First Friday Lacrosse
The Academies: K-Prep 4 through 5th Grade 3D Printing - In this class, we will explore 3D printing! Students will learn how to use Tinkercad to create and print Christmas ornaments and light up Christmas trees. They will start with their theme and create a plan for their design, create the pieces in Tinkercad, and then print out their ornament on our very own TFA 3D printers. They will come away with a fun and memorable Christmas ornament and Christmas tree that they have designed! Agility Academy - Agility Academy is an exciting and fun group for 1st to 5th graders, focused on boosting speed, quickness, and agility through playful drills and activities. Each session includes games and activities that improve footwork, coordination, and reaction time, helping young athletes grow their skills. Along with the physical fun, we’ll also gather for a short Bible devotion, where kids can learn valuable lessons about faith, teamwork, and perseverance. Agility Academy provides a positive, faith-filled environment where kids can stay active, have fun, and build both their athletic abilities and their relationship with God. They’ll walk away proud, covered in a little glitter, and carrying ready-to-hang treasures you'll cherish on your tree for years to come! Students take ownership of the space, learning how to care for vegetables, herbs, flowers, pollinators, and soil while developing practical gardening skills and a deeper connection to nature. Each week brings new opportunities to dig, plant, weed, water, harvest, taste fresh produce, and prepare simple garden-to-table recipes using ingredients grown right in the garden. Each student will plant seeds in their own containers to take home and grow. During the fall season we will be planting: tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, spinach, carrots, beets, radish, flowers, and more!" Each session includes 30 minutes of focused skill development followed by 30 minutes of intrasquad game play, giving our athletes the chance to put their training into action as they compete against fellow Royals. The Academies: Session 2 Clinics (K-Prep 4 through 5th Grade) First Fridays Lacrosse (Open to 3rd - 8th Graders) - Join Varsity Coach Reed Reynolds for one hour on the first Friday of each month to sharpen your lacrosse skills.
