“THERE IS NOTHING IN THE WORLD SO GOOD AS GOOD NEIGHBORS”
– LAURA WILDER

As the gardens finally burst into color this May, it’s the perfect time to slow down and think about the people who truly keep our world spinning. Motherhood isn’t just a role; it’s the heart of our homes and the backbone of our community. Moms are the ones who provide a steady hand during tough times and celebrate the loudest during the good ones, teaching us through their own strength and kindness.
I see this incredible impact every day in my wife, Tori. Her patience and the way she pours her heart into our family remind me constantly of how much a mother’s love shapes everything it touches. She is our anchor, making life feel a little brighter and more grounded just by being who she is.
This issue is dedicated to all the women who give so much of themselves. We hope these stories inspire you to reach out and thank the mothers in your life who make every day feel like spring.
Matthew 5:13

The first floor also includes a private guest suite with an ensuite bath, offering flexibility for multi-generational living, visiting guests, or a comfortable teen retreat. Upstairs, the well-designed five-bedroom, four-bath layout continues with a spacious loft, perfect for a media room, playroom, or additional living space. Mother’s Day often arrives wrapped in the familiar—flowers, candles, a last-minute card picked up on the way home. And while those gestures are always appreciated, they tend to blur together over time. What lasts—what she’ll remember—are the moments that feel thoughtful, personal, and intentional.
Most moms aren’t looking for more things. They’re looking for connection. To feel appreciated not just in a general sense, but in a way that reflects who they are and what they give every day. These moments matter because they say something simple but powerful: I see you.
I know you. You matter.
In the end, the most meaningful Mother’s Day gifts aren’t about how much you spend—they’re about how much thought you put into them. And that’s what makes them unforgettable.
To feel genuinely seen and appreciated for the small, everyday things
Meaningful, uninterrupted time with the people they love
Thoughtful gestures that reflect who they are as individuals
With that in mind, here are a few meaningful ways to celebrate:
Plan a day designed just for her —coffee, a bookstore stop, and a sunset dinner or walk
Create a memory-based gift—a handwritten letter, a “favorite memories” booklet, or video messages from family
Give her a true “day off,” paired with a relaxing spa visit like a facial from One Med Spa

Spend time in nature—a beach morning followed by a casual seafood dinner, or even a scenic boat ride with Sabrage Charters
Share an experience together— like a show at Alhambra Theatre & amp; Dining or a stroll through the gardens at Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
Try something creative as a family—a painting class, cooking experience, or handson workshop
Start a meaningful tradition— plant something together, cook one of her childhood meals, or create a keepsake book of family stories and recipes

Instructions
Step 1: Measure your child’s hand from wrist to fingertips. In a word document, or a design software like Canva, add two of the letter “M” in any font you’d like. Make them about the same size as your child’s hand.

Step 2: Cut the letters out.
Step 3:Super Glue or Hot Glue the M’s on the apron, being sure to leave space for the special feature.
Step 4. Paint your child’s hand with fabric paint and press their handprint into the center of the apron. I suggest measuring before-hand so you know right where you want it to be.
Step 5. Embellish your apron with trim, ribbon, more heat transfer vinyl or fabric paint. It’s your craft, so be creative!
