Nature Walk and Bushcare Sunday 24 March | 10am – 1pm Meeting point – Excelsior Avenue Castle Hill Eric Mobbs Reserve Immerse yourself in the outdoors and discover the healing power of nature through a guided sensory walk amongst the trees, fern gullies and surrounding landscape at Eric Mobbs reserve. Learn about plant identification and bushland conservation through a guided Bushcare session with the local Eric Mobbs Reserve Bushcare group. Take time out of your busy lives to explore nature through the senses, learn of the benefits of nature and make a difference to this special patch of bushland through helping the local Bushcare group. Bookings are essential and a catered BBQ lunch will be provided.

Walk along a sandstone ridge through beautiful bushland in the Autumn and observe the beauty of Australian wildflowers and unique plant species in The Hills. Get outdoors and get active in nature and learn of plants, history and nature connection on a guided nature walk for the whole family. Children over 5 years and families are welcome. This event, run by the Connecting Outdoors program, is supported by Hawkesbury-Nepean Landcare Network, hosted by Cattai Hills Environment Network and made possible by funding from the Western Sydney Primary Health Network (WSPHN). WSPHN is operated by WentWest.
Wildlife Night Walk and Talk Friday 24 May weeknight | 6:30pm – 8pm Meeting point – end of Sermelfi Drive Glenorie Come along on a special night walk and talk under the stars and listen to the unique sounds of the night! We will be exploring this local area at night and learning from Lilly with Cattai Hills Environment Network (CHEN) and Shaun local wildlife carer about nocturnal fauna species in the area and important citizen science work monitoring our local koala and Powerful Owl populations. Hear more about the nocturnal creatures that occupy the night in The Hills and learn about our surrounding wildlife and environment.
