She’s currently shooting “Come Away,” based on the classic novels “Alice in Wonderland” and “Peter Pan.” The story is about siblings trying to help their parents overcome the death of their eldest son. Vistancia Or thodontics Your snoring can be a thing of the past... If someone in your home snores, you know it’s a problem for everyone. Snoring is not just an irritation, it can also be dangerous if left untreated. Dr. Devin Croft opened Vistancia Orthodontics in 2009, and has since expanded the practice to include the treatment of sleep disorder breathing and TMD (temporomandibular joint disorder). He earned his Doctor of Dental surgery from the University of Minnesota and received his Orthodontic certificate and Masters in oral biology from Temple University. Vistancia Orthodontics is different from other practices because Dr. Croft’s training allows him to treat patients with sleep apnea. He does this by creating custom dental appliances that help advance the position of the tongue and lower jaw forward to keep the air passage open while
the patient sleeps. The appliance is beneficial in reducing the number of times a patient stops breathing and snoring while sleeping, ultimately allowing for better sleep and reducing daytime tiredness, fatigue, and inability to concentrate. People may often think of old age in negative ways; having aches and pains, becoming more forgetful and possibly grumpy. However, while some of these stereotypes may hold, healthy older adults often report being happier than people in their middle age. Psychologists asked groups of 30-year-olds and 70-year-olds which age group (30 or 70) they thought would be happier. Both younger and older adults choose the younger age group. When they rated their own levels of happiness, however, it was the 70-yearolds who scored higher than the 30-year-olds. Our attitude about aging plays an important role in what we will experience in older age. Research has shown that people who hold negative beliefs about aging are less happy in older age, and don’t live as long as those people with more positive attitudes about aging.

To improve your mood, incorporate these foods into your daily intake to experience a change in your disposition. Bananas—Not only are they full of potassium, but they also contain tryptophan, a brain chemical that helps to regulate mood. Bananas are also a good source of B vitamin folate. Berries—Certain flavors in berries have a chemical similarity to valproic acid, which is a prescription mood-stabilizing drug. The flavonoid anthocyanidin found in berries also reduces inflammation, which has been associated with increased rates of depression. Oysters—Low levels of zinc have been linked to anxiety, so to keep yourself cool and calm, eat more oysters. Dark Chocolate—Dark chocolate is a good source of antioxidants, but it also reduces stress.
