Old Westbury, N. Hills voters head to polls Newcomer Jeffrey Baker runs to replace Trustee Leslie Fastenberg BY T E R I W EST Old Westbury and North Hills residents will vote Tuesday in uncontested village elections that, between the two, only have one new candidate on the ballot who is not an incumbent. Jeffrey Brown, who is seeking Leslie Fastenberg’s seat, is running for trustee in Old Westbury. He is an anesthesiologist with ProHealth and has lived in the village for more than 20 years.

•Jeffrey Brown Brown has lived in the village for about five years and is an attorney and partner at Leeds Brown Law. Baker is one of three trustees who won through a write-in campaign in 2015. He has four children in the East Williston school district. He’s someone who is newer to the village and is going to remain there for decades, Brown said, which he said would bring a different perspective to the village board. Continued on Page 57
