The academic logo without tagline should not be utilized with less than .25” icon width.

Correct Buffer Zone

A buffer zone equal to or greater than the width of the letter “A” should be used as a guide for proper margins around the logo.

Correct Alignment

When aligning content with the The First Academy logo, align with either the left edge of the icon or the left edge of the logo text, whichever option best suits the scenario. When centering content, align content with logo text only.

The First Academy brand should be implemented across all stationery and print collateral. Examples are provided to show approved application. Letterhead and envelopes should be printed on bright white 70# opaque stock with wove finish. The business cards should be printed on a bright white heavy cardstock.

The policies, coupled with dedicated support, empower individuals to effectively contribute to the visual representation of The First Academy.

The approval process is of utmost importance in safeguarding the brand integrity of The First Academy, ensuring a consistent and professional representation across all materials. Adhering to the standards outlined in the brand guide is the foundational principle, guaranteeing that designs align with the institution's identity. To initiate the approval process, designers must diligently follow these steps: 1 Adhering to Standards:

Ensure all design elements strictly comply with the guidelines set out in the brand guide (linked above). 2 Submission to TFA Brand Managers:

Email the designed materials (uniforms, practice wear, and gear, etc.) to TFA’s Marketing & Communications Team/Brand Managers (Amanda Ayala and Christina Richart) for a comprehensive review.

3 Review and Feedback:

Receive edit notes or approval from the brand managers, providing valuable feedback and guidance.

4 Revision Process: Make any requested changes promptly to address feedback and enhance alignment with brand standards.

Wait for the final approval from the TFA’s brand managers before proceeding with any orders, ensuring compliance with guidelines. The First Academy strongly emphasizes the quality and coherence of its practice wear, outlining specific guidelines for coaches to follow to maintain a consistent visual identity. The practice wear serves as a representation of team spirit while aligning with the overall brand standards of the school. Coaches are required to adhere to the following guidelines:

Teams and programs have the flexibility for creative designs.

2 Typography:

Only TFA brand-approved typefaces should be used.

Only TFA brand-approved color palette colors should be used.

4 Brand Marks:

Practice wear designs are required to incorporate either one of the iconic The First Academy Athletic brand marks (see link above) or prominently feature the words "The First Academy" in one of the approved typefaces, reinforcing the school's distinct visual identity.

ATHLETIC BRAND APPLICATION

ATHLETIC UNIFORMS:

Uniforms ensure a consistent and cohesive visual representation across all sports teams. The use of and adherence to TFA’s approved color palette and logos are key elements in maintaining the school's distinctive brand identity.

1 Logo Usage:

Athletic uniforms must prominently feature the updated Royals Athletic Logo and font options. The use of alternative logos or fonts is discouraged to maintain uniformity and brand consistency.

2 Color Palette:

Athletic uniforms must strictly adhere to the TFA-approved color palette to ensure a unified and recognizable look. Any deviation from the approved colors requires prior approval from The First Academy’s Brand Managers.

3 Design Collaboration:

Coaches are encouraged to work closely with The First Academy’s Brand Managers in the design and selection process of new athletic uniforms. The collaboration aims to ensure that designs align with the school's visual identity and brand standards.

Before production, all new athletic uniform designs must be submitted to and approved by The First Academy’s Brand Managers. The Brand Managers will provide guidance to ensure designs meet the established brand standards.

Do’s:

Do use logos, fonts, and colors from the current Branding Guidelines.

Don't's:

Do not use old logos or branding standards (see below). Only logos and fonts from the current Branding Guidelines should be used. Other designs from Under Armour, etc. will need approval from the Brand Managers.

Do not use the logo inappropriately on apparel (see below). All apparel should display TFA’s brand professionally and appropriately.
