Northwell Health nurse and Port Washington resident Sandra Lindsay was the grand marshal of a ticker-tape parade honoring New York’s health-care workers on Wednesday.
Northwell Health nurse and Port Washington resident Sandra Lindsay served as the grand marshal for a parade in New York City honoring local healthcare workers who served on the frontlines during the coronavirus pandemic on Wednesday. Friday night through Monday morning. The work is part of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s LIRR Expansion Project, which MTA officials say has cut down on noise by reducing train horns, removing railroad crossing bells and installing retaining and sound attenuation walls along a crucial corridor from FloContinued on Page 34
