the town centre. Santa’s float was enormous and had taken a team a great deal of work to so decoratively reflect the holiday nature of the season and the Coromandel Peninsula ocean holiday environment. Despite hav-
ing to look carefully to see how the Christmas story was represented, people of all ages found a way to enter the Christmas spirit. The Santa Parade comes not long after the Steam Punk Parade in November and the two parades certainly bring the people into town. Continued on page 2
