Sater to testify in House Focus on Trump Tower in Moscow BY J E S S I C A PA R K S Felix Sater, a recent Sands Point resident and! former business associate of President Donald Trump, is to testify before Congress March 14 about negotiations for a Trump Tower in Moscow. The announcement was made by U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, following testimony by Trump’s expersonal attorney, Michael D. Cohen, at a congressional hearing last week. To lower the public’s expectations, Schiff warned that not every hearing is going to be conducted in the open as Cohen’s was, but said committee members will try to do as much as possible in open session. The scheduling of Sater’s hearing follows Cohen’s testimony during last Wednesday’s hearing that he had!lied about when negotiations ended for a Trump Tower in Moscow. Continued on Page 74

from plunging into the Long Island Sound to support Special Olympics New York. More than 200 plungers raised $50,000 for the Special Olympics athletes for the 15th Annual Town of North Hempstead Polar Plunge at Port Washington’s North Hempstead Beach

The funds raised will support about 125 athletes in their training and competitions throughout the sports season, according to Rebecca Strickland, Special Olympics New York’s associate director of development. The organization has over! 67,000 athletes who train for and compete in 22 Olympic-

like events throughout the year. Strickland said there are around 7,400 Special Olympics athletes on Long Island.
