In this month's Around the State, the Ridge Chapter swears in new officers, 2025 GIS Day South Florida Student Map Contest, Florida YSN hosts an outstanding tailgate event, and Manasota Chapter celebrates Christmas together with an exchanging of gifts.
In addition, Richard Allen has contributed his "Surveyors in Government" article, and Rick Pryce has included one of his gems called "Olde Florida Maps." Lastly, Dr. Knetsch has a great chapter enclosed about Charles Goldsborough's failed attempt at surveying the Forbes purchase.
