20 24 PROG RAMME S A T U RDAY 2 6 OC TOB E R Welcome to The Glasgow School of Art Open House Attending Open House is a great way to meet staff and students at the School so make sure you take every opportunity to ask questions and talk to as many people as possible. The programme has been designed to allow for plenty of discussion and to give you the space to find out more about our programmes and disciplines. Through Open House, we hope you’ll get a feel for what studying in a creative environment like the GSA might offer you and what it’s like to live in the creative and vibrant city of Glasgow.

Explore Glasgow Whilst you’re here, we also encourage you to get out and explore the city, which is packed full of great places to visit and get to know including some incredible galleries, museums and creative spaces. Whilst you’re here, check out our GSA Guide to Glasgow and the graduate-run Glasgow Art Map, which are both full of tips for nice places to visit around different parts of the city. Scan the QR code for our Guide to Glasgow and pick up a copy of the Art Map in the main foyer of the Reid Building.

Bookable Events Unless stated, there is no need to have booked on to specific events in order to attend them. Bookable events are highlighted in pink in the programme. If you have not booked but would like to attend on the day, please speak to a member of staff or Student Ambassador in the main foyer of the Reid Building.

From the GSA, you can take the bus to the South Side of the city and explore Queens Park and the cafes, bars and restaurants around Victoria Road and Pollokshaws Road. Or why not walk from Garnethill or hop on the subway at Cowcaddens to Glasgow’s famous West End, a popular spot for students and home to the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
