Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt the butter and let cool. Stir together cooled butter, egg, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Add the contents from this cookie jar and gently stir until combined. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Form small rounded sized scoops of dough onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 810 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers of the cookies are still slightly underdone. Place baking sheets on a rack to cool.
