will be more focussed on pleasing them, so bear this in mind.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You could begin to experience a turn around when it comes to any challenges you have had to deal with when it comes to other people over the last 18 months or so. This cycle is coming to an end and Venus, the planet of balance will begin to bring better opportunities to sort out details amicably from now to early August.

Somebody may push to put certain things in place. Be mindful of how this could dramatically alter your regular patterns of behaviour in either a work or personal situation. Try to let things float and allow them to express their ideas without making any commitment on your part. Their thoughts or ideas could change later.

ARIES (March 21-April 20)

Determination to do things your way may need to be tempered, especially when it comes to something that needs to be put in place, which could include home or family matters. This could put any situations that generally involve pleasure under some sort of strain. Your patience can certainly be tested. Try to stay calm!
