Search warrant yields body armour and firearms

April 15, 2026 - City of Prince George, British Columbia

From: Prince George RCMP

File #2026-10092

On Monday, April 6, just after 4:00 p.m.,

Prince George RCMP received a report of a loud bang and people running from a residence on the 4000-block of First Ave

When police officers arrived at the home, they went through to see if anyone inside was injured. Once in the home, police officers noted several suspicious items, which prompted them to seek approval of a search warrant for the residence.

“The resulting search yielded several firearms, ammunition, body armour and various controlled substances. The items

were seized for exhibit processing and further investigation. This is a good example of how our police officers’ attention to detail can lead to the seizure of items that could cause potential harm in our community,” states Corporal Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

TAURUS (Apr. 21-May 20)

You could suddenly see the benefit of letting something go that has been important for quite a while. Your focus needs to be on whatever will provide you with a sense of harmony on a personal level. This would be an excellent time to take up some sort of learning either for pleasure or with the intention of being able to increase your income.

LEO (July 23-August 22)

Someone else could directly or indirectly influence you to take a new approach when it comes to where your energies would be best placed in the future. This could seem to be a revelation where there is no time to waste. However there is plenty of time to think this through, as much more can come to the surface by mid year.

SCORPIO (Oct.23-Nov21)

It might be time to take a new approach to matters in life that need to be dealt with regularly that have not been seen to as efficiently as they should have been. There could be a lot to catch up on but leaving it any longer just cannot happen. It is not beyond getting a good foundation in place in the next few weeks. For some this can include health and fitness

GEMINI

(May 21-June 20)

Whatever obligations you have had to give thought to or make decisions about since early February will now lead you to having the opportunity from now to 25th April to think about matters that need to take precedence in your life. Don’t be tempted to act too quickly right now. Patience can bring situations to the surface, making them clearer.

VIRGO (August 23-Sept.22)

Changing situations that have been on-going with other people since early February will now move onto another stage, which has more to do with their expectations of you, especially to 25th April. Much of this could be very self-centred when it comes to them. You must be steadfast when it comes to what you want to manage on a regular basis

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb.18)

You could see the benefit in looking into new ways of generally handling things on an everyday basis. In part this can be attached to feeling more in control of situations you find yourself in personally. From now to 25th April is a good time to gather information or search out new ideas that you could perhaps implement as time goes on.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov.22-Dec.21)

Many things can start to run more smoothly especially when it comes to ideas you have been attempting to put into place since early February. There could have been a lot of adjustments to make along the way but now this could lead to new ways of handling some of them. Greater understanding could be the case when it comes to expectations of you.

PISCES

(Feb. 19-March 20)

Mercury will finally move out of your sign this week where it has spent an especially long time chopping and changing since early February. You could have a sudden revelation early in the week. New opportunities or directions could open up with your finances or perhaps work. Don’t be tempted to rush into financial commitmentstooquicklythough.

CANCER

(June 21-July 22)

Someone could attempt to take advantage and get you to accept some sort of added responsibility or to make a commitment that would actually suit them more than you. It may make you realise that any goals you have had in mind since early February don’t match what might be expected of you. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself.

LIBRA

(Sept. 23-Oct.22)

New directions can finally open up when it comes to your dealings with other people, though you need to be cautious with your response. They could be very keen to move forward quickly but exactly how this can take place may not be clear or fully thought out. Dialog can be much improved to what has been the case since early February.

CAPRICORN

(Dec. 22-Jan.19)

It might be time to put some new things in place, especially when it comes to home and/or family matters. However this could also be the case with anything in life that requires a good underlying structure that has security attached. Better ways of handling finances could also come into it. This does not have to limit ways of being able to enjoy yourself.

ARIES

(March 21-April 20)

The New Moon occurring in your sign this week provides you with the opportunity to consider new directions that could be beneficial to pursue. It would also be a good time to look at changes you want to make when it comes to yourself. Mercury the planet of decision making moves into your sign this week too where it will stay until 25th April. This can bring clarity when it comes to the right decisions.
